I have been going here since they have opened and have never been disappointed! Their food is absolutely amazing weather I am there with just my husband or if we have a large party of people the service has always been excellent. No matter how crowded it is or if there are a lot of people waiting to be seated they always move very quickly to bus tables and get the next party seated, I have never waited more than 20 minutes for a table. Two years ago me and my family went here on Thanksgiving my mom was currently going through treatment for breast cancer and didn't want to cook she just wanted to relax and go out with her family, there were 10 of us there they got us seated quickly, we had an amazing server, and the prices for the Thanksgiving meals were a steal especially for how much food you received I think we all took leftovers home that night! Diner food is always a bit of a gamble. Went here with my wife and 2 friends recently because, in the past, we've enjoyed their wings. I got an order of buffalo wings that was good. Nothing to write home about, but they were crispy and had just the right amount of heat. My wife ordered a crock of tomato soup and regretted it from the first bite. It was completely covered in an inch of melted cheese and the soup itself was the consistency you'd expect out of a condensed can of tomato soup. Neither of us was able to finish it. The bright spot out of the experience was the side of fries I ordered with my wings. But, it's pretty hard to mess up an order of fries. read more

We have been there many times before. Each time the food and service were very good. Tonight was terrible. I ordered a salmon patty. It was horrible. I have never had brown salmon before. I told the waitress I did not want my meal. I had only taken 1 bite of the patty, less than half of the soup and 1 Brussel sprout. The Brussel sprouts were hard and cold. She called the manager. He offered other food. I did not want anything. I asked him to take the meal back. The check came. He took the salmon off the bill, but billed me for the 2 sides that came with the meal. The total for the 2 sides came to a dollar less than the total of the meal. I was upset. I have never heard of a situation handled in that manner. Poor customer service. read more

Unfortunately, I have to give an updated review of this place. My daughter and I used to go there every week for a "girls night", but no more. The last three times I was there, the service was severely lacking. The first unsavory visit, the waiter had a half tucked, half untucked shirt, didn't seem to care about his appearance or taking our drink order. The vegetable stir fry special I ordered was so salty, it was like one of those frozen bags you buy at the store with the sauce in a little plastic pouch that you heat up. Gross. Second time, the waitress never came and checked on us, and she seemed like she wanted to be anywhere other than at work. The third time... there was a hair in my food. So I ordered Gyros (my usual) They said 20 minutes and I got there in 15 but they were already waiting for me great! Except they tasted like they were waiting there for me since yesterday. Ordered no tomatoes and extra sauce. Got smothered in tiny tomato pieces, very little sauce, leather meat, and something that looked sort of like lettuce but I'm not sure. Great place! Even when they were slammed on a holiday weekend with a line out the door, turnover was fast and we waited less than 10 minutes when we were quoted even a low 15-20. We went on a Friday night after seeing a movie at Penn Cinema. Owner greeted us as we came in, and gave us a seat. The waitress took longer than she should have to come to our table, and didn't seem to excited to be there. This place defines Lancaster, PA. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the service is good. Granted, the diner itself is cheesy as hell. The decor is new construction mixed with whatever was on sale at Hobby Lobby. In other words, not your classic diner vibe as far as atmosphere. The food, however, is delicious if you're into giant portions of comfort food. Especially breakfast. My favorite is the French toast. Manager always shakes my hand when he seats us.
