Solid bagel sandwich. Basically what you would expect this to taste like. It's not the best bagel sandwich I've ever had but it's good enough that I'd come back and get this again. I'm interested in trying their unique cream cheese flavors! Seems like these flavors rotate but when I was there they had a bright blue Cookie Monster flavor, apples and cinnamon flavor, and birthday cake flavor just to name a few. There were also several unique bagel flavors including a rainbow bagel

The place was simply decorated and very clean. Toasted Bagel with butter was pretty standard but well priced. Solid spot if you're in the area and want a good breakfast sandwich, variety of bagels, and coffee/tea. Another bonus, they own at 7am for the early birds.

Perfectly fine bagel! Did not skimp on the cream cheese and smeared on both sides (yum). Clean place and friendly staff.

Tried the newly opened Midtown location of Bagels & Co this morning and were quite satisfied! We ordered online for pickup, and it was very quick. Our order was ready to go when we walked in and everything was correct. They have a large menu that offers a lot of customization, meaning there's something for everyone! There are so many flavors of bagels that can be smeared or made into a sandwich, so of course we tried them both ways. They're not as thick as other bagels I've had, but they're still crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The Oreo bagel was actually so good, and paired really well with the Cookie Monster smear. The only thing I probably wouldn't order again is the breakfast burrito. It was good, but I guess I should have known to stick to the bagels at a place called "Bagels & Co." The hashbrown on it was really what made it, but if you're going to order it, definitely add some spinach or arugula and their chipotle mayo or hot sauce. Their coffee was also good! Very bold and nutty espresso with lots of syrup and milk options. We will be back to try more bagels and smears!!

Stopped by on the way home in the morning as I was hungry and wanted something I could pick up quickly. They have a good menu with plenty of variety. Sandwiches are made after you order. There was not a long line when I went and I waited about 10 minutes. Drinks come out fast so you can have those as you wait. Lots of options so I can easily go back to try different things.

This bagel store is conveniently located near 11 and market bus stop and by Jefferson area. The gentleman who took my order was very nice and courteous. I only ordered bagels untoasted with side of cream cheese so I assumed it would take a short time to get it. To my surprise, I had to wait a while for my order. It turned out my bag of bagels had been sitting on the counter, just waiting for another staff to call my name. There should be a more efficient way to expedite orders. To my disappointment, they forgot my cream cheese.

Really tasty place! The workers were super friendly, the bagel was delicious and well served, and overall vibes were cozy!

Disappointed to say the least. After waiting 30 minutes, I was charged for items I did not order and 2/4 bagels were wrong.

Mediocre bagels, we all ordered our bagels to be toasted and they were cold/not toasted. Quick service but not worth it for the quality.

Employees are very nice but the bagels are terrible. Basically just a toasted bun, doesn't even have the shiny bagel look

Love seeing a positive face in the morning! I orders a BEC on sea salt rosemary-- my goto. Bagels were out in ~5 minutes, and it was a delicious bit to eat with coffee later on. The shop here is pick-up only, and on some mornings when I've visited especially in the winter, it's kind of painful to wait inside because it started to get a bit cramped. More just a heads up but not a piece of feedback though since their lot is pretty small. If you're grabbing breakfast in the Rittenhouse area, this is nice option for you! Just know that you'll have to take it to-go and eat it elsewhere.

The everything bagel seasoning was very good but the bagel was mediocre. The bagel was loaded with strawberry cream cheese which had good flavor. The others had regular bagels and had better reviews of the bagels. A couple egg sandwiches were described as being "good" and a plain bagel with cream cheese was given similar review. I'm not sure it's the kind of bagel shop that I would go racing back to at any point but it was decent. A bright light was how good the staff was to work with in terms of being friendly while placing an order. Probably brought this review from a 3 to a 4 based upon the staff interaction.

When I order a bagel,…read moreI'll tell them the type of bagel, whether I want it toasted (always yes for me), the type of cream cheese (scallion vegan cream cheese), and then any additions that I want (usually tomato and onion). When ordering coffee, I'll let them know what I want (drip coffee) with whatever kind of milk (with heavy oat milk enough to change colour) and sweetener (with sugar please). Then you let them know any sides you want. I may or may not be saying it a bit quickly, because I'm half awake, and running on auto pilot, because I've lived in the Northeast for so long. The absolutely delightful lady behind the counter got it all recorded, fired, and sorted as and when it was coming out of my mouth. Confirmed everything, collected my payment, and we kept it pumping. As soon as the coffee was ready, called me over to grab it, because it was chilly and rainy while we waited. When one of the items I was ordering was taking a long time, the staff let me know that the item was taking a while longer than expected to finish cooking. My food came out perfectly done. Also, when they pass you your food, they confirm how many things you're ordering to make sure you get all your stuff. This operation is efficient, fast, and friendly. It's inexpensive for what you're getting. Coffee is excellent. Bagels have that snappy exterior, and chewy insides. Hash browns are crisp and piping hot. Coffee is rich and dark. Genuinely, you can't have any complaints when everything is done just right.

I went to Middle Child a few weeks ago just after 3, only to find it closes at 3. Today I returned, around 1, and there was a good crowd there having lunch. I ordered the Surfer, and the Hash Brown Potatoes. The Surfer is Middle Child's most popular sandwich. It's made on a Ciabatta bun, and has a thick layering of tender, lean, House Turkey breast, with melty Swiss cheese, arugula, blueberry chutney, and Duke's mayo. It's hard to describe just how delicious this sandwich was. My biggest concern was the Ciabatta bun - it's not one of my favorites, as I've found them to be tough and difficult to bite through. My fears were quickly put to rest after the first bite! The bun had a slightly crispy exterior - and when I followed through with my first bite, the tender, soft interior of the Ciabatta was a pleasant surprise. In fact, it complemented the thick savory Turkey, arugula, chutney and mayo! It was one of the best Turkey sandwiches I've had. Now, if that wasn't enough, don't forget, I ordered the Hash Brown Potatoes. It said Hash Browns on the blackboard, see attached picture, but these 'weren't your Mama's hash browns'! They are described online as Latka'd Hash Browns. They are thick crispy squares that combine a potato pancake latke with a hash brown texture. The interior reminded me of my mother's potato kugel, which I still reminisce about. In one word, those fried crispy potato squares were outstanding. It's 'a must try' and goes so well with the Surfer! Last, but not least, the Limeade! It was so refreshing! Not too tart, not too sweet... just right! I'll be returning to Middle Child in the not too distant future!

When I was FINALLY acknowledged; I was told here is one order which was ready, "5 mins for the next one" Okay cool. So the order was put on the counter but since people don't like when you just take the order that you have to deliver i again had to wait and try not to interrupt the conversation making me 2 minutes late for the drop off. What could improve?? Why not acknowledge people walking into your store and maybe pause your conversation because you aren't home.
