I have mixed feelings about knuckle sandwiches. The prices are fair for the sizes, because the sandwiches are totally huge. I got the Dagwood and even though there's a lot of ingredients on the sandwiches, it was still very bland, The meats aren't seasoned and the turkey was a large, unflavorful slab. The soda I got was flat and tasted bad. Tried the aha seltzer and it came out brown. For a sandwich, drink, chips, and potato salad plus a tip it was 18.64. I left feeling a little regretful, as the cost outweighed my satisfactions. May try another sandwich next time to see if it's any better, but I'll save myself the drink and potato salad and just get chips next time. read more

Man, what a surprise. We had never even heard of this place and we tried it during quarantine to avoid cooking and it's definitely a place we'll go to again. My wife ordered the Pastrami and some potato salad which both were delicious. I ordered the Hero sandwich which was also great. Had my first opportunity to try knuckle sandwiches today. I dropped this morning and I decided to try a breakfast burrito. I've had plenty of breakfast burritos. Some places just can't do it right. Others just wrap some slip in a tortilla. knuckle sandwiches made one of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had. I ordered the sausage one. It was perfect. It wasn't greasy. It wasn't slimy. Wanted to try this place as there were so many great reviews. The space has plenty of seating and is located on the corner of a shopping plaza. My son and husband liked their Ruben and Meatball subs, I was less enthusiastic with my salad. The lettuce was room temperature and although the lettuce wasn't wilted, room temperature lettuce is not very appetizing I do have to say that the staff is very friendly but the rundown atmosphere would not make me rush to go back anytime soon. This restaurant is currently a work in progress, the interior is incomplete but functional. The dining area and kitchen looked clean. Since this place is new, the employees are too. If you get carry-out check your order before you leave. All the staff are in the process of learning how to do their jobs. I ordered a roast beef sandwich, a hero sandwich, and some coleslaw. The Hero was outstanding, the bread was great, and the toppings were great. The roast beef was bland and almost without flavor. The meat was mushy, but the bread was great. The coleslaw was almost tasteless. I could have made much better with ingredients from the grocery store. All my food was served technically correct. I will definitely order the Hero again, but their coleslaw and roast beef was disappointing. Will I go back? Absolutely yes! FYI: It appears some of the reviews for this restaurant are bogus, which is a significant problem on Yelp, I would disregard any reviewer with less then 20 reviews and always select Newest First, instead of Yelp Sort. read more

I ordered the Hero sandwich and it was absolutely amazing. The quality of the sandwich was perfect . The sandwich is composed of 5 different kinds of meats and each were hand carved. So I was able to get these nice size pieces that arranged perfectly . That bread, you can tell was definitely made fresh and had an airy yet firm texture which made the juices that flowed from the sandwich soak in to the bread without making it soggy. The atmosphere is great as well I was quickly greeted and served and since it was my first name I was walked through the menu options. Ordered for a work event of 12 people. We weren't razzle dazzled. The positive is the Salads were all good. We had the Cobb, ceasar, & spinach salad. Everyone said their meat was good but the sandwiches just didn't quite hit the spot. The turkey wrap had only turkey & cheese inside . All the other ingredients were left out and it was on a regular tortilla and not the specialty tortilla the menu mentioned. I would say still give this place a try if you need a sandwich. Maybe we had to large an order and it was too stressful in the kitchen to put it together, but we did call it in 2 hours in advance. It wasn't ready when I arrived and I had to wait 15 minutes. Ok, well I can honestly say that the bacon breakfast burrito my wife son and I had this morning was delicious ! Every bite of my burrito had egg , cheese , onions and peppers . The only thing that knuckle Sandwiches, breakfast burritos lack is of course , green Chile . Specifically , New Mexico Green Chile . Not poblanos , serranos , jalapeños not Anaheim green Chile ......... just straight NEW MEXICO GREEN CHiLE , from anywhere in the southern New Mexico , rio grande river valley . Add that , and you will have the best breakfast burrito in Arizona . I have only tried the breakfast burrito, so do not know about any other items on the menu. But I can't wait to try the Knuckle sandwich next . If your in the mode for a great tasting breakfast burrito , I highly recommend Knuckle Sandwich . The sourdough Keizer bun was fantastic . Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside . The chicken sandwich had great seasoning on the chicken itself and the brioche bun was great . The veggie sandwich was very flavorful even though it was just a veggie sandwich. The turkey panini was great , crunchy bread and very flavorful . We all enjoyed our sandwiches and the atmosphere in the restaurants . Here is hoping they get some green Chile to ad to their breakfast burritos . Because I was happy with this sandwich about a week later I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich again. This time the meat was fine but there was only about a tablespoon of melted cheese.
