The towed in school bus from our campsite
    Donna C.

Many people have complained about the smell from the feed lot. And I can agree if the wind blows in the right direction it is noticeable but it is northern Colorado after all. However what bothers me most about this campground is the junk that's on the west side (which could provide nice mountain views) has about 5 or 6 old beat up RVs, cars and a small flatbed type trailer. You can tell they haven't been moved by the long grass around them. Then last night an old school bus was towed in and parked in a campsite. It is not a renovated type bus! It looks like a couple windows are missing or broken and wires hanging. I asked the guy in office (found out he was the owner) and he didn't seem bothered. I was a bit surprised by his response about helping a guy out who's bus broke down. I would agree but I did think this was a campground not a junk yard for broken down school buses and they do have an area in the back that could've been more appropriate for something like that and cheaper for the guy he was helping out. The staff has been very nice and friendly. They are planting a lot of pots of flowers and little gardens around and they do have a small dog park. The pool isn't working and from what I understand it hasn't all summer. Wouldn't recommend the campground unless it's a quick overnight as it is super convenient off I25.

In fact, the drive to see family in Cheyenne took the same amount of time as it took to drive to see family in Ft.

We stayed here in the last night of our wonderful family vacation and we were so very disappointed. We booked over the phone and specifically asked to share a "yard" with our friends camping with us. The phone staff told us there were no full hookup spots remaining where we could camp together so we booked the last remaining water and electric sites. After arriving, we were not sharing a yard at all. We asked to move into the empty spot on the other side so we could share, but we were rudely told that wouldn't be allowed. The lady at the desk even told my husband, "Well that's what you reserved, so you get what you get!" We were completely shocked!! When we pulled in we were extremely disappointed with what we saw, and then the attitudes were appalling. This is nothing more than a rock parking lot with a few tiny trees sparsely distributed around. There was zero shade and absolutely nothing to block the view from a very busy and noisy interstate. It is just a bunch of campers parked off the interstate. Definitely not what I had in mind for gorgeous Wyoming camping!! There aren't even any fire pits!!! Who wants to camp with friends and kids with no fire pit and a TINY little junky picnic table?! Trust me, there are lots of other gorgeous campgrounds nearby, so save your money and your sanity!! Don't waste part of your vacation here!! Drive on by!!!

I should have known this place would suck from the beginning when I walked in there was a lady…read moretrying to explain why she had to take someone's deposit with no refund. She was totally uncompassionate and just said it's our practice to keep your deposit if you don't cancel within 48 hours and the person on the phone hung up on her. Lol. I was really tired and I decided to go ahead and stay....their bill was $43 for a tent spot! I told him that I paid $27 the night before in Sioux Falls South Dakota. Greedy wanker smiled and told me they have mini golf. Later he told us to quit lighting fireworks.... it was 7:30, and almost 4th of July in Wyoming. Again this place sucks, it's always windy and when your sleeping you will hear the highway which is very annoying. Do yourself a favor and keep driving.
