This was our first time here. It was amazing! Most importantly, they had gluten free muffins, kolaches, and cinnamon rolls. They were all delicious and didn't taste gluten free but were! I don't know what brings me back to this place 1-2 times a week (AT LEAST), the amazing quality of kolaches/sweets or the bubbly sweet lady selling the food. This lady and her lively personality is the most refreshing wake up call I need for my mornings. She has a wide variety of kolaches, and even though they have the traditional flavors that most people are used to ( sausage, sausage with cheese, jimmy dean) the ones you need to try are her signature creations ( Gyro, BBQ brisket, jalapeno poppers, grilled cheese, beef and gravy, and many more). If you can't choose between all of those different and overwhelming decisions I would recommend my to-go flavor: the Gyro. I hear they are expanding on their menus i.e. more variety of coffee flavors and better quality beans, ice cream, maybe boba tea?..... Regardless of their endeavors I'm stoked! I highly recommend coming here for breakfast to start your day. My friend and I were on a road trip from Austin to Houston and was recommended by our friends to swing by this hidden gem. We cut it pretty close to closing and so they didn't have much left over. However, whatever they did have was delicious. We tried the Boudin, Cream Cheese, Peaches & Cream, Jalapeno, and Biscuits & Gravy Kolache. They were amazing!! My wife had been talking about these "Cronuts" she saw on Facebook in a food group....so we finally made it here. Crazy part is we've passed by this place a million times, and even got gas right next door at the Shell. Nevertheless, on to the food....which was AWESOME!! The variety of kolaches and other concoctions they have is crazy!! From Mac n Cheese kolaches, to Brisket kolaches, to Sausage and Gravy, and even Crawfish Étouffée....just to name a few!! We had a hard time settling on a few, so we got about 8 different kinds!! And ALL of them were bomb!! My personal favorites were the Brisket and the Crobar filled with Nutella(see attached pic)! My wife loved the Crawfish and the Boudain ones! The bread is so soft and buttery, and you can tell that the are freshly made daily! With Kolache places popping up on every other corner it's easy to be skeptical when you hear of another one. It was a bit of a drive for us, but turns out it was well worth it. To start out, the minute you walk in you know they care about their business. From the crisp white decor and small details to the cleanliness of the place every inch was thought out. It's not just another kolache place with bare walls and a food case, it's an all out assault on your senses including all the delicious smells that go with the baked goods piled high behind the glass. The variety of kolaches is great! You have your standard expected sausage, bacon, egg and other breakfast varieties along side smoked brisket (more about this soon), enchilada and even pork belly (a lot more about this soon too). They also, apparently specialize in a variety of cinnamon rolls as well. Back to the kolaches, I'll start with the smoked brisket. The second you bite into it you smell and taste the smoke. It's like you're standing next to the smoker itself! The meat was moist and flavorful and there was no doubt this was indeed a smoked brisket, I will have this again! Now on to the heavenly delight that was the pork belly. Let me start by saying I don't believe you can actually mess up pork belly, because, well, pork belly.....but holy delicious pig candy!!! It was actually Char Siu I believe. The meat was more than tender and juicy, it was perfection. The only thing wrong with it was that I didn't order two, or three (let's face it I could have eaten five). Imagine your favorite pork belly bao or the best Char Siu from your favorite chinese place wrapped in a warm tender kolache bun....this kolache is pure gold!!! We brought home a Red Velvet Cinnamon Roll to get into later because why wouldn't you? The thing is as big as my face, haven't tried it yet, but if their kolaches are any indication I'm sure I'll be in ecstasy. To solidify the whole experience I would be amiss to omit the AMAZING SERVICE! I'm guessing from other reviews that the woman behind the counter was the owner. Greeted warmly as you walk in and then, even though she was dealing with a line of people she took the time to have a quick and personal conversation with each person as she checked them out. We learned that the pastries are made with better quality ingredients including locally-sourced meat, organic veggies, and unbleached flour. You can taste the difference! The dough was so soft and full of flavor. My egg white and leek kolache was fluffy and amazing! My husband tried "the real" which was a fresh sausage kolache, and the spicy boudin kolache - both were delicious! We also tried the donuts - the blueberry cake, churro, and glazed - YUM! The owner, "Crazy" (as she likes to be called!) was very sweet and clearly has a passion for her business. You walk in and the place smells amazing. I bought one of each and brought them to the office to try. The sausage and gravy is awesome. Tons of fresh gravy and sasauge. The spicey brisket was legit. You could taste the smoke on the brisket and she puts in plenty of meat. The non meat eaters in my office loved the black bean enchilada. The rasberry cinnamon roll was awesome. The best part was the owner. She is a truly sweat person. She reminds me of my grandmother Betty and that is the highest compliment I can give a person. I also tried the sausage and gravy Kolache, Nutella cinnamon roll and a cream cheese danish! It was delicious!!! What can i say... I was running a 20 miler one day and stopped in with a few (10+) other women because we were desperate for a restroom and they were the only place open - no intentions on eating right then. They were welcoming, smiled, and sent us off with an "enjoy the rest of your run!" The owner resonated with me so i felt obligated to return to pay them for letting us use the restrooms - support small biz, obviously. I went in when i finished my run and bought a chocolate milk for myself and kolache for my husband. My husband was mad i only brought him one!! Lol! They're fantastic! I've gone back since then solely for the owner being so welcoming and amazing, and i have come to absolutely love their food!! There is a quote "spread love everywhere you go. Let no one come to you without leaving happier." It's obvious the owner lives by this and I've taken it to be my personal mantra. I have been trying to snag one of these folks' kolaches, but it's dang near impossible. They don't make enough. A case full of donuts and not a kolache to be found between 9 and 10 am on a weekend. OMG- you can't go wrong here. Everything is amazing! I tend to go for the regular cinnamon rolls because they can't be beat.

The only thing bad about this place is that they're so good you have to get there early or they run out of some of the favorites.

We had a poor experience trying to cater with this shop for a company event. I called one week and they said they weren't open, but they'd hook us up next time they were open and we were ready to order. Well surprise we were excited about using them for a different event now that they are open, and the employee told us she'd have to go down on the quality of the food to honor the corporate discount. She was also very egocentric the whole time about how they're better than the rest. Horrible customer service, really who in their right mind tells their customer they'll go down in quality, mind you we were promised to get taken care of since the first time around we tried ordering before their official open.
