Service was good; They ask all guests to write a google review and mention their server at the end of the meal, which probably is why there are so many google reviews. I wouldn't go as far to say they're fake though. The food here is good. I had the churrasco which is fun because they flambé it. However it is $44 for the plate of steak + 4 yuca fries... All other items are the menu are quite pricey. Sushi and fried rice are priced at $28 average, which is why I avoided those (as well as reading some reviews that the fried rice and sushi rolls weren't the strong points). The interior is nice and feels upscale, (there's even a dress code), which may be why the high prices. When I visited, there was a ton of staff standing around despite only 3 parties present. Hopefully they balance their staffing better. It's a good spot for cocktails and some small bites.

Kobano is a beautiful restaurant, and the food presentation matches the vibe. I went for brunch today with my brother. The food was pretty to look at, but the flavor didn't completely wow me it wasn't bad, just not amazing. The highlight was definitely the steak from the steak and eggs. Staff was friendly and welcoming, but overall it was on the pricey side.

So yummy!!! What a combination of Japanese Brazilian foods! Some dishes were great others were forgettable. Must try their yellowtail app, crispy rice and skip the fried rice. Beautiful interior and great lighting!

Came here for their Sunday bootomless brunch. The food was actually pretty good I got the steak and eggs. The DJs played good music and it wasn't so loud that you couldn't hear each other. Our server was excellent-- super nice and attentive.

Wow last minute dinner with my cousins while back home & we cannot wait to come back. Already made reservations for June because we loved it so much. Very chic ambiance. Gives a Miami flare in the heart of lower manhattan. The music was a bit loud but we later understand it was part of the amazing DJ and the Saturday night vibe. Drinks were spot on and the fusion between Sushi & Latin!! Fantastic. Definitely a must try!!

Super cute and trendy restaurant on Bowery! It gives tropical/Tulum vibes and is perfect for a weekend outing. Claudia was great and so friendly during our service. The toro roll is amazing! The churrasco was delicious but could use a bit more flavor/seasoning. I really liked their chimichurri. Cocktails were unique and very well done. Perfect spot for a date or birthday!

The ambiance was warm and inviting, and I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was -- which probably helped contribute to the excellent service. I tried the veggie gyoza, which were tasty and well-prepared. The yakitoris were a standout -- served on a mini grill with a variety of flavorful sauces. The cucumber chili had a nice kick, and the truffle rice was rich and delicious. Definitely worth a visit!

Crunchy rice roll. Crab and salmon (says spicy but it isn't)

This review is for the Sunday reggaeton brunch event. Leaving impression: had fun and would definitely go again. It was very loud, but there are 2 rooms. So, take your pic of party loud or able to speak with your friends loud. Music was a good mix of 'classic' reggaeton and current. Some bachata/merengue got thrown in the mix too. TIP: the crunchy rice rolls are tiny. yummy but TINY. So don't go hungry. Although if the crunchy roll doesn't fill you. Order a different brunch item or get filled up with the bottomless drinks.....

So delicious, I loved their brunch and the energy of the team there was awesome. The server was so sweet. It felt like a party from start to finish and I adored the disco ball and the jungle like decor in the dining space . I would love to return to try their dinner menu!

Had a great time tonight at Konabo! Went on yelp while there to try to see pics of the desserts before picking one and saw there was only 2 reviews on here with one of them being harshly negative, but we had an amazing time so wanted to come on and say that!! The food was great our favorite was the firecracker roll, cucumber, and caviar crispy rice. The ambiance was amazing too, it seems like a great place to go with a lot of friends for drinks or dinner before a night out. Would recommend :)

My friends and I came here to celebrate a birthday and we had the best time. From the food, service and ambiance it was worth the trip from NJ. I'd love to come back again with more friends.

Unfortunately, we forgot his name, but he was extremely polite and helpful. We were celebrating my father-in-law's birthday with a group of six, and making a reservation was definitely the right move, as it's highly recommended for larger groups. We did the full Churrasco experience, and the meat was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. They also have a salad bar, and everything there was made fresh and tasted amazing. We had the lava cake, which was absolutely delicious. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Just because it's a steakhouse in mid-town Manhattan doesn't mean you have to break the bank. Fogo has one thing on the menu that should fit the bill: Market Table & Feijoada Bar. OYCE for $20 if you come during their lunch hours which are 11:30-3pm during weekdays and 11:30-2pm on weekends. The salad bar was splendid. I must have sampled at least 90% of their offerings. Everything was so colorful, delish and healthful, making me relatively guilt-free while committing gluttony. There were so many recipes I rarely have the opportunity to experience, yet here they were - all at the same bar. I particularly enjoyed the roasted zucchini, pickled tomato, greens with roasted pears, and persimmons. For those who require animal protein, smoked salmon and chicken salad were available, as well as pork at the Feijoda bar. Speaking of which, I wasn't a fan of that section. The Feijoda was too salty while the lentil soup was too bland. The ambiance was elegant and staff were professional. There were a few issues for me personally: none of the staff replenishing the food spoke English, they had to correct my bill twice, and the person who answered my call was scripted and mechanical - I might as well talk to a bot.

If you're wondering about seafood, the only seafood option was the fish stew from the salad bar. My favorites from the salad bar were the potato salad and the Brussels sprouts. The complimentary cheese bread (very mochi like) was also very good. As a beginner, I definitely made the mistake of filling myself up too much at the salad bar and should have saved more room for the meat. My favorite cuts were the beef sirloin and the chicken. Some of the other cuts were just okay and a bit tough to chew but still flavorful. Next time, I will definitely prepare better by not filling up so much at the salad bar! Highly recommend, beef sirloin, chicken, and tiramisu!

My cousin was visiting the US for the first time, and I wanted to offer a memorable dining experience. What we received instead was shockingly poor service. From the moment we sat down, it was obvious the server had no interest in serving us. His attitude was cold, dismissive, and unnecessarily rude. He appeared once to ask which side we wanted, delivered with irritation, and then vanished. When we tried to interact or ask questions, he acted as if our presence was an inconvenience. The behavior felt less like hospitality and more like we were asking for a favor ! as if he were paying for our meal rather than being paid to serve it. A reminder may be needed: servers are not doing charity work, and customers paying premium prices deserve basic respect. The entire mood of the evening was ruined. For a restaurant that charges what it does, this level of service is unacceptable and embarrassing. High prices do not excuse low standards. For comparison, Fogo de Chão consistently delivers professionalism, warmth, and respect ! everything this restaurant failed to provide. If management is comfortable allowing staff to treat guests differently based on who they are, that speaks volumes. Disappointing, overpriced, and poorly managed. I will not be returning.

I also only ate one of my two steaks - like I said - they had generous portions! The rice and beans with the sides they came with were excellent. Of course we shared the cheese bread, which was served warm, satisfyingly cheesy with a nice sticky consistency. For my entree, I ordered the Steak which came with fries, rice and beans. Steak was not tender, as it was difficult to cut especially with the knife they had available. Fries were not crispy enough and very bland. I also got to try the Crispy Salmon and Cheesy mushroom rice. Crispy Salmon had a delightful crispness on the edges. The Salmon was also succulent and flaky. Cheesy mushroom rice was cooked perfectly, with plenty of irresistible melty cheese with mushroom and tasty seasoning. Service was decent. Prices were not bad. However, I would not return because the food was mediocre.
