New to GA and a frequent customer but will NEVER order again due to the horrendous customer service experience tonight.!!! Part of our order was a medium bowl and received a small so called to let them know since we paid for it, no big deal...EXCEPT the girl was completely rude and said take it up with Door dash....?!? They made the order..?!? Asked for a manager who said if we don't come in he can do nothing about it....? We have busy schedules so we cannot dine in. He said "nothing he can do about it"..Asked for his boss and he began talking in Chinese or Japanese and hung up on me. Never have experienced such RUDE and unprofessional behavior when we are weekly customers. I will definitely never refer nor recommend them after this. There are plenty of amazing other competitors nearby. Excited to try new places. Would not waste your time if you want it delivered, you will pay and not get what you ordered. I was craving Japanese food, so I thought I would give this place a try. Upon entering, the restaurant was clean and there were three or four booths with patrons seated. The young lady at the counter greeted me as soon as I walked in and was very friendly. I looked over the menu and decided to get the medium shrimp bowl and a spring roll, to go. It only took a few minutes to get my order and out the door I went. I drove home smelling the food all the way and could not wait to eat it. Well, the spring roll was good, the shrimp in the bowl was just ok, oh and there was like 4 tiny pieces of broccoli mixed in with it. On to the rice - dry, dry, dry! I had two containers of shrimp sauce and added both of them to the rice and it was still very dry. The rice really did not have any flavor of it's own. Welp, time to update my review. Sadly, this place has taken a turn for the worst. I have tried multiple times to give it yet "another try". For whatever reason their quality of food is has gone so far south. The steak and chicken is soooo dry, the shrimp overcooked and the sushi...Girl, the sushi. Don't do it! Door dashed. That was fine and on time. Shrimp were funky. Steak and chicken had no color or flavor as if steamed or cooked in microwave. Zucchini and onions no color just steamed and raw. Fried rice is just steamed rice with soy added. Apparently the place doesn't have a griddle because everything just taste steamed and under seasoned. Take hibachi out of the name of restaurant. Very disappointed. We ordered some last night and everyone got the same thing, the ribeye with shrimp. Well it looked like they split one ribeye between our three orders. Like 5 maybe 6 small pieces of meat on top of what was supposed to be fried rice which was more like just white rice with a little bit of soy sauce on the hibachi for 10 seconds. Won't go there again on top of that there were no vegetables and one small shrimp sauce per meal even though extra was requested. read more

I had high hopes that fell quickly when we walked in. We had to sit at a large table since there was five of us and it wasn't clean. The floor was really sticky. The food actually wasn't too bad. Japanese food...by people who have never had Japanese food? Not sure I can figure this one out. Stingy portions, my wife ordered the teriyaki bowl and it came with chicken lightly coated in teriyaki-like sauce (thinly) and a meager portion of rice; didn't taste either like teriyaki nor anything else vaguely Asian. My shrimp bowl had 7 lonely shrimp that didn't even touch each other. Over a mushy, soy-sauce soaked bed of rice. And, again with the foam! Everything on foam plates/cups/bowls. Sheesh, at least paper comes from the local paper company (literally, 2 miles away...) and isn't made from oil sold to us by people we don't like and don't like us. We won't be back. read more

When the restaurant first open the food was great. Then the steak got thinner and they started charging for extra sauce.

Love the Shrimp Tempura Roll and steak bowls from here! Actually the only place I'll eat sushi from besides Miyabi! Very clean place with very polite staff; however, two times I encountered a very disrespectful girl working the cash register. She looked as if she was still in high school, was very snobby and had a bad attitude. The first time I went it was just me and she was not respectful at all like any of the other cashiers that have been in there when I went in there before. About a week later I decided to give it another chance thinking maybe she was just having a bad day but this time I went with my brother. She was there again and was very disrespectful to me and also my brother! My younger brother was even the one to bring it up to me after we left about how rude she was. This really upset me and is the only time I ever had a problem with the staff here. Me and my brother tried going one more time after this and she wasn't there so I'm really hoping they got rid of her because of the way she acted towards customers. Kobe is right off the bat not the place you want to go to if you're looking for authentic food. It being as small as it is and in Rincon should let you know that its simply for people who dont want to dine out and dont want to cook at home. The food is made fairly quickly depending on the hour and the meats are decent and seasoned well. They make a good teriyaki sauce and their ginger isn't bad. The shrimp sauce has too much mayo in it though, they could ease on that a tad. The chicken was good but it seemed like every mean customer got more than me and i was shorted for being polite (multiple times). I was happy to say it wasn't rubbery chicken like many japanese places are notorious for. The shrimp is actually impressive because its the most flavorful out of the meats and was cut well (at least the ones i received were), cooked very fine. The steak is good but it is sliced so thinly and the pieces aren't at all anything to brag about. Sometimes the steak is really tasty but sometimes it's bland and has no flavor. Like many places that make asian food, Kobe was thriving upon its opening but because its in such a small area, word travels fast which is good for the business but not so much for the customers, at least in this case. The portions were bigger and the food was overall cooked well. Now because of their increased business they rush on the fried rice to the point that it is basically everything but fried. The butter is there. The oil is there. The paprika, sure. All it needed was to sit and be cooked longer but it seems mushy and unsatisfactory everytime i gave them the benefit of the doubt (they were given multiple chances). Now this isn't a rant by any means, this is a review, so I'm gonna lay it on ya how i lived it. The girls at the counter always act like a deer caught in the headlights of a semi truck when you say hello as if they never knew they'd be interacting with people or they act like you slapped their ancestors food out of their hands because you disrupted their highschool gossiping or their vital texts like every message was an Amber Alert. Besides that, they definitely try to be quick about your orders if they type them right or dont try to add $6 extra from you thinking you wont notice. They are good for people who just want something to digest that is different from the regular burgers an fries that fill Rincon. I hope they do better like when they first started because i would love to start going there again. read more
