I was been disappointed the last time thought I'd give it a try it's been a while. The young lady never came back to check on me after giving me my extra napkins to see how my food was.. till I had my food pushed away from me. I think they made fresh chicken and put it on top of chicken that was cooked previously. Asked for extra veggies I think all I got was a hell of a lot of onion. I'm sad this was my go to place. Instead I just a just ate on steamed rice so my dinner a small rice was $15 plus a dessert cuz my food was so bad. Wow! After hearing about this place and the desire of a friend to contrasted with another spot that we recently found, sumo 's, we decided to have a Sushi off recently! We tried six different roles from here, all of which were quite good. The rainbow roll was very good, the Oregon roll was tasty call in the Kobe roll cough was delicious. The Kobe roll was the most visually intriguing. It was served as rectangle pieces call and head both very good flavor in was a solid portion size. The rolls here we're all good sized and with an expectedly large array of different options, it definitely made so everybody got some of what they were wanting. The only downside was the to go order took quite a long time, but we chalked it up to being a busy brunch afternoon. Recently we declared that sumo's was our go to spot for sushi, and after one week, they officially have a challenger! read more

The food was good, loved the taste of the boiled egg, I've tried so much ramen at many different places, they're ramen is decent, not to die for, but it's good. The edamame was pretty good too, and their Thai tea. We loved our waitress, she was so nice and friendly. The vibe of the place is pretty laid back too, the seats are comfy, but the tables aren't the best feeling, sometimes they feel sticky even when they're clean idk. We first ordered pickup from Kobe in March of 2021. We got the Kobe Roll, Eel Roll, Hawaii Roll, and Beef Pad Thai. At the time, I didn't find any of it particularly good. The Kobe Roll had very thin fish on it, with way too much rice underneath. The Eel roll was kind of bland. The Beef Pad Thai was just ok. The Hawaii roll was the only thing I thought I might order again, but I didn't like the meal enough to order again anytime soon. Flash forward to December of 2021, and what a difference! We were close by and decided to give it another shot and dine in. The restaurant was cozy and quite full the night we were there. We ordered the Hawaii Roll, Philadelphia Roll, Salmon Avocado Roll, California Roll and Kobe Yakisoba. Although I don't typically go for "cooked" sushi, the Hawaii Roll really is unique and delicious. Topped with Mango and a sweet sauce, it goes really well with the coconut shrimp and cream cheese inside. The Philadelphia Roll was good, a little different than I'm used to because they use smoked salmon/lox rather than raw salmon. The Salmon Avocado Roll was simple but fresh and delicious. The California Roll was large and flavorful. And the Kobe Yakisoba (which comes with a blend of all the meat types) was quite good, with a nice balance of meat, veggies, noodles, and sauce. The only thing that threw me a little was that when the bill came, we were charged an extra dollar from the menu price on some of the rolls. I'm assuming this is some kind of pandemic upcharge? Probably still worth the increased price though. This is some of the best sushi I've had in Yakima. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive, and I'm looking forward to dining in again soon. read more

Amazing! We ordered 3 rolls: Oregon, Mexican, and Evergreen. The Oregon and Mexican were exceptional. Absolutely amazing. After the first bite, we knew we hit the jackpot. The sticky rice wasn't quite sticky enough. It was hard to pick up any of it with chopsticks. We liked the tempura a lot. The variety in the bento box meal was a plus. The environment was loud and not very cozy. We didn't enjoy our seating placement. And we didn't really enjoy the sushi included in the bento, but you might. We're not very experienced with sushi, and it's not our aim usually. read more

I orders the tonkatsu Ramen it was far from it ever being tonkatsu ramen. This was the most bland ramen I've ever tried. It wasn't traditional at all, the broth lacked flavor and creaminess plus the broth wasn't even the right color it was watered down trash. The pork belly was ok. The marinated Egg that came with the ramen was alright as well. If you'd like to eat at this establishment I would recommend not buying the ramen. read more

Had the privilege of trying this wonderful place today! The inside was very clean and beautifully decorated. I was so happy to see their menu was full of so many different Kinds of sushi platters as well other options. I ordered the chicken teriyaki and the takoyaki (fried octopus) and both were excellent! They give you such a generous helping of teriyaki that you could easily share it with someone else. I was also pleasantly surprised to receive a free Thai iced tea with my order, which I absolutely love! They were very busy and the order did take a long time to receive so I would recommend calling ahead! Their sushi is excellent and I would have given them five stars except that the TABLES in this restaurant are finished with a thick sticky resin that feels like the floor of a dive bar or porn shop. I have no idea why they were finished this way instead of with a varnish that could be cleaned properly. It was disgusting. People have literally scratched their initials into this sticky repulsive coating and it really detracted from our dining experience. If you're getting takeout or bring your own tablecloth this is no big deal but dining in it's disgusting. Their food and service is excellent and otherwise this is a great place to eat. read more

Went with a group of friends. We were seated promptly upon arrival and given ample time to look over their online menu (via QR code). I will say the wood tables at their booths always feel sticky no matter what, not sure why but it is NOT due to a lack of cleaning (saw them clean our table before seating us). The waitress was friendly and gave us good recommendations for sake and japanese sodas. All the sushi I have tried has been delicious and beautifully plated. A seaweed salad is pretty standard anywhere, but I liked that it had lettuce underneath. The Amazing roll was...amazing! Seriously some of the best sushi I've ever had!!
