Do you have any children playing a tournament near a baseball / softball field on Godlander St, Selah, WA ? Well, you're in luck if you want some teriyaki craving while watching your children playing sports. I couldn't believe how close the distance was, so I was able to stop by really quick and made it back to the field within 5 mins. Relatively cheap in price but not in quality. Definitely a go to if you're craving bentos, beef bowls or terriyaki bowls. This location is also equipped with a drive through for phone order pick ups. Orders are typically made quickly and accurately so it comes highly recommended. read more

This is one of those "diamond in the rough" type places. Its clean, but doesn't look particularly impressive. Your food is served on a Styrofoam plate, and you get plastic utensils. But then you order your food. The staff (a couple of high schoolers) is friendly and sweet... the cook, Doug, is also the owner of the joint... so you know that because it is his business he is taking good care of everything. Come in on a weekly basis, and there is a good chance they'll know your name and have your order ready before you're even out of your car. They have one of the most AMAZING teriyaki sauces I have ever tasted. If your server asks you if you "want it sassy" she is not being fresh with you--their sassy teriyaki sauce is the same sweet and savory sauce but with a bite to it! The portion sizes are very generous! The veggies are a little odd--steamed cabbage with a tiny bit of carrot/onion. I'm not a huge fan, but my mom LOVES them. If you're like me, though, you can get extra rice or a side salad or coleslaw in place of the cabbage. And if you're in for a splurge, I highly recommend the pork ribs. They are marinated in the house teriyaki sauce, and baked to perfection. They are super tender and the meat literally falls off the bone! Been there 3x's now. Service is real hit or miss! This last time I ordered 2 beef teriyaki & 1 chicken teriyaki to go. I watched as they prepped each meal one @ a time!! to my dismay. Buy the time the third box was ready to go the first one had to be cold!! The time before this the service was good. The place is clean and the food is great!! I was excited about going to eat here but was pretty disappointed. I bought a Chicken Teriyaki bento the chicken was dry with teriyaki sauce, the miso soup was cold and the tempura was NOT fresh. The girl taking the order was not very friendly or inviting she seemed BORED and whatever but thankfully nice. The owner was too quiet. The girl only cracked a smile when I paid and was probably hoping for a tip? Yea will my tip is smile from start to finish sweetie because I don't tip poor service. Not somewhere I would recommend. I come from a big city where service is when the owners and staff make you feel like home so you want to come back. I will say the California rolls were good so I give them a 2 star but I won't go back. read more
