Cute cafe with plenty of outlets. The prices are great. I got a black americano and it was just fine.

Super talented barista... The foamiest lattes and friendly service. This cafe beats most in the area.

But me and my mom found this place, and it's amazing. Yesterday, I drew the kind people working, and left it for them. Today, I came back, like we have for the past few days. The kind man offered me any item I wanted on the house, because they loved the drawings I did. I imagined they threw the drawings away, but to think they actually cared a lot about it made my week. Maybe even my month. A huge thank you to everyone who works here for being extremely kind and understanding. You gave me a place to be, somewhere I don't need to worry. Thank you. Now, for an actual review, the food here is very nice. All I really ate were the avocado toasts because that's all I'm familiar with, but of the two I tried, the supreme queen toast is the best. For service, the people here are very kind and attentive. Very respectful. And helpful, they will not make you feel stupid for having questions or needing a smaller menu (I have very bad vision for a 15 year old...). The ambiance is very nice. People are doing whatever they want or need, and don't care about you. Which is a good thing, especially for people who don't like loud or overwhelming spaces. Being open 24/7 is also very wonderful. Sometimes we're up late, after a day of forgetting to eat or just not having to the time to, having a place to eat and hang out is nice. It's also very cold, which is good because it's been very hot outside. Overall, this place is amazing. And I'm very sad to be leaving this area soon, but I hope I can come back again one day. I want everyone working to know how wonderful my experience was, and how much your kindness meant to me.

I ordered an espresso and planned to just sit for a bit -- ended up being there for about an hour. Out of nowhere, I felt like I was being pushed out. They started cleaning around me even though it's advertised as a 24/7 spot, and I was literally the only person there. It just felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. On top of that, they even charged me for water, which caught me off guard. Overall, the vibe didn't feel very welcoming. Maybe I just caught them at a weird time, but between the service and how rushed I felt to leave, it wasn't a great experience.

The coffee is good, though it would be nice if they didn't charge extra for non-dairy milk, which can feel unfair to people with allergies or those choosing plant-based options. I've also noticed that prices seem to have increased again! Overall, this is a place we enjoy and will continue to visit. We just hope they'll consider addressing these small issues.

I could have easily gone to one of the coffee shops I already knew but that simply wasn't a satisfying thought to be frank. I bothered to google search to find something new for me to experiment/experience. I did the right thing. Getting here was a bit tricky. My GPS took me to a different building which I knew wasn't the right place. I almost left without making any further effort but good thing that I remained resilient in my quest. At last, I finally came to the right building. "Is this a church?" was what I thought once I was inside the building. Well, precisely speaking, it's a grad school (Augustine Institute; if you get lost like I did due to my inaccurate GPS directions, put Augustine Institute in your map), an institution where students major in Catholic apostolate. But you need not worry what your religious views or background is. The coffee shop has a very welcoming atmosphere where all are welcome and accepted no matter what you are. Such feeling came when Jack, the kind and warm hearted barista upfront, not only asked me my name but also introduced himself to me like a good neighbor does. What an ice breaker it was to warm me up upon arrival. The customer service is simply impeccable here. I ordered a cappuccino. And to go along with the caffeine, I got me the ham & cheese croissant. And to enjoy this place fully I opted for dine in (as I was not in a hurry.) There was another young man upfront alongside Jack. That young man brought me my cappuccino to my table. Later, Jack brought me my croissant. I really liked the way they warmed up my savory. They used a panini maker to press it down so the croissant was flattened to fairly thin. All the ingredients were nice and warm to the right temperature. I still tasted the flaky croissant on the outside. I've never seen a croissant served like this so I found it to be very creative. My cappuccino tasted wonderfully. Whereas I do like the bitter coffee taste sometimes I prefer it to be mellowed out by whatever the dairy product they use so it's creamy to some extent. Since I asked for whole milk (as Jack asked me what kind of mild I wanted) the kind of milk I chose was just the right kind to make my cappuccino to be the perfection of artisan coffee. Quiet and cozy with comfort seatings through, my late morning coffee time was simply perfect.

The Hawaiian motif found around the place is just about as Hawaiian as it gets. The general vibe of this shopping strip is already laid back so that's how it felt even inside. The interior is inviting with a couple prints from Hawaii. One picture reminded me of Kailua while another one is a picture of a lifeguard station. I ordered an iced MacNut Latte. It was definitely tasty and made to order. I also ordered a chupacabra Bonfire burrito. Overall I enjoyed the experience and will be back soon enough. I walked in thinking I would grab a quick coffee. I walked out slightly reconsidering my standards. Let's start with the latte. Extra shot, because... life. And this wasn't just caffeine, it was precision. Smooth, layered, no bitterness fighting for attention. The kind of balance that feels intentional, like someone actually tasted it before handing it over instead of just pushing buttons behind a machine. And then the ham and cheese croissant. This is where things got serious. Flaky in that shatters just enough to make a mess but not enough to embarrass you kind of way. Buttery without being heavy. The ham had actual presence, not just a salty afterthought, and the cheese melted into it like it belonged there from the beginning. Indulgent without tipping into regret. And then... the pastry case. It is not a display. It is a trap. You think you have self-control until you are face-to-face with it. Everything looked like it had a point of view. Not just "we make pastries," but we care about what this feels like when you eat it.
