I've had previously ok service here. But the latest problem really upset me. I brought my car in because the heated seats werent working. I sat there for an hour or so while they checked it. They told me they had to order the seat from overseas. So I made an appointment after they got the part in and brought it back. I waited again, only to be told the part was wrong, and since it was installed after market by another dealer they couldnt even replace it at that dealer. This should have been very simple to realize when they checked by car the first time. I wasted a lot of time dealing with this without so much as an apology from the manager. read more

If I could give this dealer no star I would. I spoke to 2 salespeople over the phone whom gave me what I thought was a ok deal. I get to the dealer and they don't know who the salesperson is and that those salespeople had no authorization to give prices. They give me another salesperson( inexperienced) who now brings over an arrogant manager trying to take me for a ride with only deducting $400 off the msrp and tagging on crazy fees!! So I went there for nothing. They give you prices 9ver the phone just to get you there. Few days go by and another salesperson calls me. I told them I will not do business with them. She asked why, I gave her details. A manager called me a day or 2 later. Apologizing and trying to make things right. She told me she would help me to give her a few that she would get back to me. What's a few? I don't know. It's been 4 or 5 days. I haven't heard from her. In her defense, the car is hard to find. I'll give her some time. Keep you updated soon. read more

If you do business with Koeppel Queens Mazda, don't assume any verbal assurances or offers will be executed in your final paperwork. Be sure to check everything carefully. We made the mistake of going in a time crunch (we were overtired and needed a new car to leave on a vacation!). Our salesman, Francisco, unfortunately for us, left us waiting around most of the day and ended up telling us one thing and doing another. He folded the paperwork , and distracted us while we signed it, in such a way that we did not realize we were being hoodwinked. We feel foolish to allow ourselves to be tricked into paying a higher price than the "Internet" price we were emailed about by this dealership. Sadly for us, ethics, honest professional behavior, and valuing long-term customer relationships is not what we found at this Mazda dealership. The service department was the same way. Don't assume they perform the services as promised. Had to make a second trip there two days later because there were problems with all four tires ! read more

I had a really great experience with these guys. I called several dealerships to get a price for a Mazda3 and whenever I would come to the point of thinking that the deal was done, they would come in with something like "you need a senior citizen's discount to qualify for that price." Thankfully, Koeppel Mazda pulled no such tricks and the price I discussed with them on the phone was the price I paid when I showed up to the dealership. This was my first time here, and frankly will be the last time I come here ever. I walked in to get my A/C unit checked since it was blowing out hot air. 40 mins later, the service comes out to tell me about $1500 worth of repairs when I just had everything repair 2 weeks before I got there, so I know they were just hustling for my money. They assumed they were being helpful by telling me all his nonsense about parts of my car missing, and that if I didn't get something fix, my engine would fall out the bottom of my car...Yeah right... Then they tried to tell me to fix my A/C unit would cost me $687.94....what the hell? This is when it was confirmed to me, that they were just trying to take my money. I got my A/C unit fixed once before and the price was only $$60.00, so why am I paying $620 extra? I don't recommend this place to anyone, especially for the service part... Worst Service Department, I've ever been to. If you have a friend who knows a good service area that won't try to break your pockets, then go there and skip this damn place. We are buying a car from them because it is a competitive price and there's not a lot of them out there so are forced to buy from them. They make a big show of negotiating and getting you the price you want to pay but that is all a lot of talk, there was no negotiation whatsoever which is disappointing because I am a returning Mazda customer with excellent credit. They wouldn't even match another Mazda dealership's quote to install a remote starter! These guys are greedy about their commissions for sure. Buyer beware. read more

Brand new to the city, and was driving around on 4 bald tires and a broken side view mirror. They scheduled me an appointment, and on the day of, Lisa took care of me, the work was done the same day. To my luck I hit a nail the next day and they got me scheduled in as soon as I could come in. They plugged the tire and when it wouldn't hold air, Lisa got me in a rental and they ordered and mounted a new tire for my car with no expense to me, as a courtesy, and the work was complete the next day. Lisa was professional, and courteous and always knew exactly what was going on. I got my car back better than before and even got a free interior and exterior wash excellent service overall, and all I did as a consumer was smile and ask for help, Lisa did more than I could have ever expected. read more

Very dissatisfied with the way we were treated at koeppel Mazda. The receptionist was friendly when we arrived but everything was downhill from there. We were there to test drive and hopefully lease a cx9 and had scheduled an appointment. The salesgirl Rashelle was poorly trained. Provided no information about the model in the showroom, no attempt to talk us through any of the features. She spent most of her time on her phone. After the test drive we sat down with her to discuss pricing and the finer details of the lease. Having done some research to familiarize ourselves with leasing contracts we were prepared with some standard questions about fees, wear and tear, penalties etc. We were told that there were no fees due at the end of the lease, in her words, "we just hand in the keys and walk away". After going over figures, we arrived at our lease offer and left saying we needed a couple of days to think and that we would get back to her. Rashelle told us she would email the lease details to us which she did via a link, but upon reading the fine print discovered that there were actually some hidden fees. The next day we were sent an email thanking us for visiting and inviting us to open discussion with the sales managers who had an "open door policy". We immediately wrote an email querying the fees that had appeared in the fine print when we read through the written lease, expecting that a manager would respond quickly and work through our questions and then we would move forward. It was our intention to go ahead with the lease deal as long as our questions were clarified and answered. However, noone responded to that email at all. The following day we followed the link to review our leasing offer only to discover that the deal was no longer available. We immediately called to find out why the deal was gone and why noone had responded to our questions, inspite of being invited to open up a dialog. The sales manager confirmed that the deal was gone and that we would have to wait until August 1st for the new deals to come through with no attempt to explain the fees or answer our questions. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP. It's clear that they have no interest in working with customers who do their research, read fine print and ask questions. read more

The guy at this dealership was extremely rude I took the car to Khan's Auto Repair (Long Island City) and figured out in 15 minutes that it was the problem with the rim of my tire. Their service department used to be great and honest. On my last visit I went in on a Saturday morning around 7am for a simple oil change and to check my tire that's losing air and they gave me the biggest BS runaround ever. The intro: The service advisor ended up recommending a list of "problems" with my car. I asked if I can hold off on a few of those recommendations because each of them were expensive. He claimed it's really dangerous to continue driving the car if those problems aren't fixed right away so under pressure I said okay. Of course I left with a high bill. They ended up changing 2 of my tires because there was a nail in them and were not "repairable," my power steering hose because it was "leaking," looks like they changed my transmission fluid too, and gave me brake fluid service. The problem: Not long after, my brake warning lights turned on and slowly I started realizing my brakes weren't working properly. I had to step down further and further on them for my car to even slow down a bit, whereas my car would start to slow down immediately and allow it to come to a full stop when my normal brakes worked just by a small steady nudge. I called the service department back and they gave me a huge runaround. I have a tight work schedule and live in Brooklyn. I told them I needed an appointment for Saturday to have a followup on my car that they just serviced and my brake lights are on. They told me "No. They cant schedule me in because they dont service anything but oil changes and other simple things on Saturdays." Well I said that's strange, because I originally went in just for an oil change on a SATURDAY, but they worked on more than just that on my car. I told them that they did a brake fluid service on my car that I didnt ask for and now my brake lights are on. I told her my brakes are not working right. After a runaround between transferring my call to an answering machine and calling them back twice, the appointment clerk finally scheduled me in for 2 Saturdays later at 7am despite the urgency I explained. I reiterated that I live and work in Brooklyn with a tight schedule and that the appointment better sticks. They assured me I was scheduled in. Problem 1.5: They canceled my appointment on Friday around 5pm (extremely late notice) right before my Saturday appointment by leaving me a voicemail claiming again that they are unable to service my car because they only do oil changes on Saturdays. SERIOUSLY? They dragged my schedule out for two weeks just to give me that BS notice??? By the time I got the voicemail on Friday, I couldnt call them back to yell at them because they were already closed. So i woke up bright and early the next morning preparing to get my car serviced anyways because by now my brakes were so bad I almost got in a car accident. The severity of my brake condition needed to be addressed. Problem 2: I brought my car to the nearest repair shop that my friend recommended and at an immediate first glance, the repair guy said that my transmission fluid was black and that if it was recently changed, it should have been gold colored. He said if my hose was changed then the transmission fluid most likely should have been changed too. My brake fluid was EMPTY. One of my tires that was supposedly changed still had a HUGE nail in it. And my brake fluid was leaking out the entire time through that same tire. The repair guy said he didnt want to work on my car because it would make it hard for me to dispute the negligence and LACK of service that the dealership performed. Problem 3: So I called Koeppel Mazda back to complain and demand to speak to their manager. I wanted them to tow my car all the way back to their service center to fix their shitty job to justify the high bill they charged me. Again, they gave me the runaround transferring my call to an answering machine, making me call them back several times. They claimed their manager wasnt there. As always, "he just stepped out." They tell me they wont service my car because its a Saturday. I left voicemails for their so-called absent manager and director. I threatened to call corporate Mazda. Oh and guess what, although the corporate Mazda automated message says they include Saturday hours, when I called no one picks up and the call automatically ends. How convenient for this entire BS company. Thankfully for me, my friend's repair guy was nice and felt sorry for me so he fixed all the problems and gave me an extremely low rate with no labor charges. He ended my stress then and there, and said it was better this way because no one would ever win a corporate battle with the dealers. But it's absolutely NOT RIGHT that I had to pay extra out of my pocket on top of the HUGE BS bill that Koeppel Mazda charged me for services they should have performed properly. I should have just went to a local repair shop all along. I hope Koeppel Mazda gets shut down like the branch in Brooklyn did for their BS and FRAUD! read more

I was relieved when I learned that Koeppel Mazda had opened for sales online. Jim Mendez was a wonderful resource, working with me over email and answering all of my questions and concerns without ever having to set foot in the dealership until signing the deal and picking up the car. He and his manager Saiful negotiated a great deal for me on my preferred car and alleviated all of my concerns before, during, and even after the purchase. Although, making a purchase of this kind is of course not ideal in these times, Jim and Koeppel did absolutely all they could to ensure a safe and reliable transaction, and I am so appreciative for their assistance and support. Recently bought a 2015 Mazda 3 with about 14K miles. Took it in for the 15K service. I originally purchased my car in NJ so I also needed an inspection. Scheduled the appointment knowing I would get my plates the day before. Came in, they took off the NJ temp plates, did service and inspection and put my plates on for me as well as the registration. Took about 1 hour and I was on my way. There were two open recalls so we scheduled a week day for that. I came in with the car in the morning, also as for the infotainment system be upgraded to the latest version. Told me it would be ready at 5 pm, got a call at 3pm the car was ready for pickup. Both recalls and upgrade done. Planning to bring it in to have some accessories installed. Great service, great people. read more

This place is horrible!!! The managers are incompetent and takes the service takes forever. I brought my car for service and was told it would take up to 4 hours. I then requested a loaner car as I could not wait that long. They would not provide it. In addition the manager Mike Ciasco is a scumbag. He should be fired!! I had brought my car for a check up. 1st they mentioned that the car needs a diagnosis that costs $150 and the wait time would be at least 3 hours. I waited 3.5 hours until they finally arrived at the conclusion that my car needs 3 parts and the labor would be $150 an hour. So the cost of the labor would be about $750 because they thought that it would take approximately 4 hours of work plus the $150 for the diagnostic test. When the mechanic started working on my car, it was approximately 12pm. By the time he finished installing the parts on my car it was 2 pm. So basically if they are charging me $150 by the hour on labor cost, the cost for the time the mechanic actually worked on the car would have been $300. Anyway, the total cost for the parts was $330, the cost for the labor was $750, plus taxes $82. That's a total sum of $1164. I've never felt so ripped off before this. Now the mechanic says I need to come back in a few days to see if the car doesn't have any more issues. After all that, do you think I really want to go back. I feel like they like to manipulate numbers. Don't go there. You will regret it. read more

Wish I could review the full process but I've never seen a dealership so slow and incompetent. We ended up buying at a dealership in NJ because these guys just couldn't get our questions answered. It was like they didn't want to make a sell. My boyfriend and I were buying a car prior to our move to Texas, and while that detail complicates issues, they didn't seem able or willing to work around that to sells us a car that help us register in Texas. No other dealership seemed to have an issue with it, so I'm not sure what's wrong with these guys. They were friendly and had a good selection and offered a good price but weren't making it happen. We have great credit too so who knows. Lost a sell there. read more

First time I went in, I was there for about 4 hours, asking a bunch of questions, test driving the 2014 CX5, which I love by the way and just getting as much information as I could. This was my first time leasing and I also had to trade in my '09 Accord, the Floor Manager Saiful Islam and my Dealer Jim were amazing, so patient, so welcoming and most importantly so Honest, it felt like I was hanging out with family instead of purchasing a car! Definitely recommend going to Koeppel Mazda to purchase a car and make sure to see Saiful and Jim. Bought our 2016.5 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring last week and since then I never stopped telling all my friends and family of how happy and satisfied we are with the deal that we got and the whole auto buying experience. He gave us our space to walk around and get into the driver seats of the cars in the showroom. I am the type of person who asks a lot of questions. Francisco answered all my questions and explained to us the details and features of the car. After I found the perfect car, 2016 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring, I pretty much had my mind set. Saiful, the manager is also amazing. He is such a nice, caring, honest and funny guy. Not only he gave me a great deal, he also gave me the 2016.5 model (upgrade version of the 2016 CX-5) and we could not be happier. They even gave me a good trade-in value for my dodge car too. I have been to a few other dealers and have walked out with the strong sense that the sleaze from the sales department left a stench on my clothes. I found my experience here to be relatively straight-foward. Cassandra (sales rep) was nice and not too pushy. Manager was nice as well. The sales rep, Raul, was very knowledgeable and was well-versed in all the differences between the various CX-5 builds, which was very helpful in making a decision. We really liked the CX-5 so we came back for a couple test-drives and Raul was very patient and was happy to let us do the repeat test-drives as we tried to come to a final decision. My husband and I were dreading going through the process of getting into a new car lease. It's feels like jumping into a tank of sharks. As soon as I walked in, Raul asked if we were being helped and immediately said he would take care of. We were interested in leasing the beautiful CX-5 Grand Touring and trading in our Acura TLX. As soon as he started talking he put my nerves at ease. He was so upfront in telling us he is not going to be aggressive in his approach and try to pressure us into getting something we don't want. He took the time to walk us through the process from beginning to end and I never felt rushed at all at any point. The test drive was so pleasant and informative as he walked through all the features of the car. He asked us what our ball bark is and came back with a reasonable price that we immediately took since it was below our budget. He got the car detailed within a couple of hours and signed the lease paperwork right after. We left so happy despite the rainy day! He then followed up with us to confirm the Acura was delivered back and asked us how we were liking the car.
