Highly recommend for sushi and ramen in downtown Plymouth. Their new location (across the street from the old) was beautifully renovated. They consistently deliver good food and service. Recommend for a casual date night

    House ramen with chicken.

We went with a group of 3 for dinner on a Saturday night (5:30pm) it was about a 45 min wait, make reservations. The house chicken wings a must-order. Main Course: Hiuse ramen with chicken. Bowl was plentiful with broth and ingredients. The sizzling pork belly, and crispy chicken is outstanding. A bit awkward of a seating arrangement between the dining and the bar, the tables against the wall are not super comfortable and table legs make it tough to get into the booth, but everyone has access to two screens at the bar. There is a back area sushi bar. Cleanliness: Extremely, you see an open kitchen on the way to the bathroom and it is spotless. The bathrooms were also very clean.

Just another Rainy Day and a Rainy Day calls for Ramen and Dumplings, the best Ramen on the South Shore. Definitely got to check this place out if you have not been there.....10 out of 10.

One of the better restaurants in Plymouth today. Stylish decor with a lively atmosphere. Great service. Bartenders serving up creative cocktails. Bar is stocked plentiful. The food was great. I had the sushi which was delicious. My companion had the Burrito. Very tasty. We walked in on a busy Saturday night and found two seats at the bar. The service was great. Try the firecracker sushi. Really good.

It was so cold today felt like some spicy soup This was my 3rd time here and have had the same table every time. It's a comfortable place to have dinner, the service is quick and the food is good Plenty of choices and plenty of sake and soju choices

Dolsot (Stone bowl) Bibimbap (GF available)

Was just visiting Plymouth for a day and a friend recommended this place to me. I'm a sucker for good Korean food, and this place did not disappoint. No banchan though. I had the dolsot bibimbap, which I've actually never had before. I usually just get regular bibimbap at a restaurant. But the dolsot version was really good. It comes in a steaming hot pot and you have to keep kind of stirring the food around, especially at the bottom, so the rice doesn't stick. But it makes the rice very crispy, and everything nice and hot, which was really comforting on a rainy day. My husband got one of the ramens but he wasn't as much a fan of his dish. It looked like they used the cheap ramen noodles that are all squiggly. So he said it didn't taste as good as he was hoping. Service was pretty good though. There weren't that many tables occupied when we went, maybe 5 tops including us. Our waitress was friendly and relatively accessible. The restaurant felt a bit drab though. I'm not sure what it was but it needs more color in there or something. Overall, a pretty good experience, though.

Milk teas are okay, bobas are not even cooked right, lady upfront is rude and don't even smile. She looks like she's irritated that we were there to order drinks.

Sorry for the terrible photo but the meals were excellent just bad photography, probably because of the good wine !

We went here after going to the axe throwing place next for. We sat immediately at bar and had great service from Nina. We all really enjoyed our dinner and totally ate it all even dessert. Nina was very friendly and kept checking in on us. Was a great night and great for and great service I loved the dumplings so mucho

A friend recommended checking out Kogi Bar & Grill when we were discussing Plymouth dining options. Kogi was a vibrant restaurant with a very casual crowd and cozy decor. I would not say this is an elegant date place (not that they are trying to be), but it is a place to come for good flavorful food. We were seated right away on a Saturday Night and there were plenty of people working and they all worked well together. Our server was very attentive and there was great teamwork bringing out our food and clearing our various plates as we downed our shared orders. We started with Kogi Fries and they were fantastic. They are Steak Fries loaded with Queso cheese, bulgogi beef, scallions, onions, Gochujang Hot Sauce and topped with a fried egg. The fries were nice and crispy and the flavors just sung on our pallets. Not healthy, but highly recommended. Next the Umma's Rangoons came out (I ate one before I took the pic!). These were ok. Crispy Wonton with Crab Meat, Cream Cheese, & Curry. We love Rangoons, but these were nothing special as the wrapper was a little thick and hard, but the flavors on the inside were good. The Heart Attack Roll was DELICIOUS! Cream Cheese, Jalapeños, Shrimp Tempura, Crab, Avocado Tempura, Topped with Spicy May, Eel Sauce & Sriracha. The flavors were incredible and the whole thing was warm with a slight crisp. My wife is not a huge Sushi fan, but this was her favorite thing we ordered. The Chicken Katsu Ramen was ordered with a medium spice. I love a bowl with broth, noodles, veggies & protein and this didn't disappoint. We finished the whole bowl and we were picking up the scraps. Medium was the perfect spice level for us. I will be back as I need to try the Bibimbap! Check it out for yourself before a show at Plymouth Memorial Hall or if your looking for a cheap dinning option near the Plymouth Waterfront.

Garlic wings are delicious but when you get a dozen, you only get four flats. I'm curious what they're doing with all the other flats.

Food was poorly prepared. Soup was so salty it was intolerable. Won't return. Help was friendly but nothing overrides badly prepared food.

I ordered their harvest bowl which was really delicious, however the steak comes cold and i was charged $3 for not a lot of sweet potato, I would have preferred more sweet potato. I have now dined in once to get their house-broth ramyeon which is absolutely delicious. Decided since we were in the area, the lady and I would give it a go! Still the best available in the area IMO for non-AYCE traditional style. This is a nice antidote to what way TOO MANY "Asian" restaurants are like in the greater Boston…read morearea: slick, prettified and exoticized decor, inflated pricing and mediocre, bland and generally dumbed-down tourist food. This place is none of those things---the interior is simple and dare I say, well worn. But that's the whole point, you feel like you're in an authentic immigrant family restaurant, which it appears to be---a very very sweet and kind lady seems to be the only server in this place (we went on a weeknight, so maybe on a Friday/Sat/Sun it's more crowded and there are more staff) and her husband mans the cash register by the door. Old school! Food is solid and authentic, and refreshingly gimmick-free. What you see is what you get. Shockingly, the prices are about the same as in the Korean places in the food court at H-Mart down the road in Burlington...but you get more and better quality food! And they don't appear to have an alcohol license, which is kind of a good thing because they don't try to upsell you with their drink menu, which in Asian restaurants tend to be pretty lousy mass-market water-beers (sometimes just with Asian labels on similar swill) at craft-beer prices anyhow. Bimbibap was quite unique: rice was served on a separate bowl, while the actual main bowl was full of veggies and meat and egg. Very nice contrast to most places' bimbibap being 80% rice and 20% veggies/meat. Came with a small side of miso soup. UPDATE, one week later: Came back to try out the Korean BBQ. For 3 people, we ordered 3 of the BBQ menu items, came out to a reasonable $100 or so before tip since we just had the complimentary toasted brown rice tea (hyeonmi-cha) and ice water. It was just the right amount of food for an evening meal (more voractious eaters would probably want an additional 1-2 dishes) and the lady came to our table to cook the food for us, ensuring that nothing would be overcooked. The short rib was easily the best, followed by the bulgogi, and the squid with pork belly and veggies was pretty good not great (it was interestingly cooked over the open flame on a square of aluminum foil). Everything was perfectly marinated, tender and juicy. Ventilation was good, so our clothes did not reek of roasted meat afterwards---some places have weak fans, this one did not. Service was again impeccable, gracious and speedy...very nice warm vibes, not cold or perfunctory like some places. Will definitely be coming back for more!

Have tried many of the Korean restaurants in Allston and this, K Restaurant, seems to outrank them all! As for service -- indeed you pay first, but was a bit confused about the server/front desk who pretty much tell you to order before seated (choosing your own table), take your order, serve you with all the food, etc -- literally she handles all the customer service stuff -- wondering why she did not appear at pleasant or smile at all. Don't get me wrong, fully aware of wide range of personalities -- some appear more excited and enthusiastic than others others -- even without the the usual tipping at the end, and especially with the tipping at the end. Here, of course you pay -- and finalize your tip or no time before being served with your food, but still the server did not appear to greet or show those standard pleasantries expected all common in America ... She wasn't rude or anything. It just seems like she's not happy being there. Any event, just some thoughts here. Would definitely be back.
