There are many taco catering services and some are either 1) already booked a month in advance or 2) only do big parties with a 50 person minimum. So happy to have found Aden's via google search. I communicated with Ivan to finalize my taco package and he is super responsive via text and you get a nice screenshot of your order. I paid a deposit and reconfirmed the week of the event to make sure we were all set! Jason was our event person he showed up 10 minutes before the confirmed set up time, was very friendly and professional. Setup was quick and the cooking time was exactly the hour. He served for 2 hours and we provided a 6 foot table for all the accompanying condiments and toppings. Tacos were really good and we had plenty of leftovers (30 person package) that we fed people for dinner. Paid the balance in cash with a tip. My review is based solely on customer service. I must have called between 20 and 30 taco caterers for my event planned for next week, with very short notice I didn't have luck because everyone was booked! I was ecstatic when Aden's answered and said they were available! I immediately sent my order to them via text Friday night as he suggested and didn't hear back.. became concerned because these are details that need to be confirmed when planning an event. I waited until Saturday morning around 9:30 a.m. asking for confirmation with no reply.. I started getting stressed but still patient.. 3 pm came around and I asked if we were booked and waited some more.. around 5:45 he texted me with an apology saying he's been busy but "for sure" he would get the invoice to me by that night. At first impression, they were so quick to give us a quote for a customized taco catering order for our group of 30 guests. Not only were they priced well, but they has a wide selection of items from meats to desserts and more! They communicated well during the planning process. The day of the event, Ivan introduced me to the chef, Jocimar. Jocimar called about an hour before arrival to give an an estimated time of arrival. I found that attention to detail very important, as it allowed our team to relax and setup accordingly. Jocimar arrived promptly on time, and was so flexible with setup location. Aden's Taco Catering came in at one of the lower priced taco catering companies out there- but that had no bearing on their service and taste! I had a film screening with about 28 people, and ordered the 25-30 people tacos option from their website ($285). They cooked it at their place, and brought it to the venue. You got a choice of 4 types of meat or veggies. I chose steak, chicken, grilled vegetables and Hawaiian Pork (my absolute favorite!) Ordering was a piece of cake- very responsive and quick, no hassle. The delivery was around 45 minutes late, but that's LA traffic for you. Fortunately we were all having too much fun mingling to be terribly upset about that. I am very pleased that we have a bunch of leftovers to be devoured at home now. Everything was left with easy to close up/discard of packaging, so it was no trouble to pack it all into the car. I am very happy that I chose Aden's and would use them again! Thanks for making my event a success! *I will say that a $35 delivery fee made me far less likely to tip the driver, so the owner might consider that. read more

We had an outdoor birthday party at a park, and he came an hour prior to the start of our party for a 2 hour service that was an excellent amount of time for a party of 45-50 people to be served with this one man operation. There were 3 meats available: carne asada, al pastor, and pollo (chicken) all served on top of a corn tortilla with sides of red beans and rice. The condiments were radish, cilantro, white raw onion, and lemon slices. The sauces were red, green, and guacamole (which he gave for free). He had plates and utensils; and it was plentiful. There was acutal leftovers which my guests gladly took home and given the high prices of meat, it was good to know that there was extra meat for my guests to enjoy. The overall cost was $579.43 due to a 3% charge for using a credit card. The set-up and clean-up was super easy given that he was solo, and the cleanliness was very good given the current COVID situation. We chose the al pastor, chicken and asada for our meats but have also previously tasted their shrimp fajitas. The tacos were delicious!
