Lot's of reasonably priced items but the size selection is often poor and yesterday we drove all the way over to get a pair of vans. We were told they had our son's size but the guy was lazy and didn't give us the correct information. He didn't even want to check for us at all when we first called. Generally we can't find anyone in the isles to help you with customer service, just people ringing up at the front. I think Kohls will have to try hard to avoid becoming another Mervyn's/Kmart/JC Penny and try to be a bit more like Macy's if they want to success in this online environment. Visited service desk for an exchange, there were two lines one for online orders and one for returns and exchange, as I waited in the exchange line service personal kept taking people in line for online orders. when employee Noah finally took me I asked why did he take them first, his reply was he was told to take people with online orders first. I told him that was BS ! What if there's 10 people in line that we're waiting a long time for returns and someone walks up with an online order !? His reply was tough I was told by my manager to take online order people first. BS ! Not right ! You need a person strictly for returns and one for online. read more

Please consider eliminating the expiration on Kohl's cash. If it is really a "GIFT" to your loyal customers for shopping at Kohl's and not elsewhere, why do you take it back if not used? The underlying motive is to get the customer to come back to Kohl's and shop, however, the dangling carrot ( Kohl's cash ) is snatched away because we didn't come back to shop when Kohl's wanted us to shop. This morning I went to Kohl's and I saw these past they were on clearance one was for $20 the other one was for 15 they were both the same so I took the one pants that I want it with the other one that had the cheaper price I asked him if I can have the same price which was $15 the other one that I want it was 20 the only thing it was a little larger like for example it was small and I got a medium so they said they could not give me the price of the $15 because those pants were bigger now the smaller pants had a $20 tag on it and they put a $15 tag on top of it but dating put the $15 tag on the $20 one so their excuse was they couldn't do it because the pants were slightly bigger and do I know how much material does it use I was kind of offended with that remark and this was the manager that I spoke to I didn't want to argue with them so I just put everything back paid my credit card and just left so letting you guys know if you're bigger you don't get the same price even though it's the same pair of pants the exact same color but if you're a couple of size bigger than small or medium which I am a medium you have to pay more at Kohl's mind you go to the pants when they were not on sale they were for regular price the same price I just don't want to argue I was to upset so I decided just to leave very disappointed in Kohl's I'm very disgusted the way this was handled read more

Hate this Brentwood location so much that I spread the word to anyone who brings up shopping there and it has soured me from going to other Kohl's locations for fear of the same problems. Main issue is the HORRIBLE customer service. From the long lines anytime of day with only a couple checkout stands open to employees that dont seem interested in helping customers or even to be at work. Returns are all the way in the very back of the store and usually one person working who is slow and rude. And why are all the signs in the store in spanish? I know east coco county is very diverse but really this is America can I at least get some signs in English so us nonspanish speakers can figure things out too? I will admit the sales are good but the whole Kohl's cash thing is an old and annoying promotion going on all the time so it's nothing special. I prefer stores that offer sale prices to all upfront and easy no games with coupons, having to use the store's credit card, or Kohl's cash and only getting discounts on certain dates or times of day. I am a frequent Kohl's shopper, and unfortunately the Brentwood location is not up to par at all. The lines are always long and they seem understaffed. I'm sure corporate doesn't care because it will cost them more $$$ to put more staff in place. With that said, I have some advice for shoppers: stay away from Apartment 9 and Tony Hawk merchandise. Both of these brands I have previously purchase items and found to be cheap and worn out within 2 or 3 washes. I always find myself returning the items for store credit or a refund. Overall, I like Kohl's and tend to go there in other cities, but the Brentwood one is terrible. Everything will take you 10 times longer than any other location. I usually go to Kohl's in Chico, CA, and I think the management at the Brentwood location could learn a few things from Chico. Bought clothes on a Sunday afternoon, had fraud on my debit card at Kohls.com 12 hours later. My bank had my back, but I contacted corporate and the local store, and both groups didn't seem to care. The local store cared least. I had to explain things 6 times before they figured out what I was trying to say; and what I was trying to say is that they have a security breech either on the local (probably) level, or their database is being hacked- again. I love the clothes they have to offer and they're return policy but it's just not enough to compensate for the slow ass cashiers! I went into kohl's once when they opened years ago and never went back. Today I was given the option of returning my amazon items there so I figured ok I'll do that. I was returning a carpet cleaning machine so it was really big and heavy. I made it in the door and clearly i was lost. I pushed it till I got to the 1st employee I saw and asked where I go for amazon returns. She just replied "it's in the back" so I keep pushing this big heavy box not even knowing how to get to the back. They I get there and realize the store has carts! It would have been fantastic if someone along the way who say me pushing this large heavy box in a dress offered me one but nope. I wait in line about 15 minutes. The customer service girl was super nice and told me they are low on carts that's why I didn't see any. Ok. Then as I was leaving I stumbled through their Home Dept. some cute things, all disposable stuff and overpriced at the same time somehow. But I did see some things I wanted. A new pressure cooker, a new set of Henkel knives and fiesta ware actually. All on sale, but once again no cart, and not one sales person to ask a question. A very upsetting black friday experience at Kohl's. My wife ended up standing in line for an hour and a half. When she finally got to the checkout it was 2:05pm. They wouldn't give her the sale price because the sale ended at 2:00pm and didn't care that she had been in line for 90 min. Great deals for great merchandise. Fabulous customer service!! I found a top I loved but the only one in my size was on the mannequin. Lily took the time to get it for me. It was no easy task. She had to remove the arms & hands to get the top!! I also purchased several watches with link bands. Julianne removed some links for me so they fit perfectly!! I buy online alot. Since you can't try things on there are always returns. I have always had hassle free returns at the store. Lilly works returns also. She is fast and very sweet. I highly recommend this store!! Hit or miss! Things can be cheap but fashionable and other items can be a curious as to why it's expensive but poor quality in material ..

The store do not honor the sales clearance price on price tags. I found a pair of pants for under a dollar in the clearance section. During checkout, the cashier associate call a supervisor, then call a manager or loss prevention to verify the price. Without blaming Kohls fault for the error just to avoid selling me the product that cheap, they try to sell the item the customer at a new adjusted price. The cashier associate was also rude looking one by one, touching the clearance sticker over and over on the other clearance items I got just to make sure I did not put the sticker on there. The item has a original price of $56, overwrite new original price of $34.00, then Kohls clearance sticker of $3.40 and 76 cents FINAL PRICE. They claim $56 was the original price and it can't be 3.40, $34 off 90% and you get 3.40 plus additional discount. The store has different section of clearance items from 60%, 70% and 80%. If lucky, you do find expensive items for a few bucks. The prices is already way to high on clearance, on sale or the worse, paying the original price when compared to shopping prices at the outlets 20 minutes away or the near by Ross, 5 minutes away. Don't ever work here. When you are hired they never tell you that you get four hours and schedule you on some days of the week. After Xmas when they don't need you they stop scheduling you and don't tell you. I asked one of the managers why I wasn't scheduled and they lie to you and can't tell you your laid off. I had to be calling every week to see if I was scheduled. It's very expensive to shop there. Hassling workers to get customers a credit card. Too much work and low pay. read more

This location rarely has what's on sale in all sizes! Levis were on sale 2 days ago, went in with a coupon for 10$ off that was stuck to my newspaper, they said to order it at their "KIOSK" where you have to enter your entire address w/a huge screen-keyboard. They want your phone # and email address. Then you enter your credit card, and it wouldn't let me put in the coupon because it wasn't Kohls cash! Very nice clerk & customer service people who had no solution. If I ordered at KIOSK-free shipping, online at home-pay shipping! Infuriating. Spent 45 min not being able to get my jeans! They are lucky they get two stars, being very generous. The clothes when you can find them are generally nice. But I've had problems with the pants sizes being mislabeled. The customer service is terrible. If you can't find it yourself, your SOL. The employees are never around unless your buying something at the register, and when you do see a employee they don't know what they're talking about. I asked a lady about a dress shirt and she said she didn't know, didn't offer much help, and seemed more interested in socializing with her coworker then helping me. And the last two times I've been here the cashier, was not friendly at all and seemed rude to me. And whenever you buy anything here look it over real good because the last shirt I bought I didn't notice it was ripping around the collar and had a stain. I gotta admit, Kohls has made me a "clearance" fanatic! They always have so much great stuff on the clearance section is ridiculous! They are terribly over-priced if you buy something at regular price! but please! I beg you, sign up to their kohl's rewards, just give them your email and you will receive a 15% off coupon once or twice a month!! combine that with the awesome clearance prices and you got yourself a deal!! last week I came in when they had a "gold star clearance" week. Any clearance item had an additional 40% off on top of the clearance price and in addition I used my 15% off coupon! my bill came to be $55 and saved $297!!!! Kohl's FTW!!! P.S. I removed a star because on Black Friday, they had the WORST set up, their cashiers were slow! took me over 2 hours just to pay for a sweater! which was the only thing I got with black friday deals....No bueno. Get better at coordinating your black friday promos Kohls or don't do them at all! I decided to go into Kohl's at its Brentwood location one day, and I was surprised at how all of their jeans fit me in length! It is hard for me to find jeans that fit me because I am 4'11 and the only other place I can shop, is at Macy's. I always have a hard time finding items that I need. The store is always messy. When asking the associates for help in finding items that you are looking for, they have a problem finding the items also. This last time I went their associate was freaking out because she had 5 people waiting in line to get ringed up. She kept calling for back up and looked like a miserable puppy all stressed out. I feel that the managers need to train their associates in remaining calm during business rushes and not freak out. It is back to school season and there will be a lot of parents shopping for their kids school clothing and the associates need to learn to control the rushes and stop getting all tied up and stressed over easy controllable situations. Take a chill pill Serena, don't get worked up on a rush of 5 customers. Overall, the store just needs to get cleaned up and maintained picked up. The store never looks clean enough to find the things you need. The positive thing about Kohls is their sales and coupons. The manager honored our coupon without using our Kohls card because he informed us our payment would take 3 business days to process and the card would possibly decline if we tried using it for our purchase.
