This Kohl's is always well stock and have good sales. This one seems to be the cleanest in town, unless it is after Christmas (when it seems like Penny's apartment on TBBT.) Even for mid level attire, Kohl's sells quality stuff that won't go bad in a month. They are great for belts, socks, undergarmets, and everyday jeans, slacks, and shorts. Shoes for guys are hit-or-miss though sometimes there is something cool that catches my eyes; I am not big into footwear anyways. As I said before, Kohl's flows logically so you can get in and get out quickly. Unless of course your with one of those takes-their-time indecisive shoppers that seem too often to be of the opposite gender. I guess you'll have to catch the episode of GOT on Netflix. Sigh! 1 star. Never again. Kohl's told me over the phone they would honor my Kohl's Cash up to 10 days past expiration. I showed up a few days over, well within that window -- and surprise: denied. Apparently, customer service means "lie to your face, then shrug in-store." The store itself? Looks like a clearance rack exploded. Dirty floors, clothes scattered everywhere, and changing rooms that smell like forgotten coupons and regret. Staff barely acknowledged me unless I blocked an aisle or breathed too loud. Kohl Department Stores. I bought a toaster here and it was defective-it didn't toast evenly. When I returned toaster yesterday, $10 Kohl's cash was deducted from my return. I bought 3 items altogether on this one order. Mathematically, the Kohl's cash taken off toaster should have been $3.33. Kohls person said it is how the system is set up. Customer service person called over manager who had been talking to an older couple (which the conversation had already been going on for 15 minutes and it didn't seem to get resolved) and what she said to me didn't make sense.Only thing I can say to avoid losing Kohl's cash is only use it on one-item purchase and pick up item at nearby Kohls (so you don't pay shipping). read more

I have shopped at Kohl's in at least 5 states and the ones in CBus I have been to are not up to the standards I am used to from stores in Ann Arbor and Toledo. JUST WANTED TO find a classic tailored dress pants in gray and have real belt loops and pockets. I needed 16p. This was the 2nd Kohl's I tried. ONLY found 2 pair to try on, but either was just right. Ended up buying a pair of green pants that are pull-ups. Why this style so popular now??? Maybe they younger ones want to relive their young childhood? My experience with most retail stores is the same - a lot of useless stock (weird stocking stuffers that will just end up in landfills), never what you're looking for, no associates to be found, long wait times to check out and generally dirty conditions. Let's be honest, retail as we remember it isn't going to survive much longer. Ring, ring calling 911, a customer became unconscious at the store and we offered them water. 911 correspondent responds and sends an emergency car out immediately. While Mrs. Tammy is thinking how she can also help this person since she was just First Aid/ CPR/AED trained just last month. So she lets the Kohl's staff do their job and take care of the situation. Meanwhile, she has been a fan of this Kohl's for a while since they have almost everything she needs for every season. So she's always in fashion with her latest looks from here. Today, Mrs.Tammy stumbles upon the dresses for the spring and they are just so darn cute. She picks herself the most beautiful pattern dress she knows her husband will love. While getting a killer deal on a dress shirt for work. Mrs. Tammy has a hard time finding good dress shirts because of her clothes size nobody sells clothes that match her size at normal stores. So she has to go to stores that only sell petite clothing. Kohl's is just the place for this. Kohl's always knows how to treat their customer's well here. So if you ever have a question or they don't have what your looking for, just go up to one of their customer service people and they will be happy to help you. Today when I was there, within a half hour of opening, there were three customers inside with no mask at all. And this was a time with a lot of older people showing up. I usually have a great experience with the associates at this store, but recently had a problem with one of the "managers" Charu (I think that's what her name tag said) if that's what she is. If so, she shouldn't be one. I was at customer service and the associate helping me was very friendly. She had to page a manager multiple times, before anyone showed up. She was very sweet; she kept apologizing to me, but it wasn't her fault. Finally Charu shows up and is very unwilling to help, like I put her out of her way for doing her job or something. She was just downright rude and treated both the associate and I poorly. If anything, I feel bad for putting the associate in that position, if I had known how rude this manager was going to be to her own staff, then I would have never walked into the store. read more

Good location on Sawmill Road with easy access and plenty of parking available. A large size department store that focuses primarily on men's, women's, teens & children clothing. They have a good size home goods section. The store is clean, bright and laid out like most other Kohl's stores. As for pricing, I usually don't buy things unless they are on sale or have one of their discount coupons (especially the 20 or 30% off). Word of advice, never buy full price. They have frequent sales which often makes me wonder about their mark-up on their goods. They frequently push their own store charge card at the check-outs. If you pay them off monthly, its a good deal because they offer their cardholders extra incentives for buying. However, their interest rate is a typically outrageous rate like many store cards. read more

This Kohl's has been newly renovated and it looks great! We can always find what we're looking for and it's never TOO busy since it's not attached to an entire mall. The cashiers have always been SO pleasant and we had a great experience with one of the women working near the watches. My husband's watch stopped working and she spent about 20 minutes looking into what the problem was. We didn't even buy the watch there! After she figured it out, she told us to go to a store that specializes in repairing watches and explained to us what was wrong. SO helpful and she didn't even NEED to do that. I'd never been in this Kohl's before. My grandmother always took me to the one on West Broad. By comparison, while Kohl's tends to carry the same things at all of its stores, this one seemed a bit more up-scale. How, I have no idea, but it did. All told, a Kohl's is a Kohl's is a Kohl's. Can't really knock the store or the selection. If I need something snazzy for my otherwise gender-neutral look, I can usually find it. No need to go to someplace like Lazarus (oops, sorry, MACY'S for all you out-of-towners and kids who are too young to remember Lazarus) or J.C. Penney's and break the bank for one item. Also, Kohl's has sales that you really can't beat. I'm the kind of person who avoids the sale racks and heads straight to the clearance racks. Today, for example, I found a shirt that normally retails at for $8 at 80% off. I found a flannel jacket for $24 at 70% off. A winter coat for $60 at 70% off. This is stuff that would normally cost me over $300 at the till. I hate shopping! I hate bargain-hunting! And I struck gold today. What struck me was the sheer quality on the clearance racks. I wouldn't find stuff this nice on the clearance racks at the store on West Broad. The clearance racks at West Broad would be full of stuff your grandmother would wear. No thanks. I'm not into granny clothing now and I never will be. The gentleman who processed my order was exceptional. He joked with me, my mom, and my brother (who were in a different line) and he complimented my choice of clothing as if folks like me (gender-neutral and genderqueer folks, that is) came through his till every day. I felt comfortable enough with him to lament my inability to find "men's" athletic shoes that I can wear comfortably (I wear a men's 6 or 6.5 depending on the brand) and he peeked over the counter at my feet and said, "Darn, and we have some [brand] that would work for your look." Sir, you just made my day! The only thing that didn't sit too well with me was when we came in, I asked where something was and the cashier, who wasn't doing anything, flat-out ignored me. Went to kohl's to get a air fryer for my daughter. It was marked on sale for 79.99. I went to purchase and was told it wasn't the correct price. Two associates saw the product was listed at the 79.99 price but refused to sell it for that. If it is listed at a price the company needs to sell it for that. I think your store has the most unfriendly staff. I place an online order. 3 hours later I called because my husband was going to head that way. The store associates were clueless. Today I came in to pick up 2 shorts I had put on hold. The last at the desk made me feel like I was a inconvenience. Who I asked her where more of the items were located she said oh somewhere back there. I went to the area and asked 3 other associated for help but once again clueless. 2 laddies tried what they could.. I will never shop at this Kohl's store again. I had a pair of new sandals (Skechers Yoga Mat brand, $28.00, Women's, black in color, size 11) to return. The strap completely broke off on one side. So this afternoon I went in to return them at Kohl's on 6063 Sawmill Rd. in Dublin, OH. 43017. At the customer service desk, I spoke with a friendly young lady working behind the counter. I did not catch her name, but she was young, in her 20's, and had brown hair and brown eyes. I explained to her that I didn't have a receipt and asked about the return policy if I didn't have the receipt. She looked at the sandals and asked me where the product's store item number was. I went on to explain that the number(s) had been on a sticker on the bottom of the shoe. However I removed the sticker once I wore the sandals. She told me it was "no problem" and instructed me to go ahead and get a replacement pair and come back to the customer service desk. It turned out that this particular store was completely out of all their Skechers sandals. Every single pair of Skechers sandals were gone, sold out. Then I asked another employee on the floor if they had any more women's Skechers brand sandals in stock and she said no, not if its not out over there. So I improvised and found a similar pair of Juicy Couture brand women's wedge sandals, same original price, size 11 and black in color. Once I went back to the customer service desk, I had a different employee helping me. He is Kohl's Assistant Manager. I forget what his first name was but I did notice that his badge said 'assistant manager'. He has brown eyes and extremely short brown hair (shaved), appears to be young as well, in his late 20's or early 30's. I explained my situation. He told me that he couldn't exchange my broken sandals without a tag with the (product) number. I asked him twice if he could type in the name of the product and search in his store's computer database. He told me "no, there is nothing I can do". I don't believe he couldn't help me in locating the product Skechers number. I don't believe that one bit. I was very shocked and disappointed as you can imagine. Finally I thanked him and he thanked me in return (?) and I left my broken shoes on the countertop in front of him along with the other replacement pair that I had chosen. I left my shoes at the store because I do not plan on visiting any other Kohl's stores in the greater Columbus, OH area, in hopes of finding a courteous, knowledgeable Customer Service employee. As I walked out of Kohl's empty handed, I thought about the fact that I am not going back to shop at Kohl's ever again. I deserve better. Simple as that. The assistant manager at Kohl's put zero effort or energy into helping me with my return. I doubt he is truly that incompetent in doing his job as an assistant manager at Kohl's. Or maybe he is. I'll never know. Maybe his laziness will come back to bite him at some point. Maybe not. read more
