My last review was around this time last year; I had to stock up on baby clothes and an outfit for Disney-Day at the daycare. Here we are, a year later, and I'm looking for new shoes for my toddler so he can run around fast and not have his little feet smushed. The shoe section for all ages and genders will be on the East-entrance (nearest to the Mattress Firm and Chipotle.) The options for toddlers is small, but they are all good brands. We opted for StrideRite 360 due to toddlers having wider feet and they offer a good foundation. My husband was also looking through dress shoes for himself, which also had a good variety. We did end up circling the entire store to find the price check scanner. They have all been removed! I ended up just using my phone to scan the bar codes to see what came up. The holidays are in full swing and the deals are HOT. If you are an early bird, you should go in asap to start getting your presents. The toy section was overflowing with a variety of toys. The store itself is clean and well-organized. They have been a lot of upgrades since my last few visits. They have a full functioning self-checkout area now but they still have cashiers available as well. read more

Very poor customer service and rude! I needed to exchange a pair of shorts for a different size. Of course they didn't have my right size so figured I'd get a gift card so I could order online. Girl at customer service said all I could get back was $1 because I used kohls cash to purchase. Makes zero sense that you can't exchange/retun items that don't fit if you use any kohls cash to purchase. So now I'm stuck with a pair of shorts that don't fit because they can't keep inventory in their store. Such a terrible system for their kohls cash. read more

Last night with my daughters I bought some school supplies. My daughter picked out a pencil bag and when I scanned it and handed it back to her, she thought I told her no she couldn't have it so she put it back on the shelf so this morning, I came in with the receipt. Let them know what happened not knowing if they would even help me, but they went above and beyond checking their inventory and letting me get the missing item and they did it all with a smile best customer experience. read more

Just a heads up. Everything was going so well, but Capital One, who issues the Khol's credit card, just informed me, via a letter, that if I do not accept their VISA with a 31.26% APR, my Khol's card will be cancelled. So, I called Capital One. I thought. I do not need another VISA, but I want to keep my Khol's card, but that is not an option. That is so messed up. I pressed on and was told that my Khol's card would be cancelled, but I can reapply after September 16. I guess my dollars are no longer 'money green". read more

I like that Kohl's has convenient drop-off kiosks for Amazon Returns. It is its own section located in the rear of the store past the customer service area. Note; The Kohl's customer service area can only be used for returning Kohl's purchases. Amazon returns must be done at the designated kiosk. The Amazon return kiosk is quick and easy as long as you have the QR Codes ready for scanning for each item you are returning. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Kohl's has great sales from time to time and coupled with Kohl's Cash can get you merchandise for cheap. Shoes are usually a good deal when they are on sale. There is often clearance items in all departments that can be good finds. The store seems fairly clean and organized every time I come in. The staff wears masks and has safety barriers up at the registers. Lines to check out are marked for distancing. read more

The process at Kohl's are so excessive and the quality is from China clearly. They have limited employees and the ones they do have which was a cashier at the front of the store was so rude to me. I looked her in the eye and said you are rude and her answer was I'm just trying to explain. I said there's no need to be rude. I will never step foot in that store again and I know they filed chapter 11 or 13 already and I can clearly see why. Their sales regular retail that's how much they mark their crap up. I only go here for Amazon returns and they are fantastic! As long as you don't get stuck behind some bored housewife type who buys on Amazon all day long, then returns 40 things at the same time (each with its own return code) it's like a rocket ship getting in and out of a line. Thanks Kohls. Way better experience than going to UPS. I don't need to print a label or box or tape anything up. Usually I walk right up with no line. Don't go when they first open the store. Go mid to later in the day. They always give me discount coupons which I toss as I don't buy my clothes there. read more

This is probably now my favorite Khol's locations. Even with the protocols, they are trying (kind of)! I had some online orders I needed to return. I will note the customer service desk is inconvenient, located by trekking over halfway through the store (why?!)... but there was no wait. And plenty staffed to help whomever walked up after I was being helped. The return transaction was very easy. One was an exchange- also very easy. What I did not like: I was given a coupon of "Khols Cash" for the balance difference in price- literally forcing me to come back & spend it or be screwed out of $3 I had paid before something went on sale (which happens every 24 hours, it seems). And that is not the fault of this location, but aggravating to a customer who wanted a full refund or exchange- not told they have to lose $3+ unless they opt to buy something else. But overall- I did browse on my way back out. And I did end up finding a few items that I needed & suited. The entire store was very well organized & maintained. I didn't have an issue finding the right size or anything... but the major downfall is you can't try anything on. That is a plus for the business, because most (like me) hate having to trek back for returns. But- I can also say it has been such an inconvenience I'll try things on in the middle of the store or opt not to purchase altogether. If a dressing room can't be open due to COVID, why is the store open? Ridiculous! Either way- I was able to find a few shirts & FINALLY a pair of jeans after multiple returns. A bra... yeah, that's a major downfall. Kind of weird other stores will allow bra fittings but I can't even try one on, here? But, I'm not coming back until I can make my trip a one & done by being able to access a fitting room. It's not worth the cost in time + gas. And the "rewards" expire before you even get the chance to go back (the very next day, conveniently). Maybe change some things up. Ordering online isn't great when you have to return half of it. And shopping in-store may as well be the same if you can't try anything on. read more

I visited this store as I had an Amazon return. Kohls is not for me as I don't like their clothing or other offerings. I did look around as I was there anyway. It really depends in how you are approaching people yes it is their job to help but don't take advantage as a customer. I love this location. I feel that the store is really clean and the clothes are very nicely organized. I like being able to find the things I need or want quickly without having to play scavenger hunt. The staff seems friendly enough. I haven't had an issues at the registers. I noticed that they sell ASU Sun Devil branded items, which is kinda cool since I would imagine that it would be cheaper to buy it there. Overall for Kohl's, I love this store because they always have coupons for further discounts off of already discounted items. They provide really nice and good quality products from good designers for a really reasonable price. This is the only place that I can find Lauren Conrad clothes so this is pretty much where I buy the majority of my clothes. Apparently, I am obsessed with her stuff. read more

I was completely impressed with this Kohl's. It was nicely organized, clean, and well maintained - including the restrooms, which are the real test, in my opinion. There was plenty of merchandise and it wasn't all over the floor and blocking aisle-ways. The store is surprising large - I wasn't expecting it to be as big as it was when I drove up. This isn't the closest Kohl's to us so I'd not been to this location before, but I'd definitely come here over the one in Chandler if I just had to go to Kohl's. read more

Went to do an Amazon return, great service, on the way out I saw a pair of jeans marked 80 dollars, but looking at the tag it had a clearance tag of 50% off. I took it to the register and the jeans rang up as full price, the cashier couldn't change the price to the clearance price without a manager's code. She was very nice, but after calling for help over 7 times over the loud speaker and her in ear piece, the manager didn't show up for over 20 minutes. Not only this, the manager looks and said they're not going to honor the clearance price because it didn't ring up at the clearance price. I don't think I'd shop there again. read more

A Emril Lagassee 360 oven/ air fryer/ rotisserie with many other features however when l received the oven it was missing MANY pieces including rotisserie pizza racks catch tray roasting pan in essence almost all accessories called kohls many times with the assurance that the problem would be Resolved nothing has been done to resolve problems tried call tri star. To really save at Kohl's, you gotta take the plunge and sign up for their credit card. But they make it worth your while and send you all sorts of coupons and discounts and whatnot. However, there is a learning curve of sorts... This is the second time I've had to go to their customer service department to correct things on my original purchase, but they made everything right pronto. Here are the salient things you need to know to claim your Kohl's discounts: 1) When you get a sales flyer/magazine in the mail from Kohl's that says you can save an additional percentage off of the upcoming in-store sale, peel off the sticker to reveal your additional savings (usually 10%, 20%, or 30%) and BRING THE MAILER WITH YOU to the store. I didn't realize I had to do this once because I thought it would get deducted automatically when I used my Kohl's charge card... but no. I had to return the next day to get it resolved. 2) When approaching the checkout at the Kohl's store, PRESENT YOUR ADDITIONAL DISCOUNT and/or COUPONS FIRST. I got an inexperienced cashier who never asked beforehand, rang up all of my merch, and then looked a bit flabbergasted when I dropped the discount code on her. She tried to key it all in again and even had a manager come over to approve, but actually only applied my discount to one of my many items. I came back the next day and got it resolved. 3) It may take a day or two for new transactions to register on your on-line Kohl's charge card account. I like to pay my balance down to zero right-quick, but sometimes after I've had to correct a transaction with customer service, I have to wait for the balance to be updated. I'm not bothered too much by any of these issues (although it is why I'm only giving 4 stars and not 5), because I have found tremendous savings at this and other Kohl's stores. In my opinion, this Gilbert store has one of the better inventories in the men's department. I can almost always find my size and they seem to be very efficient about getting tried-on clothing refolded and back onto the racks. Case in point: I stocked up on polo shirts recently. Retail price came to an average of $36 per shirt. Kohl's Father's Day sale prices brought the average down to $17.15 per shirt. Apply 20% cardholder special discount and the price was $14.16. I've paid more for T-shirts at other stores! Total savings on this trip was $183.89. Kohl's put the "disco" in discount. Think I gotta dance now... read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. It is amazing how surprisingly rude everyone I've spoken with at this location has been these past 2 days. Not only are they curt in their answers when I was looking for an explanation, they were dismissive towards my concerns and myself, as a customer. I purchase things from Kohl's all the time, usually in bulk around the holidays. Whether it's for delivery or pick up, it's never been a hassle or bother. I usually leave in a better mood than when I get there while in store. I recently made a purchase online(right before xmas) with 1 item being available for pick up at this store. I picked up multiple items just weeks before so I figured the process would be just as smooth this time. Because i had to unexpectedly go out of town, I would return later than my pickup window. I called the store to extend it by 2 days. I've done this in the past many times, so again, I figured it would be no issue. I called yesterday and spoke with E. When I asked to extend my pickup window, I was told E didn't know about that and to call CS instead. As I was already on the phone with someone and having called the store in the past for the same help, I asked to speak with someone else to help me as E was unable to/ didn't know how to help. A manager named H came on the phone and confirmed what I wanted to to get done and told me that they could extend it for 2 days, though also displayed a bit of annoyance at my request. I thanked H and hung up promptly, because it was holiday return time and probably hectic. About 30 mins later, I noticed an email declaring that my pick up item was picked up. Confused, I called back to the store and was told by E that they couldn't extend the pickup window so they had to mark it as picked up and it would be returned by CS at some point. I could not wrap my head around the fact that the store would mark an item as being picked up when it was not. I kept asking if it couldn't be extended, wouldn't it stand to reason that you would just let it time out and refund automatically? The marking of an item as being picked up when not seemed off and incorrect. I tried to express that there was no guarantee on my end that the item would ever be returned by CS and that should the item be lost in the multitude of returns, I would not be protected. E then told me that there was no concern for that. Seeing as I was getting no where, I asked for a few names of those to ask for to followup , hung up and continued waiting for a return email that has yet to come. Today, a day after my last call, I still had not gotten a return email. I called back to the store and spoke with A. After I explained my question about the return email, I was told that no, actually, the item is still there waiting to be picked up and will not be returned. Even further confused, I asked what she meant and explained my conversation with the other 2 previously. A was just at curt and said H already told me that she would mark it as picked up and keep it to the side for pick up at a later time. I was never told this by H and I expressed as much to A. I told her that E told me that it was being returned by CS because they could not extend my window. A continued repeating that I was the one that wanted to extend it to the 30th right? I confirmed again but continued to express my confusion over the whole experience and lack of communication (or miscommunication, more like) This time, A rudely said there were 2 options, I could either come pick it up or have it returned and that it was my choice. Feeling pretty affronted by her words, I opted to have it returned. She said that she would do it over the phone with me and still, I've yet to see the return email come through, an hr later. read more

I was lied to by an employee at the cash register. Amanda T. She told me I could save 15% on my purchase by applying for a Kohl's card. And then she stated it wouldn't be a hard inquiry on my credit. When I said "Are you sure" she said yes. It was a soft inquiry and wouldn't show on my credit report. Low and behold the next day I'm getting notifications from Experian stating there was an inquiry on my credit report. I called the store manager and she said this wasn't the first time this same employee has told this to a customer. And that the last customer worked for months trying to get the inquiry removed from her credit report. I tried to dispute it with Experian and they said I had to go through Kohl's credit dept. I have called Kohl's credit dept. three times in the last few months and I get the run around from them. So I am here to warn other customers.....Do not listen to the employees when they tell you that if they run your credit it won't show as a hard inquiry on your credit. It's a lie...... read more

I was denied using my Kohl's gift cards at Kohl's Ahwatukee however I present the same Kohl's gift cards at Kohl's Northwest Gilbert. No problem. No pushback. No fake manager on a power trip. This store lures people with discounts,coupons, promotions,kohls cash,percentage offs, email rebates and what not.I recommend understanding all the offers and discounts and reading the fine print before getting too excited. The deals that they have if used wisely can save you a lot of money.You don't have to be a member to get most of the discounts.They always have some additional discount in the store and the clearance section is decent. Also you get kohls cash for every $50 after discounts, the catch being this cash has to be used within a certain time period (that keeps you coming back even if you don't really need anything). I also recommend getting the kohls charge card for additional discounts, they keep sending promotions in the mail.The Merchandise is decent and some brands are excluded from all discounts. Since they won't let us try any clothes on, we have to try them on at home and bring them back when they don't fit right. Kohl's is definitely one of my go-to places for clothes shopping. They always have amazing deals and who can pass up all that Kohl's cash? I'd recommend getting their store card because the constantly send you coupons in the mail for percentages off your total. They also do in store pick up or deliver straight to your door. I think they have great styles and always an array of sizes for everyone. I'm hooked! read more

I originally said no to applying because I was in a hurry; however, I was talked into it by the woman checking me out when she said it would apply a 10% - 30% discount to my purchase whether I was approved or denied. I have no clue what happened to this store it was a total train wreck while looking through the store it was a mess. Granted it is the weekend and Memorial Day is on Monday. I found all that I was looking for with tons of associates walking past and not saying a word to me. I was cut on the arm by one of the fixtures that was cut like a shank.
