I'm willing to put up with shopping at a filthy, unorganized store such as this, in hopes of finding some bargains... BUT, when the bare minimum customer service doesn't exist, that's where I draw the line.... I walk in tonight and I'm 3rd in line. One cashier (a young man) is the only one checking people out, while the two girls standing behind him loudly bicker back and forth for about 10 min about who was charge based on their title. I stared at them unsure if they were fighting or what. Apparently they were just kidding with each other and perhaps thought it was funny to completely ignore the people in line while the poor new kid did all the work. It's almost my turn, and one girl finally says to the other "can you check her out" and I step up, I told them both that whatever that was, was very unprofessional. It's all that I said. Her response??? "Sorry but he's training".... I'M SORRY WHAT?!?! 1) What does training have to do with the fact that you are both yelling behind the cash wrap? 2) If you're waiting on my turn, given that I have a return to show the new hire how to process it, then communicate that to me! I don't mind waiting if someone is truly apologetic and takes a second to acknowledge that I'm standing there. If I were that new hire, I'd never come back. My issue wasn't having to wait in line, my issue was their inconsiderate behavior and lack of respect and acknowledgement, and it needs addressed. A simple "hi", "I'll be right with you", or "thank you for your patience" goes a longgggg way!!!

I had not shopped at Old Navy in quite some time. I drove up to Liberty Center to meet my daughter…read morefor a fun meal at Northstar Cafe. Old Navy is conveniently located in the mall just across the street. I was in need of several pair of new pants specifically corduroy pants. Upon entering I walked to the rear of the store to get to the men's department. Back in the right corner was a clearance rack with pants on it. Corduroy pants! Behind that was the changing room. Also they actually had my size in several colors. I found and tried on a black and a gray pair. They fit which was great news! While in the back of the store I spoke to a friendly and helpful employee. He kept track of my pending purchase as I went to the men's bathroom. The sign said you can not take clothes in there. When I was ready to leave the same employee directed me to the moveable checkout counter on a rolling cart near the front of the store. I got 2 pair of pants for less than $12 each. In less than 2 minutes l was walking out to the mall again feeling very satisfied! If you find yourself at the mall at Liberty Center check out this store.
