I have been coming to this Kohl's for two years now. The floor is always clean and stocked. I admit it's not easy to keep a retail location stocked and organized but they do a great job. Even during the holidays they worked hard to take care of the appearance. The sales are my favorite part. Of course. They offer great deals and I can always find my size, which is normally a pain. My size is one of the first ones to sell out, but they restock it quickly. The latest fashion is available as well as some good treasures from last season. We shop here for me of course. My husband and 5 kids, we are always in need of something. We buy it all here. Clothing, shoes, bedding, suits, dresses, active wear, toys, picture frames, books, stuffed animals and the list goes on. The best part of this location has to be the staff. Every time we come in they are really polite. We have been greeted by door greeters who were polite. We have talked to managers that were walking around. We have had sales people help us locate items. We have spent a lot of time at the register; making payments and buying new things. They are always kind and polite and that goes a long way. This location became my favorite because of the staff. It will keep me coming back too! read more

Kohls offers great sales but make sure you keep a hawkeye on the sales ticket and don't swipe your credit card before everything's been rung up. When the buy one get one offer you were expecting doesn't go through, they send you back to customer service to get your money back. The line on a Wednesday night at 7pm was 6 families deep and took a ridiculous amount of time to move. But this was a $20-30 mistake on their part. Honestly, where do I start. I rarely shop at kohl's I just come here to return my Amazon packages when necessary. I walked up front to the Amazon drop off spot and came in contact with one of the workers he was an average set Hispanic guy with black hair at an ear length. My interaction with him was just negative for no reason as I only said 3 words to this guy. He said very rudely "put your item in this bag" I did and he proceeded to move very slowly so I asked him if he was done and he said very aggressively "NO" so once he was done he gave me my receipt but ripped off the 25% slip they usually give with the confirmation at the bottom. When he handed me that half receipt he said "now I'm done" I walked off and it didn't click to me until I got in the car. I contacted the manger to inform her she apologized. This was feb 10th when I returned my item, so last week I went to kohl's and spoke with the manger again and told her I don't think that employee returned my item due to whatever issue he had with me and she said as long as I got a receipt confirmation he returned it and I would get my refund, so I said okay. Waited a bit, so today I decided to get a hold of Amazon (Feb 25). Amazon told me that the confirmation I provided was invalid and the employee never returned my item. I was furious at this point I went up to kohl's and spoke to the manger when she scanned the code she said herself "oh yeah he didn't return it" like??? I knew that. Are these the kind of employees you should keep putting on the schedule???? He clearly did this on purpose! This has never happened to me EVER and for some strange reason this guy "forgets" to return my item but handed me a receipt, it doesn't make sense. The manger then apologized on his behalf and said "it usually is busy so he probably just tossed it to the side and forgot" so I told her no that's not what it was, he purposely did not return my item for whatever reason he had weather it was my skin color I'm not sure because the way he talked to me, no one should ever be talked to like that. I will never go back to this kohl's again to shop nor to return any items in the future. They need to fire this employee he doesn't deserve to work in customer service, not with an attitude and lack of worth ethic like this. Who knows who else he's done this to? Kohl's you have to do better, apologizing and giving a cash credit will not ever bring me back here. I manage a hotel and fire/ hire employees and if he was one of my employees and done this to a customer he would be out no exception. Anyways my experience here was horrible, would never go back again, I don't recommend it. These people here seem not to really care and that's beyond me. read more

I like to go to Kohls to buy basics like my husbands underwear and socks. I wait for there sales and coupon. I don't like to buy anything full price there because they always have sales. The quality of there jockey underwear and socks are better than the ones I have bought at the outlet. You have to pay attention to there ads because sometimes the prices don't reflect the ad. They tried to charge me full price when they were on sale buy one pack get one 25% off. The only reason the clerk believed me was because I had the flyer and I had to show her. read more

Not a shopper...I would almost rather have teeth pulled than shop for anything, but this is a great store. Clothes for every style and occasion, for every family member, with brand names I recognize but don't much care about. This particular trip was for sneakers and I found three decent pairs of Fila (memory foam baby!) for a little less than $100 which is totally reasonable for my daily jaunts around Ventura. I did happen to look in the housewares and was amazed at all the shiny things one needs in their kitchen these days. Little twinge of regret my kitchen is not set up for things like preparing and cooking stuff. Until recently, it was just the room I walked through to get to the rest of the house. Alas, one day, those shiny gadgets will be mine. Some useful information: Very liberal return policy on items bought in store or online. Plus for me. Ten dollar Kohl's cash for every $50 spent but it has to be used on a return trip in a limited time frame. Negative for me since I seldom buy anything new. Convenient location and not usually crowded during a weekday morning. Also a plus for me considering the limitations of my daily companion. Made the mistake of giving them an email address and have messages every day on how much I could save. Negative for me even though it's one of the "throwaway" addresses I give out because everybody wants one these days to do anything. Credit approval (or rejection) is immediate. Plus since it didn't take more than a couple minutes to fill out the application. read more

This store is very messy. You'll find it clean once in awhile if you go during the week and early in the day. I don't shop there for myself since I do not like the clothes but my daughter loves the clothes there and shoes so I take her. Today I went into the fitting room (toddler section) and the carpet is so disgusting! I went into a fitting room and there was old greenish poop on the carpet! I don't know how Kohl's does it, but I always have something positive to say about this national chain. I haven't been to a bad location yet (this one included). Every time I go into one of these stores, there is always some type of sale or promotion going on. If you search through the racks and aisles, there are some great bargains in the rough. It can be a little pricey at times (especially if you like buying name-brand items), but sometimes the scanners tell a different story (for example, the label might have a clearance price of $10, but when scanned, it's slightly lower than that). In addition, this is one of the few chains where it's worth signing up for a store credit card. At least you will get coupons, and (unlike other department stores) you can combine them for more savings (e.g. you can combine a $10 off coupon and a 30% off coupon at checkout). Thus, if you are looking for deals on name-brand merchandise, try Kohl's before hitting the mall. read more

Terrible customer service AGAIN. Ask a cashier if I could take the pants off a mannequin, she said no, she would call someone to come over. 10 min later I'm still waiting. Ask the cashier if she could hold them for me, if someone came over, so I could shop instead of standing around waiting. She said she couldn't have anything to do with it! ???? 5 min later the lady came over and told me nobody in the store is allowed to touch mannequins, and I should have been there before 2:00 because the lady who dresses them leaves early. Had a good experience here tonight... picked up some workout pants through an online order around 6pm and 30 minutes later I got a notification they were ready for pick up. I was expecting to get them the day after since it was already after 5pm. Sierra helped me in the back in customer service and she was really nice and knew a lot. Offered to have me open up a credit card because I bought another pair of pants and some shirts which saved me some money. I asked if I could exchange the pair I just bought online earlier to save more money and she totally did it for me. Also helped me pay off my new credit card after all of that so I didn't have to worry about paying it off later.... just good experience and a nice and helpful employee. Thank you. read more

I come here for the Amazon return counter which is fabulous, there are hardly ever any lines maybe at most two people. The service is quick and easy unlike going to the post office. I mainly have 2 words. Phone etiquette. I recently called colts to let them know that 1 of their shopping carts was way over by sharkey's. The 1st time when she answered she barked at me is that I can't hear you in a barking tone. So I hung up and redial. When I got her again and told her where her shop where the shopping cart was did I get a thank you know did I get anything instead she just snapped at me and said OK I'll send one of our associates over. Now maybe she was not meaning to be harsh, But calls should teach anyone who is answering their phone a little bit of phone etiquette in common courtesies like thank you for letting us know that we we will send one of our associates right over to get it. You see I've worked in retail most of my life and I know how expensive those carts are. And I'm a loyal customer of calls so I don't want the prices to go up because shopping carts get stolen or damaged. A little bit of common courtesy would have went a long way with me. read more

In last couple of days I went to Kohl's twice to look at some wedding bands and was quite frustrated with the quality of service I was provided. The first time I waited and waited and never got to try anything on, because the only associate at the department was too busy running around doing something else other than helping customers. The next day I went I spent several minutes by the counter waiting for the same associate to just get off the phone and finally notice me. But that did not go well either, for when she finally did get off the phone and notice me she proudly announced that she needs to go and take care of something for that same phone customer! Isn't that what the MOD is for?! I worked in retail for years myself and know a simple rule: customer at the store is the priority. So anyways, I waited some more and then left, because could not wait any longer...Very disappointed. That place is VERY understaffed and employees need to have a better training in customer service and manners. read more

The employees here are always super attentive. Which is great since Customer Service is a huge plus for me. But the reason I rated it 3 stars is because when I shop I feel like it's suppose to be a huge stress reliever and at this Kohl's I don't feel that. There's misplaced clothes all over the place. The clearance section is alway so messy. It stresses me out to a point that I don't even want to shop. They need to add more people to their recovery team and make sure the clearance section is constantly getting organized. That's my personal recommendation. That would change my rating if they can do that and keep it up. read more

Kohl's does have some good deals, i'll give them that. I am not always in love with some of their merchandise, but pt beggars aren't choosy. I pretty much scan the clearance areas for the best deals (paying full price is totally overrated). They also have a pretty good shoe selection, housewares & kitchen section are decent too. Those areas + clothing are the only ones applicable for me. Always ask for coupons or bring the ones you get in the paper or something. read more

I needed to do a return on my lunch break...silly me thought it would be quick and easy. I'm standing in line for about 10 minutes with only 2 cashiers at the register. And even though lines were backed up, one of the cashiers decides it was time to take his lunch and leave. Leaving only one checker up there...A second cashier finally comes after multiples calls for help, I finally get to go up to the counter after 15 minutes of waiting in line! The cashier tells me that I have to go to customer service to process the return. Therefore, I had to wait in another line, just to process a simple return. This system is super inefficient and has customers leaving very unsatisfied. Every time I shop at this store, I'm often reminded why I don't shop at Kohl's. read more

This store is very messy. I came here for back to school shopping in August and it was bad. Today, clothes all over the floor. Messy messy messy. Walking in the fitting room there was clothes on the floor. And long check out lines. I can't shop comfortably in chaos. It stresses me out! But I had kohls cash to spend so I had to find something. I did get a great deal. Two jeans, two sweatshirts, 3 necklaces for $53. Kohls does have great deals with sale prices and combined coupons discounts. I am amazed at how much they have in this place. It blows my mind. The e-mails are great, and you can just show an email discount from your iPhone and they discount your items even more. It is shocking how low some of the prices are, and they have some nice brands. I also found the return policy to be quite easy. I am not sure if they always have tons and tons of clearance racks, but when I have been there, it has been truly shocking how much clearance they have, and then, you get 20% off....wow. read more

I don't know what happened to Kohl's in the last several months or so. Since before Black Friday I noticed the increased number of messy racks. Last week I went to look for a couple of shirts I needed for work. I found one but I couldn't find another one like it with my size. It seems that managers don't push for rack maintenance or tell their associates to pick up the clothes from the floor. There's this one short, middle-aged Latina lady that has dyed light-brown shoulder-length hair that sometimes stands by the exit as if to check your receipt. She was going around asking customers if they had a Kohl's credit card. OK. Then she told a younger associate that she was trying to stay busy since there was NOTHING to do. Um, hello? There were clothes on the floor that day that she could have picked up or racks that she could have maintained. Certainly she could have helped that girl with her go-backs. I love Kohl's discounts and deals and yes, the clothes are pretty. But this Kohl's locale isn't very nice looking and you'll have a hard time finding what you need. Manager on duty was extremely rude, everyone else was very friendly and helpful. However the MOD was extremely rude. I was standing in line waiting to purchase and there was one person ahead of me, she went to the right side and so I moved over to the left as that cashier was just finishing up with a customer. As I approached the cashier the MOD scolded me and indicted that there was a line and another customer was ahead of me ( which she was not, she was in line after of me, there was a pillar with which you can't see around). I informed her that I was in line and I moved over to this cashier since I was going to be next. She then continued to argue with me in front of the other customers and employees without ever once apologizing. I gave up and returned to the back of line as I did want to make a scene. And once I moved, she didn't even say thank you for moving or sorry for the inconvenience but refused to look at me as I would have told her she was rude, but again, I did want to have an argument with this person in front of people. Did not feel welcome at all and will not be coming back. Not the cashiers fault at all might I add, he seemed embarrassed by it to be honest. read more

I generally have a positive shopping experience at this Kohl's. It is organized and well stocked. Love their jewelry department. The last few years however, their selection of plus size clothing has been unimpressive. They used to carry Elle brand in plus size but don't anymore. Much of the selection is gaudy looking or matronly. They need a better selection of business casual and going out clothing. Aside from that, my suggestion to the management staff would be to give the women's restrooms an overhaul. There is always a lingering smell of urine and cleaning products when you walk in. There are frequently stalls with toilet paper still on the seats or toilets not flushed and towel dispensers are often empty. Not a good look Kohl's! read more
