Such an amazing store, perfect location atop the escalators of the main entrance - adjacent to the food court. Every time I visit, the associates are engaging, friendly, and sincere. I appreciate their help and courtesy. On a recent visit (Sunday, 04/30) I enjoyed a great visit, due to the exemplary professional skills and knowledge of AMBER, a Hot Topic Associate Rock Star!! These stores are basically pop culture products galore. I haven't been here since high school, in 2009, but my now husband and I visited this location on a day out as friends. I like this store when I need a unique gift. Great location in the Mall with an awesome selection of novelty tee and band tee. They have the standard Hot Topic stuff from shoes, clothing, CDs to ear and body piercing stuff and gauges. The men's and women's side of the store both has a great selections with assorted fashions. This trip we were looking for thigh high socks fol my daughter found them... buy one get one 30% off sweet! They have Zots too! Bonus! read more

Pretty typical seeming Hot Topic. Seems to have been overrun by figurines the last few times I've been here. An entire wall of them? I'm not sure that's really a good use of space... but maybe it's working for them. Specializing in emo/goth style shirts, shoes and accessories, they also have a number of figures and particularly, Hot Topic exclusive figures, if figures are your thing. Their little anime figures or Japanese characters seemed very up to date including Gudetama mini plushies which I hadn't expected to see. read more

Screw this store. Bad customer service. Employees were rude. I received a gift and I wanted to exchange it because it wasn't the one I wanted. The gift had size tag but no price tag. Which I had no idea BECAUSE IT WAS ORIGINALLY A GIFT (I HAD ORIGINAL RECEIPT!) So basically Had an exchange and a guy employee with curly hair did not know what he was doing. He kept "going to grab a manager from the back" and returned with no "manager" a couple of times & still confused! Other girl finally comes out and is still giving me a hard time. Love shopping at this Hot Topic, I've recently moved up here and started shopping this location for all my POP needs and everyone that works here is so cool and helpful, from Toni, George and the rest of the gang. All are very knowledgeable and really look out for the personal collector and know many people just buy to resell at inflated prices. This store came up with the best idea for those of us that work and can't hang out every day to snag the Chase figures - they put people into a raffle for a chance to buy a Chase if your name is pulled. That was literally the worst experience I've ever had at a Hot Topic. The front had a sign that said "wait to be allowed through" basically and I stood there for a couple mins, no one was even checking, so I took a couple steps in, got shooed out for him to just tell me not to take my mask off and social distance. Ok. Pointless, I knew that. Lol I came looking for Halloween costume stuff, I asked the girl working if they had anything, she didn't look up and was obviously bothered that I asked. These people play games in terms of the Funko Pop exclusives they claim they have and don't have in the store. They'll share one thing on their social media page and when you get there it's supposedly gone. When you ask them about it they act like you're asking for too much and a bother. The same item then shows back up again an hour later in another social media post. The store is a mess too. Hangers on the floor. Items on the floor. read more

So, I've been shopping at this Hot Topic since middle school (over 15 years) and I've never really had a problem until recently. The vibe at this store is now god awful, and staffed with rude employees. I'm not sure when this changed or whether management is slacking off but they need to check their employees. My cashier today sold me a defected Funko pop and I didn't notice until after I walked out of the store. I immediately felt odd because he asked whether anything was wrong with the Funko before completing the transaction and I've never been asked this when purchasing from them. I got this feeling that there must have been something wrong for him to ask and when I inspected the Funko pop in better lighting, I noticed that it was scratched. I returned and politely let him know that I noticed it was scratched and whether he had more that I can choose from. He just stood there and interrupted before I even finished my sentence to rudely tell me that there was only one left and just radiated negative energy. The cashier ID on my receipt is 170864. At this point, I'm unsure whether I would ever return to this location. read more

I love Hot Topic so much! This is the closest one to me cause I live in Santa Barbara and I wish there was one here. The people are always so nice and helpful whenever I go. I feel free there and they carry a lot of different types of merchandise. I recently bought an MCR shirt there and I love it. My brother wanted a Hatsune Miku shirt and I looked for it but it wasn't there and I asked a worker and he let me take the one that was on display. It's a great place read more

I called to get a shirt size confirmation and the girl just left me on hold for 34 minutes, thats a half hour just to get a yes or no answer that i still never got. its now 1:30pm 12/09/11 and should not be that busy in store. On another note i remember going to a hot topic to find items that were dark and goth but now all thats offered is "sell-out" items and images of the mainstream. I like Hot Topic (for example, they had a cute tee-shirt featuring two soft serve ice cream cones with faces) but not this particular location. It's too narrow so you're constantly bumping into other people, even when there aren't that many people in the store. Much of the merchandise is hanging up, so you have to look up (which is awkward). They have the standard Hot Topic shoes, clothing, CDs but the selection isn't as good here. read more

The sales rep with the funny mustache was extremely pushy about making his sales I wanted to get a shirt for my girlfriend and he rang up and insisted I bought the other shirt that was 50 percent off because' it would be stupid not to' HOE, clothes may be cheap for you with your discounts but us regulars have to pay full price, only reason why I'm leaving two stars is because Mitchell is a good sales rep. read more

I've been to this store several times and have always been happy wit the service and the merchandise. I recently bought a Little Mermaid jacket, a Beauty and the Beast jacket, and a Cinderella dress. OMG these are amaaaazing!!! I also love their Pops, of course :) The General Manager George is always super helpful as are the other managers. Ryan and Tony are beyond patient and always answers my questions, and I have a lot! Super helpful staff and you can't go wrong with anything Disney related!!! 5 stars for sure! read more
