I'd have to say my first real experience here was back in August 2017 when I tried to make a baby registry. Now I say tried because they really didn't have many things to choose from. The clothes, you can get everywhere else, nothing special about them, toys (for babies), limited selection, not many blankets, I think you get the drift. Plus, creating a registry was a bit complicated, as you HAVE to use this big electronic screen that's taller than I myself is. (Which isn't saying much-- I'm only 5'2''). Fast forward to today in July 2018. Came to kill some time today. One thing I like about this store, is how it's ALWAYS so clean. (Not the bathrooms though, those are usually a nightmare....). Had lots of sales, some were better than others. Bought things I didn't actually need, the usual for going into a store. Our cashier was a younger guy, darker skin. Such a nice guy! Engaged with my 10 month old daughter and carried himself respectfully. One thing I would change about this place however, and I'm not sure if other Kohl's have them, would be to place little refrigerators by at least one register with water or sodas for customers to buy. Most places have them, and I thought it a little odd that they didn't. They have candy, so might as well sell something to wash it down with! I think that would do them well. read more

Corporate has requested they closed one set of doors which is an ADA violation as the handicap spots near that door are no longer accessible for those who need it in that capacity. Store manager notified but didn't care. read more

Last weekend while in the Springfield area I had a major wardrobe malfunction while at work and needed to buy suit pants in a rush. Since it was late on a Sunday afternoon I had little options but was excited when I remembered this store was open late. When I walked into the store it was empty which made my visit quick. I got to their suit department and found what I was looking for right away. As I was looking for the pants I was approached by an employee who warmly greeted me and helped me male sure I had the right pant color. In the end I had a great experience at this store except while checking out. The cashier was a bit rough around the edges and seemed mad that I didn't have any rewards coupons since I used my charge card. Beyond that I was happy they were open so late and had what I needed. read more

I love Kohl's. The clothing, the home goods, the shoes, furniture online...you guys are the bomb!

My husband and I had to get a gift for a friend's wedding. While we couldn't find everything on the registry at this particular store, we did find an item, a toaster oven, that while it was priced higher in the store, they actually adjusted the price down to what appeared on the gift registry without us even asking. There is also a gift registry counter that is very visible toward the front of the store, where you can print your registry and later check out, where they adjust the registry for you upon checkout. Only complaint besides them not carrying everything on the registry (but that could happen anywhere) was that the boxes weren't taped properly so we picked one that appeared "undamaged" and alas the bottom of the box was completely untaped. That said, this isn't necessarily their fault...it's the manufacturer doing a poor packaging job. Our stop was a timely one-stop-shop as this store offers cards, gift wrap, bows and more tucked away in the back corner near the kitchen gadgets...all that you need to nicely dress up your gift. Overall this was a pleasant experience and I would recommend this store. read more

I am a man and not a seasoned shopper. I went to Kohl's in W Springfield yesterday to try and find men's mittens which I had seen for sale on their website. Not being a shopper, I had to ask where to find the mittens and was nicely directed to the mens Dept. I found gloves and gloves and gloves but no mittens. Then I met Sara(h). She was wonderful. She said that they didn't have any mittens in the store and they had to be ordered online. She then marched me over to her computer and started her magic. She found the mittens on sale and discovered that if I ordered two, I would get a better price. She was fabulous. I can't thank her enough for the great service so I thought a shout out to Yelp would be nice. I always like to say thank you for good service. read more

Pretty standard in most regards, as far as Kohl's goes. There are some things that are better about this store, and some that are worse. For better: -large section of Lauren Conrad collection of clothes -amazingly massive selection of perfumes WITH samplers -nice accessories representation (more hats, scarves than other stores I've been in) For worse: -Kohl's employees scattered throughout the store (definitely in the men's and women's clothing sections) offering to sign you up for the Kohl's charge card. I really wish they would just stick to offering it at the register, which by the way, they still do. It's a bit of an overkill. -dressing rooms were pretty dirty. Dust bunnies collected in all the corners of the dressing rooms, lots of clothes still in all of the rooms. -disorganized clothes racks/displays. Many of the areas I saw were pretty disheveled. They should take the employees currently designated to charge card sales pitching and have them walk to the floor instead, fold clothes, put dressing room items away, and so on. read more

I love Kohls-but this store is an exception- I have never had such bad treatment in a store in all my life. EVERY employee I encountered was either snotty, ignoring me, or rushing me. Loved it when my cart was being taken away ( I was approx. 10 ft from it... Trying to be considerate and not take up space in the clearance section) When I stopped the woman from taking it, her reply was, "Honey, you have to keep your cart with you shopping or we'll take it." And standing for several minutes at the register- no joke- no one to be found- until...wait! Hooray, someone is coming! After she asked " Are you all set?" and I said, " yes" .. Thinking she was going to check me out.., she walked away!!!!! And the best... I looked lost- I was trying to find something in particular ( never offered help... After running into many employees) There were 4 girls talking ( one of them was a cashier) about going out and if it was an official girls night or " can I bring my boyfriend?" I was totally ignored... Until someone yelled, ( no kidding) "Is anyone in the store?" ( they were closing) One of the girls yelled that I was there ... ( beyond rude) and the manager was wandering at this point- when I went to the register, the girl didn't say ONE WORD to me- other than asking if the cart near me ( with many things) was mine- I said " it was but I'm not getting it now" ( I was in shock at the bad service )- she LAUGHED and after the manager took a bag from her, she proceeded to chat with someone else ... Handed me my change- and not ONE of the employees, including her, thanked me or wished me a good night. I left behind approximately $150 of merchandise behind- I shouldn't have bought anything. If I could rate this store less than 1 star, I would - Stay far away and do yourself a favor and drive to the next nearest Kohls. read more

There's a little bit of everything here. Usually, the selection is backed up by solid prices. Staff is usually helpful, but the line can be long if it's busy. It's definitely a better idea to have a plan, or you could spend hours grazing. read more

The last time I came here 2 girls were getting busted for stealing, so that was exciting, but a little nerve wracking. I prefer to pay for my clothes so I don't get sent to the pokey. I think this store always looks a bit like Lindsay Lohan, disheveled but you still want to see if there is anything worth looking at. And, sometimes, there is and other times there is not. I think their registers always are full and people are always haggling with the cashiers about not getting some discount or using some coupon. I go here when I absolutely need to, which is hardly ever. But, seeing as I live in Boston and visit this area on ocassion, I will stop in to see if they are having a sale. I have never shopped in Kohl's much, never had too much of an interest. last weekend i visited Kohl's with my sister and my dad looking for sweaters and Christmas gifts. My sister and i can never pass the makeup, jewelry, or perfume without checking out a few items. I have never felt so uncomfortable in a store, however. i am a 21 year old criminal justice student, so i knew the exact word to call the older woman working who would not leave my sister and i alone, overzealous enforcement. Meaning this worker is expecting us to steal so she follows us at our ankles to make sure -_- i should have stole something just to make her happy. i will not be coming back to the Kohls in WS, i plan to write them next. read more

Kohls use to be a great store with great discounts. There stuff use to last, I do not know what happened. I have been a Kohls customer for over 10 years. I even signed up for their credit card, so I could receive the best discount. Now their isn't much I will buy there. They still have an amazing return policy. 1 year from the day it was purchased, it purchased on a card. I have used this many times, since their items have fallen apart. I don't want to buy their clothes, I actually started shopping Sears Lands End line. Old Navy seems to have better deals than Kohls. Old Navy also offers a military discount. I only buy a few items from Kohls anymore. This store in particular is pretty annoying. They have some that walks around the store and ask "do you have a kohls card?". Yes I do. Leave me alone. I just want to shop without any hassle. Returning a fridge here was particulary painful. The freezer didn't work and the ladies acted very upset. I didn't receive that in Oklahoma City. Anyways, I hope Kohls gets better products and goes back to the amazing sales and discounts. Until then I try to stay out of there. read more

When I got my first home, I purchased almost my entire kitchen set (plates, utensils, pots & pans) there. The selection was usually pretty good. They had bobby flay and food network items that used to be really good quality. I do think the quality of Khols items has decreased. Honestly I can get the same stuff and better at Target for lower prices. The 30 percent discount isn't even enticing anymore, as everything is junky and overpriced. The only last reason I went there was for shoes and now the price has gone up on those too. Going to Khols is like going to TJ-maxx. It's random overpriced garbage and I usually regret stopping and wasting my time. read more

West Springfield store was recently updated & looks great. Lot more fitting rooms, located conveniently in the center of the store. Customer Service desk is now at the front of the store instead of the back corner (makes sense!) Always great sales, and it's the only store I carry a credit card for because of the awesome discounts they offer. Sometimes 30% off entire purchase. And bonus days when you get $10 to use for every $50 you spend. Lots to choose from, lots of departments. Oh and if you need to make a return, it's hassle free! read more

11/19/2017 . Sunday . Had a very pleasant experience, until I overheard another employee yelling very rude at another employee. The store was super busy and the young girl looked very concerned and embarrassed !! shame on your employees kohls for allowing your employees to treat others so poorly !!! I come very often and its always the same employees standing around . (Jewelry) If people don't work, they should not have a job there . I love Kohls. I come frequently, I always find good deals, cute clothes & lots of stuff for my family. but I would never recommend becoming an employee if that is your vision on how employees get treated !! Kohls is pricey. I only go to kohls for the lauren Conrad collection. The store is clean and items are easy to find. I wish I wasn't asked about getting a kohls card everytime I visited. read more
