Koi Asian Bistro is amazing! The ambiance is absolutely beautiful, modern, relaxing, and perfect for a night out. The service was fantastic 1 our waitress was incredibly attentive and kind the entire time. We tried a little bit of everything, but you get free edamame when you sit. We ordered crab rangoon, curry, California roll, monster roll, orange chicken, chicken pad Thai, and mango cloud boba tea and every single dish was a 10/10. The sushi was fresh and flavorful, the entrees were perfectly seasoned, and the presentation was stunning. Also, the lychee martini was delicious, easily one of the best I've had in a long time! Such a gem in the area, we'll definitely be back!

This place was great! Went there for lunch today and the service was fast and friendly. You have a lot to pick from so it's hard to make up your mind. All decorated for Christmas. Was just beautiful decorations inside. Very warm and welcoming. The food was excellent! Highly recommend!

We had a lovely server, we had an awesome sushi roll, edamame was brought to the table complementary when we arrived, and our drunken noodle dish was fresh and yummy!

First timer! Koi Asian Bistro did not disappoint! You can smell the flavorful food aroma as soon as you hit the door! We were seated asap! And the service was amazingly fast! We ordered the Pad see you noodles with white rice along with the orange chicken and a side of chicken fried rice. Even Fresh edamame for the complimentary. The decor was very beautiful as the Japanese's cherry blossom tree entices your eyes on first sight with plenty of seating. Koi Asian Bistro was very clean and very much an elegance establishment. Check em out!

Jaeger Mojito With A.A.C. And Peanut Avocado Rolls

Got to be one of the best restaurants in Bourbonnais for Asian, or actually anything. If looking for modern sushi around here, this is certainly the correct place. Koi has a ton of rolls to choose from, as well as other stuff like hibachi and whatever. Has pretty good prices for the portions, to be honest. The restaurant also is one of the classiest places in town, but it's affordable for the most part though. A lot of the appeal is the sushi, but that's just one part of the menu of course. It also has some pretty good and strong drinks. They had a few specials going on when we came in. Among these was the Jaeger Mojito, which got my attention just wanting to see how this liquor goes okay in a mojito, and surprise it was actually good. It's $12 for a pretty big glass, so it was a good price. Also there was Red Bull. This had a little bottle of Jaegar you could pour in to make a float of it on top. As for the rolls, these were the main reasons we came. It's about $6.25 for rolls. After looking at the vegetarian choices, we got a couple. These were the A.A.C. and the Peanut Avocado Rolls. Pretty big rolls and these were packed with fillings. The peanuts aren't one of the usual ingredients in rolls, but these added a crunch and went pretty well to be honest. Could for sure come here again. It's looking like a classy place, but it's actually pretty casual for the most part it seems. There's plenty of rolls for seafood eaters, as well as for vegans and vegetarians.

Absolutely enjoyed the food here. Our party of 3 were seated very quickly on a tuesday night. Loved, loved the seafood soup! The Thai Glass Noodle with chicken was equally scrumptious! Also tasted my friends' sushi, the Godzilla roll had that nice deep fried outer layer that provided texture.

6 different rolls & sashimi. Delicious

Great sushi, 1st time checking out this place with my son. Kinda pricy but very delicious.

Ok so new review cuz different experience. First, new carpaccio dish is delicious. Large slices of…read moreassorted very fresh fish with a light delightful sauce and nice garnishes. I ended up dipping my sashimi pieces in the sauce. The baked mussels are always yummy. Seaweed salad is a huge portion, way more than expected so hopefully they don't charge if you don't finish it by yourself! Tempura veggies were good but somehow the tempura shrimp seemed almost like the frozen ones you get at the grocery store, but the usual super light tempura, but still good. Dragon roll is my favorite though it could use more eel than avocado on top. Only yucky thing was Spicy 2 in 1c which menu says is spicy tuna, salmon & avocado inside, wrapped in soybean paper with chili sauce but instead came with avocado on top with a TON of plain mayo under the licensure sauce. I think it's in a previous photo but honestly this time it was drenched and really, I hate plain mayo so I tried to scrape it off but it was overwhelming & had to lose the avocado when I scraped it off so I just couldn't eat it. The fish seemed to have been cut with a lot of tempura flake also so it wasn't even luscious like it should be with just fish and spicy mayo, and there was quite a lot of rice too, so it was very bland. The server Satya was SUPER nice & apologetic, offered to redo without mayo, but I was just kind of done by then; he was great all around l, nit his fault. So I got my delightful tempura banana and called it a day. Suggestion is to clearly state what's on/in the rolls to avoid misunderstanding. The menu photo does not show mayo on top at all. Finally, note that Sat & Sun are dinner prices for AYCE even at lunch which I didn't know until I sat down but was already set for sushi so paid the $42 with tax/tip for lunch and felt kinda unhappy. I didn't get that much so didn't feel with it. Quality, ambiance, and service are still good and I do recommend with these caveats.

0 Stars -- Absolutely Horrible Experience…read more I have never felt so disrespected or uncomfortable at a restaurant in my life. My experience at Sushi Nova in Orland Park was absolutely appalling. There were flies everywhere. I found flies in my food, and we were constantly swatting them away throughout the meal. At one point, a staff member was walking around using an electric fly swatter inside the restaurant. Things got even worse when a waiter smashed flies on my seat, leaving what appeared to be blood and insect remains behind. This was completely disgusting and unacceptable. I reported the situation to the hostess, but instead of taking the situation seriously, I was told that she couldn't do anything for me. Eventually, after contacting the owner, she said she would give us a discount. What shocked me most was that there wasn't even an apology. Then I was told that the police would be called if I didn't pay. At that point, I felt like I was being treated like a criminal when I was the customer complaining about what I had just experienced. The hostess laughed in my face. I was so upset that I was literally shaking. We paid and left. What is especially disturbing is that even members of the waitstaff told me that I should report what happened to the Illinois Department of Public Health. I can only imagine how unsanitary the back and the kitchen are. This was not simply a bad meal or poor service. The level of flies, what I observed in my food, the handling of the situation, and the way I was treated afterward left me completely appalled. I have been here before but I will never be back. I will tell everyone that I know about this experience. And I will be reporting this place to the health department. I would not recommend this restaurant based on my experience. I have never walked out of a restaurant feeling so disgusted, disrespected, and shaken.

I had a little time to look at the interior and people watch. It was a younger crowd and probably data night for a few. Interior did remind me of trendy hip style you see in some sushi places. When I got seated the waitress was helpful pointed a few things out and showed me the conveyer and the ordering tablet. I was looking forward to trying the rotating meal options off the conveyer belt. I have been to a couple of these style places before. Now I did see they were going to stop serving before the actual close time so I wanted to dig right in and get a few things. I ended up with 3 places which were ok a spicy tuna, tuna nigiri, and one of their custom rolls. Fish tasted ok and rice was not dry. I waited and watch for about 10 minutes for other things of interest to rotate around and there really wasn't much(not much on the conveyer or new things being put out) I ended up going to the tablet to just place orders there, which was a little bit of a bummer. I like the mystery of what is going to come around the conveyer next and trying something random. It was around 8:15 and I wanted to make sure I got food before they closed kitchen. The delivery for the tablet ordered sushi was on a little vehicle that rolled out on top of sushi conveyer, which was cute I could seek kids getting a real kick out of that. I decided to try a ramen which ended up being hand delivered. Soup was not hot it was more just warm which didn't work great with the noodles. They have to sit a little to soften up. I think it would have been better if it was hot. I could have probably just ordered the ramen alone because I did end up with too much to eat. Be careful how you order. If I was to go again, I would definitely try to go earlier to give more time on the conveyer maybe closer to 5. The place is a little far away for me to just do a causal meal so I will probably stick closer to my local favorites. If i was taking 3-4 folks out I might go for the place as a fun dining out place. Parking not a problem. Staff was pretty friendly and they did a good job of cleaning up after people dined. Prices were in line for other rotating type sushi bars I have been around Chicago. Most plates fell between $4-10 depending on what you got.
