11.21.25 I wasn't too hungry because I hadn't been feeling well. But, this spot was really yummy! Portions were large, and despite not being able to eat much from being sick... I ate this whole bowl! Fish tasted fresh! My son enjoyed his bowl too. The folks at the counter were super friendly and patient with me taking a bit of time to decide what to order. They had indoor seating. Super clean. Good selection of music for a calm hip vibe. Not a crowded spot when we went, so I'll call it hidden gem. This spot is definitely on my must eat list next time we head out to AZ. read more

Coming from California, I have yet to have good poke in Arizona....until I had Koi Poke. The fish tasted very fresh and there were a number of different toppings to add on top. Seaweed salad and the avocado were a must for me! This was absolutely delicious and I cannot believe this is available in Arizona. I wish it was closer to where I lived but I will visit again when I'm in the area. What an incredible gem! read more

I waited 9 months to enjoy poke again and Koi helped satisfy that craving! I had never been to this location and stopped by for the first time. They have a bar inside, lots of seating and have a nice outdoor patio as well. I love how spacious and clean this location is. The fish and other toppings are fresh and delicious. It's so awesome to get fresh poke in the desert! Everything was fresh and tasty. Staff were super polite and helpful. I had the 2 protein option with spring salad greens and a bit of brown rice with Hawaiian tuna and white fish. Stopped by on a Tuesday around 1 p.m. plenty of parking, & only two workers. I order a medium bowl. 1/2 spring mix, 1/2 brown rice, 2 scoops spicy tuna, 1 scoop shrimp, edamame, crab, avocado, dry toppings with their different sauces. It was tasty & fresh. Only thing wrong was the $2 1/2 hard avocado. Thought it would've come smashed & mixed in but it wasn't. Was too hard to mix it in my bowl. I ended up taking it home to make guacamole. Being a visitor from out of town we rely on recommendations from the locals. In this case the locals being the concierge at our resort who provided us a list of eats that the resort staff have personally eaten at. This was our golf getaway but we'd yet played golf due to adverse weather. We wanted something light for dinner. Being Asian we will gravitate toward Asian influenced food which is relatively light compared to other cuisines. We settled on poke. I read the Yelp reviews and decided it fit the bill. Located in a strip mall we made our way over. This is a very informal place. There are several steps you need to undertake in order to come up with a personalized poke bowl. What size bowl? What type of rice? White or brown? Or greens instead. From there you select your protein. Then your toppings, Then your sauce. And finally your garnishes. We did a lot of aah and hmm. But hubby and I each got a crafted poke bowl by the time we hit the cashier. We did a grab n go, and went back to our resort to enjoy. The fish was fresh. I got the Hawaiian tuna and yellowtail. I went with the ponzu sauce. Each scoop was on the smaller portion size but enough to satisfy the palate. Hubby got the Hawaiian tuna, salmon, and octopus. Spicy shoyu sauce. Tip: There are other Koibito Poke in town and they have the same logo as well. But I've found out that this Koi Poke has separated from the other one and operate individually. This location hands down has the best quality when it comes to poke. The other locations are not bad, but definitely not five stars worthy. They go by different rewards systems too. This location's rewards program is through their app, and it has been easy to use. Rewards are pretty good, you can cumulate enough points for a free bowl and I don't think the points expires. I've been coming here for a year or two now and the quality has always been consistent. Even dining close to their close time, the quality never suffered. I've tried plenty poke places in the valley but nothing beats Koi poke. read more

We have tried various Poke restaurants and we keep coming back here because of the portion and variety of the different condiments. We seem to arrive around 5:30 and there isn't a lot of customers dining in, but a sporadic flow of customers. read more

Very surprised this place has such great reviews. When we got there there was a police situation inside the restaurant, only for that reason I am not taking a start for the terrible service we had. Police was already handling the situation but we got ignored for a while by the 4 employees standing just there and watching. We wanted to leave, we should've. The restaurant is clean as well as the restrooms, a star for that. Price is comparable to other poke restaurants. Lets talk about the main reason we went here... the Poke was not good at all. the Hawaiian Tuna tasted like rubber, the salmon was not fresh, shrimp was okay. Not a lot of variety of toppings either. Choices for toppings are a bit more limited than we've seen elsewhere, but the fish was fresh and delicious. We missed the wonton crisps that most other places have. Atmosphere was pleasant. We didn't get cocktails, because the bar seemed to be closed, but that's a nice option too. We greatly enjoyed the octopus and the champagne butter sauce. Everything tasted good. Koi Poke is located inside of a strip mall at North Pima and Legacy near Ironwood Village. This is a build your own bowl kind of place. I don't recall seeing any premade options however the choices are exponential considering layout of ingredients. Chicken or fish bowl and size is also determined by scoops of protein available with base of mixed veg or brown or white rice. Large is 4, medium is 3 and small is 2 scoops of protein. The choices for fish are top quality choices ranging from octopus, shrimp, tuna, salmon, spicy tuna (mixed), Hawaiian tuna (marinated) and maybe another I'm missing. Toppings and fillers are all included except lobster and avocado which are extra but not much more. My wife asked for avocado and while it's another 2 bucks it's half an avocado. They also have a full bar and the servings are very generous for the price and quality. This is the best poke we've had on the continent by far. Excellent customer service and very clean place. I noticed many students coming in for dine in or take out. That says a lot considering there is a McDonald's right next door. Amazing meal! read more

This is one of my favorite places! The customer service is always amazing. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The place is always super clean and lets not forget the food! I always get a chicken bowl. To die for! The sauces are key! Only sad part is that i only come for lunch because i live so far from koi, but i work down the street. What an amazing experience eating poke here. We drove past this place and wow are we happy we decided to venture inside. Cameron was fantastic, full of positive energy and genuinely excited for us. He explained everything and even our 3 year old loved his recommendations. All the ingredients were super fresh, looked and tasted amazing. The entire team made sure we were taken care of. All of them were constantly cleaning and refilling the bowls of ingredients, this also ensured that the people for pick up and take out were taken care of quickly. Would come back if in the area and craving poke! Got the medium (3 protein) with double salmon and Hawaiian tuna + salmon is fresh tasting + tuna fish tastes fresh, not much fibers +/- standard spread of sides/toppings, they have lobster for $4 more and avocado for $2 more - Hawaiian tuna sauce is way too sweet. Had I known, I would've gotten spicy tuna or get a citrus/spicy sauce that helps balance that out Our party of 4 got there close to closing but the staff were cool to let us eat inside until they finished cleaning and closed out. read more

At least my 5th time here & they never fail to deliver. The food is flavorful & fresh (as it can be) lol. Coming from California I always find it a little strange ordering sushi or poki in a landlocked state but that's my little hang up.. When I moved here, I asked about poki bowl & people looked @me as if I was crazy, it's AZ, no ocean nearby. Lol I agreed & moved on.. Seeing quality places like this doing business & delivering great service with terrific food is awesome. Not a big deal, but it would have been nice for a little cushion as they were cleaning. Drinks (4/5): No alcoholic beverages, but they do have better than your run-of-the-mill soft drinks. Food (4.5/5): I created my own bowl (they have preset ones if that's more your style). You choose your size (basically with each size upgrade, you get an extra scoop of protein). I went with three scoops (two Hawaiian ahi tuna and one Asian chicken). The Asian chicken is cooked (one of the few options here that is). Which gives an option for those that aren't into raw food. And it's also one of the few non-seafood options. The chicken was well marinated. On the flip side, I'm a big fan of tuna. I've been to Hawaii which perhaps has the best tuna in the world. The sweet marinade here worked perfectly with the flavorful tuna. The proteins were a hit. For my base, I went with brown rice (white rice is also an option). I added a bunch of toppings including edamame, cucumber, furikake, crispy onions, cucumber salad, black sesame seeds, and corn. I went with their signature sauce and also got their yuzu ponzu and teriyaki on the side. The first two were delicious. The teriyaki, while good, was a little sweeter than your typical teriyaki (I like the classic version). A filling meal and a pretty affordable one.

They also dont cover their toppings so the fish is just left in open air all day. Considering fish attracts flies there would be no doubt a fly could have landed on the fish you are eating! I went out of my way to try this one because I had been to the Koibito poke shops and wanted to see what made this split off location so well-loved and highly rated! The service was decently fast although there was a wait with a few other people there, and the restaurant was clean and well stocked with sauces etc. THE FOOD: I'm so sad I dug in before taking a picture -- the fish was certainly not fresh or kept cold enough, it was rubbery and had odds and ends thrown in that had to be picked out while eating. The greens had some rotten leaves and I had to pick them out (I regret getting half rice/half greens) and the worst part is that both my partner and I woke up later that night with food poisoning! This has never happened to me at the other koibito locations and I really don't see what makes this shop special - eat there if you're willing to risk it! read more

As a native Asian girl, I'm always a bit gun-shy of sushi and fresh fish in general in Arizona . For a quick, informal poke bowl dinner, Koi was one of the best I've tried - anywhere. The fish was super fresh, a good basic selection, together with tasty sauces and toppings. The servings - scoops - were actually larger than I was expecting, so it was overall a good value. Best Poke Bowl I've had here in AZ and definitely rivals the ones I've had in Hawaii. Fish is fresh, great selection. Fresh sides and a lot of avocado (yes it's additional) but it's worth it. Was my first time, but won't be my last time here. Was sticker shocked at price, but I tasted and felt the nutritional quality. Well managed, great service and very nice environment. This was our first visit to Swan. We started with cocktails. My husband ordered the Pineapple Passion and I ordered the Heartbreaker. Both were very good and I think the bar has a nice selection of drinks. Only issue was pacing. I didn't get my drink until at least 10 or 15 mins after my husband. So he was almost done with his cocktail before I started. Not sure how this happens with a Bar order so that's a glitch that should be fixed. On the plus (?) side (for me), our waiter misidentified the drink as mine so I had many sips before realizing it was my husbands. The cocktails were good but, for $17/each, lacked embellishments. Also Swan needs to put a spicy cocktail on the menu. Our dinner was adequate and did take forever to come out. I actually really enjoyed the shishito peppers, which were nicely done. I was less impressed with the sushi. We ordered Happy Ending, kiss of fire, double double, and rainbow. Somewhat mediocre and lacking flavor. The fish did not look or taste fresh and was very thinly sliced. The rolls lacked any sauces so were quite dry especially with the dried out fish. I personally would not order any of these again. Disappointing bc I am so desperate for a good sushi place around here. The patio ambiance was nice and the staff was friendly and helpful. I think our waiter was new, which resulted in some easily resolved glitches. But he was always apologetic and trying to correct. He apologized for the timing and kitchen slowness which must not be his fault. We will probably be back to try something different on the menu. We stop by regularly. The sushi is always fresh and well done. Today we had the Chefs choice sashimi, which was excellent. The hamachi carpaccio with lemon slices was absolutely amazing. I also really enjoyed my Burning Sun roll. All solid choices. I will definitely order the carpaccio next time we come back. The vibe in the restaurant itself is a little underwhelming so takeout might be the best option if you are wanting to dine out. My suggestion to the restaurant is to improve the menu and consider offering a daily or weekly special roll. With the menu, I always have a hard time figuring out what everything is. I'm not sure why it's more difficult than other sushi restaurants but somehow it is. Also maybe add some music or something instead of the TVs

Sashimi was good but we've had larger portions for the price paid. Simple rolls were also overpriced but still tasty Glad we got an opportunity to give them a try.
