Amazing new AYCE sushi place. The quality is amazing for restaurant sushi let alone AYCE. Been meaning to come here since they closed the old place and opened this a few doors down. I happened to pass probation at my new State of Maryland job and had a late flight out of BWI so chose to come here with my wife. So many great options to choose from. You order with your phone for the table using a QR code for quick service. You can actually order a wide variety of sashimi, nigiri, rolls, sushi appetizers, and kitchen items. Unlike other places, there is no upcharge for sashimi. We loved their creative cocktails that we tried as well. We weren't able to finish but was not charged much since while our second round had less items we forgot they were more of the bigger rolls. Service was great. Ambiance is quite a step up from the previous place a few doors down that was great but this is even better. read more

I am obsessed with this place! You can order on your phone through a QR code on the table and the staff will bring you the food. The only downside is for the elderly who may have difficulty with that. The AYCE is so worth it, as it includes both sushi, sashimi, and rolls, as well as some kitchen items. (Note: they posted that sashimi will no longer be included in lunch starting June 15th and their lunch and dinner prices will be changing. My favorites are their salmon and red clam sashimi. Their eel is also very good, but I haven't had a bad fish here! It's nice that there are options for non-sushi eaters as well. My husband opts for their ribeye hibachi, which comes with rice, salad, and sushi. They also have a variety of appetizers. The restaurant itself is very clean and spacious. A very nice addition to Glen Burnie! Overall, it's a solid AYCE spot, and I think it's worth it for the quality. TIP: make sure to bring cash! QR code to scan for the menu and order directly, but printouts are available ask your server. This visit, we tried: Jungle Roll Spider Roll Sake Don Salmon Bento (not pictured) with steamed rice and hibachi vegetables All are fantastic and crafted to order. The "itamae" the night of our visit generously prepared a sample of the salmon carpaccio, and this was delicious; light, slightly smoky, tender sweet, wrapped with thin cucumber matchsticks and kani. Service with Ethan was fun and friendly. While the food took a while to get to us due to a mix up, it was resolved with no further issue. I didn't know what AYCE stood for until I got there. I wasn't prepared (stomach wise ) for an AYCE but at $35 per person it wasn't a bad deal. I think I got my moneys worth. It was made to order as opposed to a tray of pre mades and that definitely made it absolutely worth it. The staff were nice and the food came out pretty quickly so again not a bad deal. They also impose a time limit of two hours (again tracking) but the staff was hard to come by. I had to wave them down for amenities and to place another order or beverage. The restaurant is beautiful and the bar and karaoke setup seems top notch. But considering it was Friday and it wasn't jam packed; I can't imagine how it is on busy nights. Recommend. read more

This is the second time I've been to Koi, once for dinner and once for a weekday lunch. Service has been fantastic both times, I like the ambiance I hope this place gets some crowds on the weekend because there is a stage perhaps for karaoke and a large bar as well. Typically, I am pretty skeptical about all you can eat sushi mainly because in my past experiences, the quality of the sushi is not the best. I would like to consider myself a sushi connoisseur, and for me this place was five stars for more reasons than one. The first reason the service, our server, whose name I didn't catch was fantastic! He was happy to explain everything that was included in the all-you-can-eat menu. I'm a little ashamed to admit that the server recognizes me because of how many times I have been here in such a short span of time. If you want to stuff your face with good quality sushi for a reasonable amount, then this is the spot you should go to! Seriously the fish is really good quality. My favorite is the salmon. Located in a strip mall. Ample parking. This is a bar restaurant which has K-pop playing. Definitely giving club vibes. Service was fast and friendly. I did go at 230 when there were only a handful of patrons. Need to scan the QR code in order to order. Remember to place your name and number otherwise you might be waiting although your order was not completed. Cost is $30.99 per adult. $2.50 for soft drinks. $3.00 for marbled drinks. And $2 per cup of rice tea. They also have a full service bar. I definitely ate my money's worth. I had 3 specialty rolls (8 slices per roll), 30 pieces of sashimi, and 4 pieces of sushi. The rice was prepared very well and could taste the seasonings. My favorite was the white tuna sashimi. It had a very sweet taste. I think I have had better rolls at other places but not at an AYCE spot. So if you are hungry. This is a great spot to go. They also have deserts that come with the AYCE. They had small ice cups from wholesome farms as well as a large tub of red bean ice cream which was sooooo delicious. Great way to finish a meal. read more

The new spot which is now located on the other end of the shopping center has an elevated modern interior. The staff are still the friendliest ever!! What I missed the most during the temporary closure was their yellowtail scallion rolls! I also love they don't overload the rice which allows you to taste the fish with each bite! This place is now ideal for larger parties as the space is double if not triple the size of their previous location. They also serve alcohol and it looks like a small stage for karaoke ?? The food has been really good, the service is friendly, and everything comes out quickly. Overall, I've had a great experience here! The only thing I wish they would change is keeping the dessert station open a little longer. Naturally, after the kitchen closes is when you may want to grab something sweet, but the desserts are already covered with Saran wrap, so you can't get dessert even though the restaurant itself is still open. Koi sushi is one of my new favorite places to grab sushi from! I really enjoyed the California roll the Philadelphia rolls and the beef udon noodles with stirfry was cooked to perfection. I am totally feeling the lemon drop martini lol and I recommend that you go during lunch hours as the parking lot can't get a little crowded. Had a great dinner- you order through your own cell phone and they bring the dishes out to you - we are lot of sushi sashimi and rolls - I thought all the sushi tasted good - no fishy taste and good size- we got a few special rolls like miyagi roll which was good ! Have you ever sat on the Santa Monica pier and admired the majesty of a pelican swooping across the sunset rippled sea gathering its meal in its beak? Have you ever dazed a medium sized mammal and then thrown it at a snake and watched the miracle of serpine swallowing; the unhooking of the jaw, the stretching of the skin? If not, you need to come to Koi Sushi! The table across from me watched in wonder as I feasted on all you can eat sushi. My first bites were delicate, my chopsticks danced like a ballerinas legs as I enjoyed the quality of the sushi - Better than expected! As I ventured deeper into my two hour time limit the meal transcended transaction and became something almost sensual. I couldn't unbutton my pants fast enough as I devoured Naughty Girl roll after Naughty Girl roll. Then, on a whim, inspired by some divine source, I added a full plate of nigiri - seven different finned friends found their way to my table. This is when the spectacle began. Fighting fatigue I was as if possessed. Grab, dip, bite, swallow, grab, dip, bite, swallow, grab dip bite swallow... A machine couldn't have performed better. As if in imitation of my feat the Olympics played on in the background. Yes, I wanted to stop. But I couldn't. The servers were too nice, the chefs worked too hard, and by god the fish tasted so sweet on my tongue. Though every man has his limit... With my stamina waning I stumbled to the back of the restaurant where I scooped myself some mango ice cream and served up a slice of cheesecake (it wasn't actually cheesecake that's why this is 4 stars). I had a shimmer of hope that these sweet delights would give me the strength to finish 9 more pieces of sushi to avoid the surcharge applied to ten or more pieces leftover. However it wasn't the dessert that inspired me. Sitting back down at my table I made eye contact with a child. It looked like me. I saw myself through time like some eternal mirror. I saw the man I would become. The man I wanted to be. I casted the fake cheesecake aside and finished what I set out to do. By the end, I was a dripping mess. Sticky rice clung to my beard, soy sauce splattered across my bursting buttons. But I was happy. I felt joy.... Can't wait to go back. Might bring a date there! read more

My friend and I ordered teriyaki steak meals and got sushi to share . Our waitress did not speak English very well and we had to repeat our orders several times. Truly a great place to go! Its a AYCE sushi bar however they have non sushi items too. You order using your phone and they'll bring out your food momentarily. Place as many "orders" as it takes! I'm removing a star for two reasons: We had to wait 30 minutes for a table which I don't mind doing but there is no way to reserve a table ahead of time or call ahead unless you're a party of 5 or more. I think if you know you're going to be very busy, you should have some kind of reservation system in place. Additionally, they were "short on sushi chefs" so if we ordered anything more complicated than nigiri, it took 15-20 minutes to come out. Which I wouldn't complain about but like most AYCE places, you have a time limit. So my piece of advice is, order multiple sushi items at once to make the most of the wait. I ordered sushi three separate times as well as kitchen items (which did not have the same wait) to make the most of it. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner here and would 100% come back. No place is perfect but it is as close as you can be realistically! read more

We've been here quite often and this revirw is a combination of all those visits. Consistently, the front end staff are very professional, friendly and accommodating. The cook staff are fast and efficient. The place looks clean as well as the seating areas. We've been here with a family of 8, family of 6 and even just the 3 of us and the experience is always the same. Fresh food, fast preparation, and definitely delicious. Their mobile ordering system is pretty good and it also offers more items vs their printed menu. If I have to be critical with something, sometimes we will have multiple people ordering their own food using the QR code and the wait staff will just deliver the food without telling us what it is. Sometimes, especially the specialty rolls can start looking the same, so we have to play the guessing game. But that's not a big deal, as I have no qualms about eating anything they drop off on our table. All of them are great. Prices are definitely comparable to other sushi AYCE in the area, but at least Koi offers military discount to the entire check vs individually. So if you have a military/veterans ID, make sure you ask for the discount once you are seated. This place is our go-to for an easy, fun and yummy family dinner nights. Highly recommended! read more

Koi sushi is a beautiful new restaurant. Tons of space and a nice looking bar. I went on a Friday afternoon and we were the only party there. Service was amazing. We were the only table to everyone was extremely attentive. The All You Can Eat options were delicious. My only critique is that I wish there were more options. Other than that no real complaints. For the price, I won't be there that often, but I will be back. Hopefully they have a happy hour price or something comparable. read more

We used to go to their old spot a few doors down. I will say right off the bat: the restaurant is larger, the atmosphere is livelier, and the menu has more choices. As for the quality of the sushi. It was really good! We especially liked the calamari. It's very lightly breaded and had a real good flavor and texture. I really liked the one roll I got but it wasn't at all spicy like it said on the menu. I have to knock off one star for two reasons. One minor thing was that we ordered the shumai appetizer and it only comes with two pieces. So if you have a party larger than 2 or are very hungry, I'd get more than one order. The other bigger issue for us was the speed. On the night we went. I'd estimate the restaurant was about half full the entire time we were there. I started by ordering a roll and some sashimi. My roll came surprisingly fast, probably 5-10 minutes, but the sashimi took 10-15. It's arguably easier to make. My husband got the nigiri and it took 15-20 minutes. Also not as hard to make as a roll. Overall though we liked it and will be back! read more

Food was fine. Standard for any ayce sushi spot. The restaurant itself was nice. It is a huge upgrade from their previous spot. The service was not good. We were seated fairly quickly for a busy Saturday night, but were disappointed when our first order of sushi rolls took more than an hour and a half to arrive at the table. We spent a total of almost 4 hours there simply because every order took an hour or more to fulfill. I understand it was busy, but waiting for food that long was unacceptable. If I wanted, I could have driven to Rockville's Kabuto (highly recommended for sushi and hibachi), taken my time with dinner, drove back home, and still finished before Koi sushi got us our last order. We were so excited to eat here! I hope they improve on their service soon. read more

The food was amazing!! 10/10. I had never given any raw fish a fair shot, but it looked delicious here. I tried the yellowtail jalapeño appetizer (amazing!) and from there I wanted to try it all. The pepper tuna tataki was delicious as well. We also had multiple koi special rolls and appetizers, all great. Unfortunately it took a long time to get our orders, but they were very busy. The waitress and manager (I assume the manager) were very attentive! Checking on tables and if food was ready even though we didn't ask. This place just opened a few doors down from its prior location. Same delicious AYCE sushi and apps but is a much bigger and nicer space. The Christmas roll is new and I really liked it.
