We were seated at a booth. Only a few tables full when we arrived. We ordered the Koji crunch roll, grilled scallop, volcano roll, bibimbap with chicken, extra miso, two ginger salads. $66.50 The miso soup is good, lots of tofu and seaweed in it. The ginger dressing is super sweet with lots of pulverized carrot bits. It's ok. My salad had the iceberg lettuce bottom clump in it. The scallop and the Koji crunch roll are both good. The Volcano roll is okay. The bibimbap was so-so, a lot of rice, rehydrated shiitake slices, not much veggies. The egg is just the yolk, so odd, no whites to the egg at all. Where did the egg whites go? They said they just throw out the whites that the eggs. That's odd. Service is good.

I was craving Japanese food and found this place. I didn't realize it was downtown Northville, but I was happy there is a parking lot close by. I got there around 11:35 am when they opened so my friend and were seated right away. This place is much smaller than I thought. There are 6-7 booths and then tables in the middle. Ye bathrooms are in the back. It has a cozy vibe. I got the sushi combo (spicy tuna and spicy California roll) and the Michigan Roll. It came with miso soup and salad. I enjoyed my sushi! We also got chocolate chip ice cream afterwards - which was a nice treat/surprise. Food and service were great!

Stopped by for lunch with the family. After reviewing the menu, we went with: - shrimp tempura & veggies - sushi lunch - Udon & Sushi lunch - Spider roll - Eel & Avocado - Spicy Tuna - Green Dragon - Tempura California - Salmon, Tuna, White Tuna & Yellowtail sashimi The rolls were decent, comparable to all other Japanese's restaurants in town. I like my sushi rice on the vinegary side.... and here they use very minimal as you can't taste the vinegar in the sushi rice. One thing they won me over was the sashimi. They cut their fish thick, which is rare. All other places I've been too, they like to cut their fish real thin, but not here. That was a big surprise, that added extra star to the review. Their shrimp tempura was 0 out of 5 stars. It needs major work. It came out all soggy, no crunch aspect to any of the tempura that was served unfortunately. That knocked off a star from the review. The service was good. Waster got filled without asking. Interior is small, reminded me of a Mexican restaurant, not sure if it was former Mexican joint before it became a Japanese joint, that's the vibe I kept getting. The chairs/tables seemed like leftover from the old restaurant.

Each time we've come here it's been fantastic. Salsa roll and green dragon are our favorite rolls. The miso soup is really good here, and the nigiri rolls are also very generous portions. Service is prompt, it was very busy on a Friday evening so the were trying to turn tables over pretty quickly.

Love Koji! It's been a family favorite for years. The sushi is always fresh and delicious, and their beef teriyaki is a must-try too!

Service was great. We called to ask for a last minute reservation for a party of 9 and they were very accommodating. Food was pretty good too.

One of my staple sushi spots for the price and quality. Service is nice and efficient. Gets quite busy during dinner time so expect to wait on Fridays and saturdays.

Downtown Northville! We went here in Friday night. Place was not busy probably because it was past 9pm. Service was fast and decor was cozy. They have a large wooden models on display in the hotel which I found very kool. It was just my son and me and we ordered 3 sushi's about 8-10 pieces in each order. All were good! Koji Maki, Dynamite Roll & Volcano Roll

Your typical small sushi spot in ambiance. Sushi rolls were sub-par, lacking texture and flavor. There were many little annoyances including but not limited to: - The straws were too short for the cups - Waitstaff didn't check in during the meal - Waiter took water directly out of my hand mid sip to refill - Random free edamame was nice but we don't like it, so it was wasted - Asked us to hurry - after waiting 45 minutes to be seated - that they had a lot of people waiting to be seated after only being there an hour. (There was no one waiting when we left) Overall, not impressed, would not return but not the worst experience I've ever had.

The place is very busy and tight squeeze between tables but the seats are comfortable. The staff is always running around and get everything done asap. Ordered a few sushi rolls and a miso soup. The miso soup is has great flavor. Had the yellowtail tuna roll, shrimp tempura, California roll. The rolls were good the ginger had a light flavor.

Service is always fast and friendly. Dining area is normally pretty busy and lively. Seating is tight but will accommodate small and large groups. Might have to wait a bit to get a seat. Sushi is a little pricey but not much more than places outside Northville.

This place can get busy so expect to wait as I experienced longer wait times than usual. The service was good. Situated in downtown northville so it's a nice location - you can walk around after. Miso soup was good. I got the rainbow roll that I really liked. My brother got the Las Vegas roll and it was not my favorite but I just don't like cream cheese in sushi but my brother liked it. I would come here again or get take out if I am considering time

The sushi here was fresh and delicious. I got a combo with salmon, tuna, and yellowtail and every piece tasted clean and buttery. The rice was perfectly seasoned and not too sticky or mushy. They also gave us warm miso soup and a small salad, which was a nice touch. Our server was super sweet and answered all our questions since it was our first visit. The restaurant is small but has a cozy, calm vibe with soft music playing. Definitely coming back for more sashimi next time.

Ok for a quick Japanese bite; not necessarily the most cost optimal place. Also place was pretty small and felt close quarters

As an appetizer I ordered the Miso Soup and that was VERY delicious, the broth was very smooth. As for my Main Course I ordered two sushi rolls: Alaskan Roll & the Red Dragon Roll. Both rolls were very exquisite, the Red Dragon is something new I have never had before and I have to say that the spicy Mayo made it really good. I also had the Tempura Udon and it was very delicious. The egg yolk in the bowl was very creamy and the noodles were nice and soft. Everything here is very delicious. This is one of the coolest places I have been to you must definitely check it out.

The premade food choices are growing by the day. They are always adding to their offerings with new flavors and tastes. I started coming to One world market in 1997 when it was first home by a husband and wife team. It was very special at that time to have a Japanese focused grocery store and I was so happy to have one in the Novi area. This has been my go-to for decades now. When it was transitioning from private ownership to the Noble Village group, owned by True World group, there was a transitional decline, thankfully, that didn't last long and things are developing very nicely. I hear even more growth is on the horizon as they establish an even greater presence in the building next door. I am also thankful that the integrity and the high-quality is very much present and everything they do. The service is always top notch and they try to open up a lot of lanes so people get through quickly because it is busier than ever. The word is definitely out.
