Not bad! Not bad! Their drinks are actually not bad! But the mochi is not good enough in my opinion. This seems like the only or closest bubble tea available near the Virginia Beach. No tables or seats inside, doesn't seems like there is much ac so don't expect to chill inside the shop. This is a grab a drink and go. I ordered the coffee milk tea + lychee jelly on my first visit. That wasn't a good combination because the lychee jelly actually throw the coffee milk tea off. My husband had the pina colada slush and that was alright. My matcha green tea mochi ice cream was not green tea enough, but alright. Now the passion fruit mochi ice cream is just not for me. I took one bite and just shove that to my husband to finish the rest. Hahaa. The second time I visited I ordered house milk tea with honey boba. This time it was much better. I finished my drink quick too so definitely no complains on that one. My husband ordered a coffee milk tea with coffee jelly to prove to me that the drink with lychee jelly is not a good combination. I got the chance to try this out while I was vacationing at Virginia Beach. It's so nice to see a bubble tea spot on the boardwalk! This definitely wasn't here in 2019. I got the Dream of Butterfly Tea (Butterfly pea, lemon tea with strawberry topping) and Brown Sugar Milk Tea (milk tea with brown sugar boba). I thought the Butterfly pea tea was pretty unique. I haven't seen it in other bubble tea shops. It was good and refreshing. It was also a bit sour if you're into that. I actually like the brown sugar milk tea more. The boba was soft and chewy, and the milk tea had a good tea flavor. Will try again if I'm ever in visiting. read more

Saw on google that this was due to open back up 1 April so was happy to find it open this weekend! By recommendation of the owners, tried the dream of butterfly tea, going with strawberry added and that flavor boba. Super tasty and boba was great. Will definitely stop back on our next trip. read more

Not sure if it's because it's off season in Virginia Beach and majority of the stores on the boardwalk are closed for the season in early November but I walked in on a Monday afternoon and they didn't have tapioca for the day. The girl in my pictures with the blue hair wasn't too nice but the other employees were very nice and friendly. I get Kokee tea back home all the time...it's one of my favorites BUT for some reason their Taro Milk (purple love) had me so sick later that evening. Still having stomach pains now. Their boba is absolute trash. I'm sorry but it's literally sugar flavored ice with powder mixed. The ice is not blended well at all so you just feel like you're eating an ice drink. Most ice blended drinks are way smoother. I will stick to Kung Fu Tea! I am a taro lover so of course I got that. My son's drink tasted the best out of the three we bought. Still wasn't a smooth blend though. The only thing I did like was their accessories you could purchase. Sorry but save your money and go elsewhere. read more

Although it's overpriced like everything else on this street, the bubble tea is actually decent. They also offer a variety of mochi. I got the green tea mango passion fruit tea with boba. Went in to order a brown sugar milk tea. Vibe was off putting. Stood at the counter for 2 minutes before I was seen. They two girls that were working were just sitting on their phones not paying attention. Like really. Not being aware of your surroundings at the ocean front... anyways I ordered ($9 btw) and it did not have any brown sugar in it. Tasted like straight black tea. I went back in and said it didn't taste right and one of the girls said "we can't do anything our policy is 'No refunds and No remakes'. It's like they make the drinks shitty and they can't do anything about it because it's 'policy'. They started laughing and giggling after. I tried this place for the first time and the service was good. Kind and helpful people. I ordered the brown sugar dalgonatte with ice and bubbles(tapioca pearls). I never knew what dalgonatte was, so I did not expect it to taste like coffee. I don't like coffee so I was a bit upset about that, but the added ingredients helped. Another thing that upset me was that the boba wasn't freshly made, so it was a bit hard and not chewy. I'm so sad..we live 3 hours away from here and now that we've discovered this was here, it's so upsetting! The staff was awesome! I never tried lychee before but now I crave it! My fiancé and I were strolling around VA Beach when we stumbled upon Kokee Tea. We ordered a mango passionfruit ice blend smoothie with boba. It was alright. We opted for 75% sugar and it was still pretty sweet. In hindsight, I think 50% would've been better. The bubbles were pretty good- big and chewy.
