Swung by late in the evening for some sweet treats but couldn't find anything I actually wanted. The ice cream has a lot of artificial looking colors added to it that made me not want to eat them. I settled with chocolate milk boba instead. I discovered after placing the order that the flavoring agents for drinks are made of powder. The service was efficient and prompt but she looked unhappy and miserable. There are booth seats to sit down on inside and a few teenagers cackling away. I doubt I will be returning again in the future given how many other ice cream parlors are in the area that uses much better quality ingredients. read more

Really cool concept with decadent menu items like over the top milkshakes, funnel cakes, churros, etc. We tried the Fruity Pebbles milkshake which looked awesome but taste was pretty bland. I would say this place is more about the experience than the actual taste. They do have a wide variety of sweets if you have a group looking for different tastes. The ice cream itself is "meh" but cool experience to try! read more

Beautiful ice cream store! You order at a kiosk. It said it could be 10-15 minutes but there was no one else ordering. We waited for a few minutes and no one came out. Then someone stuck their head out from the back and said may I help you? I told them that we had ordered a few minutes ago. He then went and pulled our stickers and we got our delicious ice cream. The white chocolate raspberry was absolutely amazing. It had little chocolate cups filled with raspberry in it. The ice cream is very creamy. I got a kiddie cup, and that was more than enough. My friend got the banana split and said it was OK, but she wishes she had tasted it first. I will definitely go back! read more

If you're looking for a dessert spot you must visit The Sweet Spot! My husband and I visited the Atlantic Avenue location this past Sunday. This dessert is absolutely unbelievable. I had the funnel cake with vanilla vegan ice cream which I was overly excited about being that I try to consume less dairy as possibly if any. With that being said, I felt very seen with them being able to cater to my non-dairy needs. Lets talk about the funnels cake, it was hot & fresh and extremely tasty. If you don't mind sharing food, you can most certainly share this with someone because it's more than enough to go around. My husband had the strawberry cheesecake ice cream and he enjoyed it very much. To go, we grabbed a Strawberry-Mango Lemonade that was sooo refreshing and came in the perfect keepsake cup. The service was great and everything was made to order. The ambiance was right of a magazine with the upscale decor. This place is perfect for a solo date, couples, girls outings or even kids. Stopped in after hearing about this place all over social media. The restaurant has lots of "instagram worthy" photo spots and has a very fun pink vibe which was fun for our girl's night out. I did not enjoy the kiosk ordering. The place was packed and you can deff tell has alot of foot traffic during the day and was very dirty. We ordered the charcuterie box which offered lots of options to share with our group, but nothing was brag worthy. While very cute, I think this place gets alot more hype than it's worth. read more

Was in VA Beach Oceanfront for a short vacation and went to The Sweet Spot. My granddaughter has Celiac Disease and the manager went WELL ABOVE my expectations with service! He used a clean scoop and went to the back freezer to use a brand-new GF ice cream container so there wasn't any cross contamination! This dessert place really knows its allergies which is rare when you have Celiac! read more

Wednesday 8/14/2024 I arrived at around 9 pm on a Wednesday night and it was PACKED. They sell plenty of different sweets like ice cream, shakes, waffles, and many more. I ordered at the self-order station and got the Oreo madness milkshake $15.99. It was so packed that it took about 30 minutes for me to get my milkshake. This was my first experience that I can remember of me having a loaded milkshake and it was solid but nothing crazy or special. I did like the decoration and toppings with the Oreo ice cream sandwich, Oreos, and whip cream. All in all, paying nearly $18 after tax for a solid milkshake isn't worth it to me but it was still a cool visit. read more

This is one of the most prettiest places to ever eat at. The best time to go is before night time. At night this place gets very packed due to it being a great place for date night. There is always a different type of theme and new seasonal dessert all year round. Our favorite was the dubai chocolate skillet. The skillet with the ice cream was very soft and melted in our mouths. There is also plenty of places inside and outside to take pictures. read more

A little overpriced for lemonade and Dubai chocolate strawberries in my opinion. We enjoyed all of it. I don't usually care for Dubai chocolate sweets, but the strawberries were made very well. Enough pistachio butter to actually taste pistachios, and the crunch of the shredded Phyllo was actually there compared to other cups. The lemonade wasn't too sweet in my opinion. I like the lychee lemonade the best. It's a very aesthetic instagrammable spot, but price is a deterrent. read more

Such a cute place to grab a sweet treat! It's so cute and pink. This place is in Virginia Beach so it's a very busy street with walkers and drivers. Minimal street parking, but there are public parking areas where you can pay for the day. There's a bunch to do around here, but the beach is the main event and after all that walking and basking, a sweet treat could be what you need. We ordered one smoothie and a cheesecake milkshake. Both delicious and sweet. The milkshake was the bell of the ball. Delicious shake with a cheesecake slice on top and a cheesecake ice cream scoop, with the cone. For those who crave sugar, stop here. What's not to love; this place is so pretty and pink and serves wonderful desserts. It was our first time there, and notice we could only order on the kiosk. The lady at the counter was very nice, and walked us through the process. We got the custom pink bubble waffle filled with pistachio ice cream and strawberry ice cream. It was such a delicious treat! My favorite color is pink, so I enjoy being there, enjoying our treat and had fun taking pictures with my boo. We will be back. read more

How cute is this dessert spot. I definitely recommend this spot for whoever has a sweet tooth and lives or visit VA Beach. You order through a kiosk which i think is pretty cool and quick. Once you put your order in they call out your name and bring the sweetness to you. Service is quick as it does get busy. So many selfie spots. I had a blue monster ice cream which was delicious and my friend had a strawberry explosive milkshake which she said it was a 10/10. You have indoor seating and like three tables outside to enjoy the view. Well hope you guys try it out if you ever go. read more

Slow impersonal service. Order on kiosks and literally no employee anywhere. After 5 min he appears and makes the ice cream cone. Needs more people actually helping customers. $13 for a waffle cone and 2 scoops I could at least get it in reasonable time when it's not busy. read more

This place has been on my radar for a while. I finally had and an opportunity. Everyone inside were so nice. They were helpful as well. You can look at a menu on the wall, or use a QR code. It was a little hard to read the menu via QR code. Parking is available in a beach lot or the street. Seating is limited, 2-3 tables outside, and 3-4 booths inside. I devoured my PB extreme. It was delicious. Their icecream is pretty good. I was confused if I take the jar with me or leave it. In the end I left it. The funnel cake was ok. Nothing to brag about. Tip: bring napkins or baby wipes. There is no where to wash your hands. None that I noticed atleast. read more

Yum. I was impressed. I've walked in and looked at the menu a few times and have had this on my list for a cheat meal/day for a while now but haven't remembered when the time came! Last weekend was it! Finally! It was hard to choose between a shake, a funnel cake, a bubble waffle, or a churro creation but in the end, we went with churro. We chose the Churro Split and it was delicious! I didn't expect to like it as much as we did but we ate like 2/3 of it! Probably not a good thing, will have to be more careful upon return and make sure it's a day I've had a really good workout in.... but still, treat yo self. Our Churro Split consisted of: banana split ice cream, half a banana, strawberries, cheers, and strawberry and chocolate sauce, with two full-size warm churros stuffed in as well. The banana split ice cream was surprisingly good and everything else was delicious as well! We loved it. I saw a few other things I'd love to taste so I'll be back for sure! read more

I've been here a few times and every thing I've ordered from here has been great. The portion sizes are large so you can share a lot of what's available on the menu. The workers are always nice and both the food and establishment itself make for good pictures. The all pink interior is a pretty popular photo spot if visiting the Virginia Beach area. read more

We've been here twice already... highly recommend! I took my teen daughter here because it looked really cute and I saw people walking by with the most gorgeous looking desserts earlier. The place is beautifully decorated so you can take pictures all over the room. Ordering is super easy - you order on a kiosk, which was surprisingly easy to do! We received our order 5-10 mins later and sat outside to eat. The funnel cake was the best I've ever had in my life! It was soft and cake-like and just melted in your mouth. Not too sweet or oily like some funnel cakes. The second time we came, there was limited seating because we came during a busy time of day. My niece told my daughter about this place and she wouldn't stop asking to go, so we went. After the sticker shock wore off, we went ahead and ordered. A funnel cake and churro dips for my husband, a small blue monster on a cone for my sweet boy, a Nutella milkshake for my princess, a unicorn milkshake for my niece and a KitKat bubble waffle for myself. The churro dips were really good, I'd get that again. The funnel cake and the bubble waffle were both dry and the texture wasn't it. I was really excited for the bubble waffle but it was incredibly disappointing. I didn't get close to finishing it, and my husband tossed the funnel cake. The girls had no complaints about their milkshakes so I'd like to say they were insanely sweet and perfect. Presentation wise, they're easily instagram-able. Taste wise, they live up to their name, sweet. I can't say we'll be back, but it was a nice change of scenery for our last sweet treat before heading back to Georgia. The Sweet Spot is a cute little ice cream shop! There's only one booth inside and two groups worth of seating outside, so don't expect to stay here long. The decor is super cute and perfect for taking photos -- but I would do that before ordering as they make you sit outside to wait for your dessert due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They have many options to choose from: milkshakes, scoops, frozen coffee, lattes, etc. They even have vegan options. I tried the Donut Explode milkshake and it was very good. The rim on the glass was the perfect touch and the donuts were delish! It started to melt down the glass almost immediately because of the cone that sat on top with ice cream but it was worth the mess! The milkshake part itself seemed scarce, unfortunately. The funnel cake would have honestly been enough for me and my girlfriend. Definitely ordered too much and had to take the rest home. The place was really nice and aesthetic, overall spent 70$ including a tip. The service was very fast with the machine ordering system. I honestly would recommend the charcuterie box but even just one funnel cake order is enough for two people. I was looking forward to coming here before I even got to Virginia. The price is actually reasonable for what you are getting. I got the explosive cotton candy milkshake, and you get a souvenir mason jar, the milkshake, a ice cream cone full of ice cream and some sort of candy matching the flavor of milkshake you got. You order on a kiosk and my milkshake was ready in a few mins. It was super quick! The place itself is literally so cute. It's decorated all in pink and it's perfect for taking photos. The location is super convenient too because it's right on the main strip and it's not far from the other typical Virginia Beach restaurants. Definitely a must stop for a treat ! read more

A must stop if you have company visiting. They have a great flavor offering and you can also build your own ice if you'd like. It leans towards cinnamon, root beer and coffee flavors and it was surprisingly soooo good. I cannot wait to get that the next time I go. I also recommend their Pitaya in Paradise which has dragonfruit and lime as well.. Honestly, you can't go wrong as long as you pick typical flavors you like. Since they were out of the malasadas, I decided to order the banana latte instead. I'd give it about a 7/10. For context, I'm always searching for a great banana latte because I love flavored coffee. One thing that frustrates me is when coffee shops advertise flavors like cookie butter, lemon pound cake, or red velvet, but the drink just ends up tasting like sweet coffee with no real trace of the advertised flavor. I was pleasantly surprised because this latte actually tasted like banana. It wasn't the best banana latte I've ever had that title still belongs to one I had in Las Vegas but it was definitely one of the better ones I've tried. The only reason it wasn't rated higher is because I noticed a sugary base flavor that overpowered the coffee a little for me. I personally prefer flavored lattes where I mainly taste the coffee cut with milk and the featured flavor heavily, not just sweetness. That's purely my preference. The fact that I finished the entire drink says a lot. I've had plenty of flavored coffees that I couldn't even finish because I disliked them so much. This wasn't one of those. I enjoyed it, and I definitely didn't regret ordering it. Now...the real star of the visit was the lumpia. It was AMAZING. Crispy, flavorful, and easily some of the best lumpia I've had. I actually tried another lumpia spot recently, and while it was decent, Ohana & Co.'s lumpia completely won me over. It's honestly the reason I'll be back. I have an eye appointment in the area next week, and I'm already planning another stop. I'll definitely be ordering the lumpia again, and this time I'm hoping they have the banana malasadas because that's what I originally came for. I also want to try one of their platters. Overall, I'd absolutely recommend giving Ohana & Co. a try. The customer service was wonderful, the café was clean, the banana latte was one of the better ones I've had, and the lumpia alone is worth the drive.
