I called today at around 11:43 am to see if they have any male masseur for a 90 minute massage. I pretty much paid for the most expensive one with the CBD oil and hot stone body massage for $110. The guy said yes and I said I'm down stairs, i went there at 11:45 am and paid $110 cash. I went to the restroom then to my massage room, they provided you with a T-shirt and shorts which was a little smaller for me especially the shorts. I asked the first guy, he was a older man who was massaging me, how he's going to massage me if I pay for the oil, he said I take it off later. Ok, no problem. Then he started, which is good and I asked him his name, he said Mark. I was hoping for a stronger strength but it started off as a medium pressure. Then he asked me to take my shirt off and he proceeded to pumped the oil from the big bottle in the room, now I know they can't be pumping that much "CBD oil ", right ? It was those cheap oil that you get at a cheap Chinese massage place. His hands were rough and after a couple of minutes, he stepped out and next thing I felt like a different pair of hands on me, is much smoother, here I'm thinking is either the oil that smooths his hands or is another person. And this guy seems like he wasn't really experienced in massaging, it feels different from the first guy. Then when he was massaging my legs, he tried to pushed my shorts up my thighs and it was tight, it didn't feel good, felt like a rope was tied around your upper thigh. He again was pumping those oil like hand sanitizer, I know is not CBD oil cuz that oil he used dries up really quick. Then when I turned around and saw the male masseur, he was definitely a different guy. And the door was cracked open like 12 inches, the light was super bright. After it was done, I looked at the clock inside, it was 1:20 pm. I said no, I paid for 90 minutes and you started at 11:55 am, I was laying on the bed and he hasn't even come in yet. Even if he starts at 12 pm, he still shorted me 10 minutes. I went out and I told the guy at the front who was another person and he kept saying that it was him who answered the phone when I called, trust me, I'm not blind or have memory loss, I know is a different guy when I walked in and paid. Then I told him that the MT shorted me 15 minutes and he asked the other "Mark", a heavy set guy. Mark said he started my massage at 11:50 am, that's a lie cuz I snapped a picture of the room at 11:51 am before I undressed and I showed it to the front guy the picture and he said my phone time might be different from the clock in the room. I said no, is the same time, I showed him my phone and he looked at the clock is both at 1:24 pm. With the back and forth arguments, he said I can go back in for another 10 minutes, I said no thanks, by the time I undressed and on the table, my 10 minutes is up. I was going to tip Mark $30, then I took $10 back. The massage sucks, they shorten me 10-15 minutes, and they switch out my masseur and the other Mark lied saying he started at 11:50 am. See picture, it shows 11:51 am, I'm not even on the bed yet. How he's going to say he started at 11:50 am ? I really wanted to come here for over a year and now I did, and is such a disappointment. Horrible service. Sadly I had such a negative experience I felt compelled to write this review. The massage therapist was rough and did not speak English for me to be able to communicate properly. I tried multiple times to ask him to lighten up or that something felt painful. I was very tense most times and felt discomfort several times. I had to brace myself at times physically and tried to politely let him know I was in pain but it was useless. I left with pain and light bruising (I am anemic so do bruise easier but a massage has never caused this). I asked my brother for his experience and although he didn't feel pain, he definitely mentioned it was the worst massage he has had and that they were rough with him. We did not feel comfortable enough to leave a tip, however the workers stopped us at the door and told us we were leaving without a tip. We felt uncomfortable but sent over some money via Zelle (they only accept cash or Zelle). They did not speak English so they did not understand when we explained that we sent the money over Zelle and tried to act as though we did not even pay for the service (we did before the massage). They kept pointing for us to sit and blocking us so that we couldn't leave. This went on for 10-15 minutes post massage and it was very frustrating. I was ready to call the police because the lack of same language made it very difficult to communicate and I felt very uncomfortable. Finally after being on the phone with the owner, the worker turned to us and smiled and said we could go, that they got the Zelle. I wish we didn't get this massage, it was very uncomfortable and upsetting to feel like we were shaken down after the service. I will never forget this horrible situation. read more

I did a walk-in on a weekday afternoon and was easily accommodated. I got a foot/head massage combo. The head massage was ok (I had better) but the foot massage was solid and I ended up falling asleep a bit. I also think the prices are more affordable than other places (but please note it is cash only!) They provided loose clothing for customers for the massage and their facilities are quite clean. Came here today around noon for full body massage + foot massage for 60minute for $40, and I'm never returning. I read the great reviews on yelp before calling to make the appointment, so I had pretty high hopes. I've never gotten a massage by a guy before, so I was a little hesitant to come after hearing a guy answer the phone call. I still thought I'd give it a try since people had great things to say. Beginning: It started off pretty well. The front desk guy led me to a clean room with a t shirt & shorts to change into. There was a basket for me to leave my stuff. About 5mins later, another guy knocked and came in. The massage: I don't remember asking for deep tissue, but it was SO painful. I usually get deep tissue massages at Thai massage places, but this was the most painful & unpleasant experience ever. The guy kept missing the pressure points, and was going so hard on the areas with bones. I moved around here and there when it was too painful, and I think he noticed it too and lessened the strength. The lights were also so bright, and the door must have been open, because I could hear everything happening outside very clearly, making it difficult to relax. What got me thinking this place is REALLY WEIRD was when he got to my butt towards the end. Ive been to many other massage places, but NEVER HAVE I EVER been massaged on my butt that passionately & vigorously! It was SOO uncomfortable and awkward, but I tried not to think much because the guy was a little older, and that he is probably just old fashioned in massages?! I tried really hard to give this guy a chance. And then he smacked my butt each time after passionately massaging it. It was very weird & bizarre moment, and definitely not relaxing!! At the end, I was confused whether or not if the massage was what I was expecting, with my shoulder still feeling the knots. I still decided to leave the guy 20% tip. I only had $20s and $10s and few $1s, so I asked the front desk for change. The guy with a mullet haircut gave me two $5s when I gave him $10. Its fine, because I had few extra $1s. I gave the guy who did my massage the 20% tip for a bizarre & painful massage, and the front desk guy had the audacity to say "1hr massage is $10 tip." I wasn't sure if I heard him correctly, so I said "im sorry? What is it?" And he repeated himself "1hr massage is $10 tip. At restaurants, you tip 20% but at massage you have to tip 30%". I've NEVER heard of this before. If I had an AMAZING experience, I get it, times are hard, and I wouldn't mind tipping more. But I was in pain mostly, and was harassed, and they are still demanding more tip? You've lost me. Save yourselves from being harassed if you are a young female, and avoid this place!! They lack in skills AND morals. I will be going somewhere else tomorrow for another massage because clearly this place did not get my shoulder knots, and just left me feeling awkward & weird. read more

Got the 12-pack massage for $400 so I have an excuse to come more often. $10 tip for a $40 massage. My masseuse was REALLY giving it his all & I felt like he deserved the 25% tip. They speak both Korean & Mandarin Chinese. English is minimal, but enough to understand each other & someone will randomly shout a response somewhere in the corner. I've had two good massages here (female practitioner) but every other time I've had a massage (male), I am begging the practitioner to ease up on the pressure and they simply WILL NOT do as I ask. I felt like she was just punching and moving my body around without even really catering to my needs. It was the worst 60 minute session I ever had in my life. The reason why i gave it two stars was because they were able to accommodate me last minute, but it was not worth the price that I paid. And then at the end I was hounded to leave a tip. I called a day in advance to make an appointment for four people on a Sunday morning. I wanted to make sure they had enough masseuses to accommodate us. I tried calling a week in advance, but the man I spoke to told me to call back the day before (which I did). Not sure about his English, but his Korean was okay and he even sent me a confirmation text! When we arrived on Sunday, the room was set up with 4 beds! It's definitely a lot cleaner than some of the other massage places I've been to in Ktown. They even give you some clothes you can change into. It's a lot more sanitary and they seemed to have licenses framed on the wall. Legit?! They increased their prices for 2020 - $35 for a 1hr foot massage + $10 tip It's $45/per person, which isn't too bad but there's another place in ktown that's a lot cheaper but not as clean. I guess you get what you pay for, right? I am taking off a star because of the massage itself. I'm not sure how to put it, but I didn't feel like it was personalized enough. They didn't pay attention to my problem areas and don't ask you if you would like for them to focus on a certain area. They don't pay attention to your body and just go through a routine of things. I woke up this morning with terrible back, shoulder, and neck pain from sleeping on my futon last night. My first thought was - I need to go get a foot massage. I found this placed on Yelp, not too far from home. Right after work, my hubby and I headed straight here and realized we forgot to make an appointment. When we arrived, it took us a few minutes to find the place. It's kind of hidden in the corner of the 2nd floor, right by the chiropractor office and the Thai restaurant side. We walked and asked for two foot massage. The guy at front desk showed us the sign with the different services available with the 60 minutes foot massage for $30 (see my photo for posted services and pricing). We picked the foot and body combination. We were shown to a private room with two massage beds, one of which had those poles across the ceiling typically only found at Thai spas. The guy gave us a pair of uniforms and asked us to change and lie down on the bed when ready. One male and a female masseuse greeted us 5 minutes later. Both of our foot massages were great! I've had at least 50 in the past but this is my 1st one in Koreatown LA area. It's a reflexology massage that focuses more on the feet than anything else. Usually the rest of the head and body massages are ok but this one was way better. My masseuse focused on the knots in my shoulder and kept at it many times, yay! He was very firm and that exactly what I needed after a bad night's sleep. My husband's said his masseuse spent the last half hour walking on his back. I completely missed all of it. He said it was awesome and that I should try it. So I added on another 30 minutes back massage to have her walk on my back too. She was great and may have been just a tad too painful for me, especially after the hour massage that I just got. However, we both felt great and relieved of our back pains by the time we left. Pros: -super clean facility -getting a comfortable foot massage without feeling like your skin is pressed into the sides of a leather chair is a major bonus! -firm massages -good pricing -friendly staff -$2 valet parking in the underground garage -a masseuse that can walk out your knots! -we didn't feel rushed through our massage -comfortable uniform to get massaged instead of wearing your clothes which often times would be jeans Cons: -your feet is soaking in a bucket of water on the bed with your knees bent (lasted for 10 minutes) while you're getting head, arms, and hands massaged. -no lotion or oil used in the massage except on your feet So the next time you're feeling achy or worn out, drop by and get this place a try! The second person I had made inappropriate advances (and yes, I'm reporting him), so when I asked to be switched again he started screaming. He loves to scream, like an angry child. Met our old masseur, Mr. Chee from the other place we frequented prior to covid. He is one of the best. We get the 90 minute massage, 1/2 feet, 1/2 body. There are private rooms and they give you a t shirt and shorts to change. The massage is more sports/acupressure style. There is one female masseuse, she is good too and not as strong as Mr. Chee. Their English is limited but let them know if they are applying too much pressure. $60 for a 90 minute combo massage. They are all wearing masks and practising safe measures. This place is the best! So clean and the service is always amazing. For my recent massage my phone died and I didn't have a charger and they were kind enough to lend me a charger for the duration of my massage. BRING CASH FOR TIP and preferably for services as well. The do have an ATM available. They are usually very accommodating as far as walk ins but I recommend always calling ahead, they usually answer quickly and will work out something to fit your schedule. They do make you change into clothes so it is not a massage place if you prefer to be almost nude but the massage is always as good if not better. They have private rooms and couples rooms which is a nice touch for foot massage places. They bring in t shirts and shorts for you to change into and a basket to put your clothes in. We got the $30 combination foot and whole body and it was literally the best I've ever had. First the foot soak while he worked on my scalp and then started on my feet. I went in for a "BODY" massage and this isn't a typical spa massage experience. When you arrive they take you to a room to change from your clothes to a big tshirt and shorts and then the lay you down for a massage and you're massage is fully cloth in tshirt material. If you're expecting hand on your back and skin with some oil this is not the place. This place is fully clothed no oils and the massage itself is not worth it personally with the clothing scraping you're skin on the rubs it ends up being unpleasant and not at all peaceful. I would not come back I gave it 2 stars because they at leave give you a cup of tea at the end that was probably the most pleasing thing about the entire experience. The price is also not that cheap for even less you can go get a real massage. Just be warned what you're getting. read more
