Came in for my first visit. I was looking forward to Korean Fried Chicken, but it definitely didn't taste like Korean Fried Chicken. The food came out hot, but it wasn't extremely crispy like I expected. The fried sushi was doused in their sauce, so I didn't really get to enjoy the taste of the food. The server was great! I appreciate that he took time to explain the menu and how it worked there. Extra star for that. The only bad part about the seating is that the seats are high up as well as the tables. My personal favorite is the spicy tender rice bowl followed very closely by the regular chicken sandwich. The rice bowl is the perfect balance of flavor and comfort food. The biscuit waffle that they use for the sandwich's is so savory and was delicious even on its own. The employee in the front was very kind and welcoming. My food always comes out fresh and hot. They have a few arcade games that are free to play and it makes the whole place feel like a perfect hole in the wall find. I highly recommend trying it out! read more

Meh, I'm not sure if there's anything special about it. The fried chicken doesn't taste much different than any other fried chicken we've had, and the fries are super soggy and flavorless. However, the churros are fabulous and the serving sizes are generous. You could probably go without every visiting here, but if you do, get the churros! read more

I bought 2 eight pieces and it was not crispy enough. Korean fried chicken is supposed to be so crispy that the batter will not get soggy. I think it was not double fried. It should still tender and juicy even after the double fry which is what Korean fried chicken is supposed to be. If the owners are reading this please take this as a suggestion. Flavored as if marinated; juicy and robust. Gochujang bbq dipping sauce is wildly spicy and sweet. Deep fried sushi is creamy and delectable. Medallions that come lightly battered and best paired with their accompanied sauce. Its almost like a sizzling thousand island dressing. Their dishes might be slightly above the average price per fast food, but you really do get what you pay for. This isnt a chain restaurant. Its home-grown cookin' done right. Atmosphere of location is comfy chic. ATX meets SoKo. Also: most likely the only place in corpus you can get genuine soju! As the first Korean fried chicken-focused restaurant in Corpus, this place has a lot of potential. However, it has some work to do in getting there and showing a good representation of Korean fried chicken. Currently, the chicken is very bland tasting and the coating is flavorless. Korean fried chicken is also known for the "double fried" method and having a very crispy exterior. The chicken doesn't meet the mark in texture and the batter I think is just a flour or some starch coating without much seasoning. The sauces are also very unbalanced - the pepper sauce is one note, the honey butter sauce has a strange tanginess. I'd recommend that the owners of this place do a quick field trip to McAllen, TX and go to Kiri Kiri or Austin, TX and go to bb.q Chicken or Seolju to get a more robust representation of the product and bring it down to Corpus.
