First experience with Komoon as we were in search of a Ceviche to serve a dinner party. Chose one each of the shrimp and mixed fish. I recognize that different chefs like to put their own interpretations on dishes but this Ceviche won't be ordered again. Am used to finally diced seafood that you can scoop on a chip (which aren't provided with your order) but both dishes included shrimp complete with tails. How do you scoop a whole shrimp; you don't. When eating any ceviche you expect to taste the acids from the lime and lemon used in the dish but that was so glaringly missing we cut up our own. I'm confident the sushi is amazing based on the display and the Thai dishes are wonderful but will suggest you not order the Ceviche. read more

The bar has every type of alcohol on display but no alcohol for two out of 6 of their cocktail menu items. The shrimp tempura appetizer was more of a fried vegetable dish with two and a half pieces of shrimp on the side. The fancy tuna roll tasted similar to a roll from Publix, and the later likely would've been both cheaper and more presentable. The steak teriyaki tasted great but had the texture of a hockey puck; the vegetables served along side it appeared to come from a frozen bag, and the rice smelled starchy and unwashed. The servers were wonderful but with only two of them working, I feel like they were at their limit despite half the tables being empty. If you're looking for a Saturday night meal while on vacation, save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. If you're in the mood for mediocre Asian food at a Miami price, look no further. read more

I'm not sure of the history of all the Florida restaurant "mashups" with multiple cuisines but I like what is going on at Komoon! Recently stopped for lunch and chose one ceviche and one Thai stir fry. The whitefish ceviche was excellent and unique in the Peruvian presentation which includes corn it's to give it texture. The citrus and fish combined perfectly for a nice light entree. The star was the Thai basil stir fry! It arrived at the table the perfect temp and the sauce was incredible! I can't wait to go back to try their curries and sushi selection ! A special shout out to Kwan for great service!! read more

While in Naples It was recommended that we try Komoon I was so happy that we did. The sashimi appetizer was one of the best I've had! The fish was fresh and the potions generous. Along with having that we also shared a spring roll and Crab Rangoon. The Pad Thai was delicious and the Pad Woon Sen. was outstanding. They also had a great selection of wine and craft cocktails. We arrived here with our party of seven on New Year's Eve thinking we had a reservation. Unfortunately they had no reservation-- I think mother-in-law called the wrong location. Hostess was super sweet and accommodating and still seated us immediately. Luckily the place was not too busy with eat in patrons but the hostess warned us that there was only one sushi chef working and he was doing a lot of takeout. We ordered the Komoon deluxe sushi platter for the table -- California roll, tekka roll and nigiri. Then came the difficult part -- what to order for an entree? The menu is HUGE and offers Japanese, Thai and Peruvian. It took me forever to decide. I ordered last -- the Pad Woon Sen Thai noodle dish with chicken which they could make gluten free for $2 extra. Husband ordered the same thing but with all the meats -- pork, beef, chicken and shrimp-- and chose the hot spice level which he said was perfect for him. Picky 15 year old ordered the chicken teriyaki and really liked it. Oldest son said the salmon teriyaki was some of the best he had ever had. Service was efficient and friendly despite there being only one sushi chef working. I was stuffed afterwards. Great place to celebrate New Year's. read more

Woahhhh!!! Horrible, horrible visit. The restaurant wasn't even busy. They took 10 minutes to come great us. The waitress took our order and 35 minutes later our food was no where to be found. She came and said to go orders are priority and there is a delay. 10 minutes later the table that got there after us get a sushi boat.... Turns out that's our boat. Think South Beach with Asian southern hospitality and Chef Ramsey. This place is comfortable enough to bring Kids yet ideal for a date night. Location is right on Immokalee rd and nestled in the brand new strip mall across from the hospital. There are plenty of other restaurants but this is the only Asian establishment. Owners are real nice people, experienced, they have two other locations, one in Bonita and the other off Pine Ridge in Naples. Food is amazing as expected for North Naples prices. All the usual delights are classic here from Pad Thai to sushi, to plenty of desserts. My favorite is Mango and sticky rice. If I'm too full to eat it there, I take it home. The menu is a thick book of various pleasures. Check them out online too. The bar is inviting even for a non drinker. Well stocked. Tip: If you check in on Yelp you get a free glass of wine Tip: They accept reservations online thru Yelp Staff is friendly and although they are bilingual, speak good English. Seating is a mix of stools, chairs and half booths. Have a feeling it will be a challenge to eat here during season due to the crowds so come now in the summer while you can get in. This place is amazing, I loved everything about it. First of, it looks very classy and stylish, I love when restaurants have a modern look and feel. The food was very fresh and delicious! They have a really good lunch menu with reasonably priced specials. It's also quite unique since they serve sushi, Thai and ceviche and you can create your own combo from those 3 types of food, unlike your typical 'pick 2 or 3 rolls'. I chose salmon roll and ceviche, it also came with miso soup and a little fried dumpling (yum!). The portions are a good size as well, I ate the soup and ceviche and was already full, so I got my salmon roll to go and ate it later. I was impressed how fresh the fish was in both roll and ceviche. Their service was one of the best I've ever experienced! Every server was very pleasant, always had a smile on their face and anticipated all of my needs! It really felt like their main goal was to actually take care of you and make sure you are satisfied. Venue is clean, beautiful with great service. We used to love this place. Today we had lomo saltado and were very disappointed. Their recipe has changed.
