A Fantastic First Visit - Happy Hour Done Right! I stumbled upon Lola 41 in Old Downtown Naples for their happy hour, which kicks off daily at 3:30 PM. I arrived a bit early - around 3:10 - and by 3:25 a small crowd had already started to gather, which tells you something about how popular this place is. Despite a little drizzle, people were eager to get in, and I quickly understood why. This was my first visit to Lola 41, and I was immediately struck by the space. The ambiance when you walk in is absolutely fabulous - beautifully designed and full of energy. The doors opened right at 3:31, and the bar filled up fast. As it turned out, they were celebrating their 2-year anniversary, which I had no idea about, but the buzz in the room made it feel like a special occasion. The bartending staff handled the rush with impressive efficiency - drinks were coming out quickly even as the place packed in. I thoroughly enjoyed my cocktail, and it delivered exactly what I was hoping for. I also ordered off the happy hour menu, and while there was a small mix-up with my food (completely understandable given the volume and the anniversary excitement), the staff was absolutely wonderful about it. They accommodated my request to have my order packed to go without any hesitation - and I have to say, once I got back to my hotel and dug in, I was not disappointed at all. For anyone visiting the Naples area, I highly recommend making Lola 41 a stop, even if just for happy hour. Grab a cocktail, try an appetizer, and I promise it will leave you wanting to come back for a full dinner. Food was excellent! The sushi is one of the best I have ever had. I am usually not a big salmon guy but Lola makes it taste so amazing. The seared salmon technique is so beyond delicious. The truffle fries were really good, but I would skip it for more rolls! The nigiri is a little expensive for only getting 2 pieces. The workers have great recommendations for the menu. Lola 41 is such a vibe. It's a sleek, upscale Asian spot with a gorgeous interior, and each room feels like it has its own distinct personality. We snagged seats in the high top bar area, which was perfect for sipping on beautifully crafted whisky cocktails while deciding what to order. The food absolutely delivered. My standout was the tuna crispy rice, which honestly blew Nobu's out of the water in my opinion. It paired perfectly with the salmon nigiri and edamame, making for a great lineup of light bites. I was blown away with how great of a place this establishment was the moment I walked in. We originally stopped by for a drink or two but my friend & I were so happy to experience happy hour before it ended. The edamame was delicious and plentiful. The spicy tuna roll however was a bit small and lacked that sushi taste I normally expect when ordering rolls. The cocktails were fire and I loved the both the Garden Party & Spicy Flamingo. The interior is so beautifully designed and maintained to keep that crisp, modern aesthetic. Fantastic! When you've had your fill of Italian restaurants in Old Naples--come here! The bar is very popular and the cocktail menu is unique. Of course they serve the classics and have an extensive list to call your liquor preference. Small plates to share (or not) allows everyone to create their own experience. Sushi menu is spot on. Again a mix of classics and special creations. Tuna Sashimi was delicious. Our group also loved the Broccolini Caesar (worth the trip alone), Salmon Lo Mein, and Crab and Shrimp Fried Rice. I rarely leave reviews, but what happened here was serious enough that I feel obligated to warn others. I placed an order and made it explicitly clear during the call that I have both a nut and sesame seed allergy. I was told this would not be a problem. When I picked up my order, none of the containers were labeled to indicate allergy handling -- which was already a red flag. When I opened what should have been my allergy-safe sushi roll and took a single bite, I immediately felt my throat becoming itchy. On closer inspection, there were black sesame seeds inside the roll. To make matters worse, my crispy rice had been mixed together with my friend's non-allergy-friendly order. I left that alone, but the fact that cross-contamination was already happening made it clear this wasn't an isolated slip. I called to make sure this wouldn't happen to someone else. The first two calls, I was cut off after one sentence of my allergies, was told they couldn't hear me, and then hung up on me. On the third call, I asked for a manager who was apparently already waiting -- which suggested they did hear me on the first two calls and hung up just to get back up. Rather than apologize, she told me I had only mentioned a nut allergy and never said sesame. That is simply not true. I asked if they could pull a transcript or recording of my original order call. The response was that she didn't think they have that. They offered to send a replacement roll. I declined. I was already feeling sick -- a new roll wasn't going to change that. What I actually needed was an acknowledgment that a mistake was made and assurance that steps would be taken so this doesn't happen to someone else. I never got either. If you have a food allergy, please be extremely cautious ordering here. read more

They have a deal on Sunday night where you get sushi bogo. If you have 6 or more people they put a large party tip of 20% on the retail of your bill not the discounted price. The waiter gets a big fat tip which is great if they are a good server but not so great if they are not. I think the tip should be on the discounted amount and if you think they are great tip more. read more

So far. I have not have a bad experience at Lola's. We went for their sushi which was surprisingly good. Their drinks are nice, some names are creative lol. It's chic, elegant and saucy lol. Great service! read more

Had high hopes for Lola 41, especially given their every Sunday 1/2 off all sushi deal. We didn't have a reservation and the place was almost full at 6pm on Sunday, but we were able to get one of the last tables. The atmosphere is nice, with bright red walls and interesting art. The service was also very good. However, the main attraction, the food, let us down. We tried several of the sushi rolls, including the rainbow roll, spicy tuna roll, spicy scallop roll, and others. I liked that there wasn't an overabundance of rice in the rolls, but the flavors just weren't there, and the texture of every roll was much chewier than it should have been. So the hunt for a good sushi restaurant in Naples continues. read more

This was a Wednesday evening in November. I brought my restaurant group from our Community located in Valencia Sound in Boynton Beach about 1 hour away. We were 3 couples seated at the perfect round table. It became very busy but luckily we were able to hear each other talk. We are neighbors and meeting each other for the first time. The venue is elegant and sophisticated. I was impressed and very excited to eat here at first glance. From the start there was complimentary valet service. The exterior is lined with beautiful lighting. It is located in the boutique White Elephant Hotel. The vibe was perfect. Daniella was our wonderful waitress who was knowledgeable and professional. We each ordered drinks: they have a full bar. The menu offers an array of specialty and classic sushi rolls. Paul and I had the spicy scallop - hokkaido scallop, spicy mayo, grilled bell pepper, romaine heart, shiso, pickled radish roll and the Anata - spicy tuna, cucumber, tempura crunchy, shiso, topped with tuna, wasabi aioli. We then had the delicious grilled octopus. There were so many wonderful options. Then we ordered a large plate of Grilled Salmon Lo mein - water chestnuts, snow peas, broccoli, carrot, bell pepper, sorrel... We shared everything. For dessert we had 2 scoops of vanilla and strawberry gelato. The group all agreed that the food, service and ambiance was a 5. It was well worth driving the hour to enjoy this elegant experience even though it was a bit pricey. Also I could see having a beautiful event here at their outside porch area. We went here on a Saturday last minute because it was a place I have been dying to try in the area. There were no reservations online but when I called the restaurant, the store manager did everything she could to make sure we had a table for our large group. She was so accommodating and didn't just stick us at a table either. She made sure we were comfortable. Lola 41 has a very intimate and fun vibe so its great for a date night, night out with the girls or a mixed group of friends. We all mostly got sushi and it was delicious. I loved the variety of rolls we were able to choose from. The only thing I would say it, as delicious as the food was, you are definitely paying Naples prices. We felt our sushi rolls were pretty small for 30+ dollars for a roll. Obviously we would absolutely go back, but more so as a treat! read more

First visit for us, The bar was lively but easy to live with. We were seated in the front "Red" room and I wished I had the knowledge of the outdoor patio as it looks way more inviting. The service was top notch and well paced. Wine selections were average and not well researched. They do have a full Sake menu as well. I didn't sample any. I have been dying to try this place because it is new in Naples. I was disappointed in the service but more disappointed in the food and the price attached to that food. The miso soup was not good. It did not taste like miso soup and had absolutely no flavor at all but yet they charge $10 for the little tiny cup. The roll was fair but I've had better with half the cost next door. I was mostly disappointed in the service. The noise level was not great and I do not think I will be back due to the ridiculously high cost that they are charging for their wine and their food. I could see if it was top-notch service and food, but it is not...it is fair. It may good for the seasonal people but the locals will get sick of this. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Lola 41. The manager Michele was unbelievably kind to us. I made a reservation the week before and confirmed it and when I got there, I found out I made the reservation in West Palm and not Naples. Michele, the manager was so gracious and said don't worry we will find you a table. They seated my husband and I at a four top and came over a few minutes later and asked if we would mind if they moved us to a two top since it was only he and I. We had no problem with that whatsoever, After we were sested at the 2 top the waitress said they are bringing over to complimentary drinks for the inconvenience. The waitress brought us two flutes of the Lola drink, which was wonderful, but absolutely not necessary. The weight staff, the management, and the ambience was fantastic not to mention the food being wonderful. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more
