Southridge Senior Lofts tenant 2 repairmen finally showed up this afternoon after 10 days. They claimed it was fixed; but it knocked loud enough to wake the dead. One repairman said we had to tolerate the noise. The elevator is not 10 years old. And it quit working within an hour after they drove away. Too bad Krone can't hire experienced repair people. This twice in a month that Krone left seniors to suffer hardship. Almost reflective of reflecting pool disaster. Makes you wonder if Krone is a legitimate company or a con. read more

Extremely unprofessional. Tech was snooty, rude, and arrogant. They are unable to diagnose problems much less fix them. They make it a habit of not showing up until their overtime rates go into effect at 3:00pm. When they explain things they speak in elevator lingo and you have to ask them to dumb it down a bit and explain in plain English, then they get short tempered. I don't want to put even one star. I had very bad experiments before but now there was no issue so I was silent. But this time all sudden interior lights gone and I asked about help. Because I don't know what has happened. They said "it's emergency so don't use it" then engineer guy came and something he move all sudden lights came back. He didn't check more detail and back office . They asked us $1'100 for this. WTF!!!! And getting worse the lights down again. We don't know it was light fixtures problem or electrical problem. That's why we contracted annual technical service . They might ask another thousand . This company is so corrupt like NYC. So shame we have no choice. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. First off, my building has 2 elevators and had scheduled the elevator motor replacement of one non working one several times over the past year - and there was always a delay including delivering the wrong motor to our building. As a result, we have been relying on a single working elevator this whole time, and very fortunately it held up. During my recent move, a Kone technician was parked in the loading zone. That would have been fine, but I was expecting a moving van and asked if he could move his vehicle back five feet. He wouldn't even look up from his phone and just kept shaking his head "no." I was shocked by how rude, unprofessional and dismissive he was. I was ultimately able to work out an alternative plan with help from the 311 parking enforcement officer, but this experience only deepened my already low opinion of Kone. I would never want to ride in an elevator this guy touched. read more

I live in a brand new building with a Kong elevator. It has been horrible since day one. Makes terrible noises and they say nothing is wrong. I would never buy in a building again with a Kobe elevator. read more

Our units have been down for about 2 years. We have called and called with no response. The only time we have had a response is because we left a message for the company VP. He assured us that things would be taken care of and here we are almost 3 months later and still no response from KONE. Don't get me started on our "Rep", she NEVER returns calls or provides updates. If I can stop one person from partnering with this company, I have done my due diligence. read more

Disorganized and they don't show up to appointments. Don't trust them to do anything except bill you.

The worst company ever, I would gave negative 5 star if I have that option. All they do is asking you for money, keep calling and harassing me for payment. But when I need service, I will not get any response for weeks, no one answer when I try to call, email, and texts the person. The technician can't follow instructions too. My elevator is out now, ask for service and told them to call me when arriving at building. They came after few days, then left without working on my elevator. Close my case and said door is locked, no access to building, I was inside the building, no one call me to open door for them, how you expect those fucker to fix something if they can't follow instructions read more

We use this company for our property and they have yet to fix our elevator Wednesday and they have yet to be here. Stated they would have an ETA for 8:30AM 4/25/24 and here we are at 9:42AM and no communication at all. I do not recommended! read more

These people are extremely shady and untrustworthy, on top of careless. Their men severely damaged a wall when fixing our building's elevator. Our super documented the damage and was told by Kone's field supervisor that it would be reported to the higher-ups for refunding our building the cost of the wall repair. Now, we are being given the run-around. Bayan Amera says he'll only deal with this if we have "video" evidence of the actual incident happening - which is utterly ridiculous - and his supervisor, John Wenzler, has ignored at least half a dozen messages and emails trying to follow up on this. Others who have ignored messages include Larry Kiefhaber. All of these people should lose their jobs, and no one should do business with this hack of a company, Kone. There are better, honest groups out there who will actually respond to clients and not damage their property to begin with. read more

This company is terrible and unresponsive. In the two years I have been in my building, the elevator never fails to go out during or around a holiday. They are in no hurry to fix the elevator either. Would recommend you stay far away from hiring this company. They are inefficient at doing their jobs and customer service is not a priority. read more

They lack communication and management. Are quick to send their bills/invoices but very little help when it comes to taking care of violations. It gets frustrating when trying to get problems resolved and they take their time....months or over a year to resolve it. read more

Very poor management, poor communication, poor department collaboration. The only thing that I guess still functioning well here is probably their accounting department. The bill is never late. The project that we have with Kone is always delaying, endless putting on hold for whatever reasons they can find. After sign the contract and pay the down payment, nobody is taking care of your case. You constantly can't find your sales person. When the project finally starts, it's almost three months later then the original date. When the sales person give you one schedule, the work team have their own schedule, and nobody will give you a heads up about the changes. Horrible experience. read more

What a horrible product. The Kone elevator in my Brooklyn periodically goes out of service since the building was completed two years ago. Then when you report the problem you get excuses and attitude. The repair personnel show up when they feel like, and you have to use the stairs until the weekend when they can get overtime. Next time I purchase I will ensure that Kone's name is not on the elevator. read more
