This family owned local business has donated so generously to our school fundraisers and I've been meaning to try them out. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I've had their milkshake only at my first visit which was so excellent; thick and creamy and oh-so-delicious[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], I was really looking forward to trying out the food. We ordered chicken strip meal, lamb burger set with onion rings, and a falafel burger (daily special size) meal. The food was generally good, but I didn't love how messy both lamb and falafel burgers were. My falafel burger was little too crumbly which made it difficult to eat and the lamb burger was not as juicy as I read in other review. It did have a TON of sauce on it which made the burger a little too salty for our palate. The chicken strips were also on the dry side. I love supporting local, small businesses so we'd likely come back to try their very good daily special and milkshakes. For now, I'll say there is definitely some room for improvement here. read more

I've been meaning to visit Kong! Burgers for the longest while but haven't made it there until now. I went with my cousins, who are regular customers. Here's what we had: Double Smash The Gorilla Up North Jalapeno Popper Smash The Canadiana Fries Sweet Potato Fries Onion Rings Milkshake Everything was really good, with great flavours. The burgers were juicy and delicious, and very well dressed. The onion rings, fries, and sweet potato fries were all really good. This was an excellent meal! We had the pleasure of checking out and dining at Kong Burger They are located in Scarborough on the border of Pickering just off Rylander and Kingston Rd in the Canadian Tire plaza There is seating inside to sit down which we chose to do It is small inside but there is enough seating for a sit down meal Most folks we saw that came in did take out The menu has a really good selection of burgers from custom made burgers to chicken sandwiches to even veggie burgers They have a menu with daily specials as well Given it was Friday the special was a fish burger but we chose not to try this time out [[HIGHLIGHT]]They also have a good selection of milkshakes to sip on as well[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I went with the Gorilla Up North burger combo which had back bacon, sautéed mushrooms and onions I made it a combo with onion rings Super super good Burger was juicy and toppings made it super good Onion rings were good And that was a regular size onion rings where you get an ample serving My wife had the Kong Burger with fries and she really enjoyed The young guy working the counter and making the milkshakes was super friendly and gave suggestions to the patrons from the menu and checked in to see how our meal was which you rarely get when eating at a burger joint Definitely will come back again for another round of burgers here and highly recommend them read more

An excellent family run restaurant with such great personalities. We had the chance to meet dad, son and daughter and they were all so nice. The food is so good. All of it! Milkshake was nice, the Parm fries are a must and the burgers or course were burgerlicious. The father explained where they get their beef and how meticulous they are about selection. They specialize in charbroiled burgers. They first cook them on the flat top and then hit it on the grill. The fat renders out and the delicious char flavor enters in. He mention the chicken will be the fluffiest and crispiest chicken I'll ever eat and he was damn right! All burgers and fries were perfectly seasoned and balanced. I visited this location today after a recommendation. I was absolutely blown away by the variety of burgers on the menu. The beef is ground in house daily. I spoke with owner and he definitely takes pride in providing quality products using locally sourced ingredients. They even try to be as Eco conscious as possible; All take out and dining items were biodegradable / recyclable. I had a lamb burger which was juicy and flavorful. The tzatziki was so good. The gorilla up noth burger was the perfect combination of toppings. Of course I had to try their poutine. The chicken Bacon ranch was loaded with toppings. The cheese was plentiful and the gravy flavorful. I'll definitely be returning to try of their other specialty burgers. The quality was just outstanding read more

This is a family owned and operated Burger diner. They specialize in beef and chicken burgers of various sizes. Of course, they also have ice cream products. They opened on 2024-02-09. I ordered a lunchtime (11:00-16:00) Spicy Chicken Burger with Fries and Drink Combo ($8.95). I upgraded the drink to a Strawberry Mango Shake (small +$3.00). The chicken is cooked in one fryer and then cooked in a second fryer. Before using the second fryer, the chicken is cut in the middle to make sure it is fully cooked. The Spicy Chicken was mildly spicy, so they can add extra hot sauce if you want it spicier. The chicken was crispy on the outside. The size is reasonable. They give a lot of fries in the combo. The fries are medium-sized and crispy on the outside. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The milkshake was made with 3 scoops of mango ice cream. The cup is lined with strawberry sauce. The cup is topped with whipped cream and more strawberry sauce. It tasted good.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service is really good. I was allowed to take a picture of the King Kong Burger (10oz). It was truly massive! There is adequate indoor seating.thrre are electrical outlets at most tables. There is easy listening music playing in the background. They don't use any plastics, only biodegradable disposables. The owners and brother-in-law have been working and owned restaurants for 45+ years now. There is free WiFi. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, but there is no door-open button. There are two gender-neutral washrooms, one of which is wheelchair accessible.
