This place has changed since it opened. The rice was hard several months ago, but they took it to heart and adjusted. Then they made some crazy deals on their menu which makes me want to come back to try each menu item. $10 soon dubu(so far so good, gotta try the other varieties), $10 kimchi chiggae(delicious and tangy), $5 corn cheese, $5 steamed egg, and $15 yangnam gejang aka spicy raw marinated crab. Definitely a great place to eat and I'll keep coming back for their $10 deals. Next to try is the curry and the jjajang bap. The service was decent and fast. The ambiance is chill and not dissimilar to other korean restaurants. For the price and quality, this is a must try. Korean Eatery Made in Korea has made some change to their menu. And believe it or not, the prices have gone down! How is this possible? They do advertise that they have $10 soups and they really do! It is hit or miss with the banchan though, sometimes you get only three and other times you get more. But $10 tofu soups, $10 dumpling soups are definitely a plus. We tried to order a Tofu Soup with no spice and the waitress took the order and repeated the no spice confirmation. However, when we got it, it was definitely red and had spice. She confirmed that she told them no spice but the kitchen still did it that way. (We've been to different places where some can do no spice and others say it's not possible.) Instead of returning it, the Little Gal tried to eat as much as she good. The Rice Cake and Dumpling Soup was quite generous with the rice cakes. I definitely had leftovers to take home. Their Dolsot Bibimbap is generous with a large shallow bowl and it's definitely hot enough to get a really good crisp on the rice. A new dish I got to try recently was their Creamy Champong $17. It was loaded with seafood and quite generous. I was able to take home the leftovers and add more noodles to make a second dish for myself. It is quite heavy with the cream base though. Service - There are definitely some servers that are more efficient than others. We had one waitress on two different occasions who would just forget things, so she's a bit absent-minded. Always craving soondubu jjigae when it's cold outside. This seemed like a hidden gem to us. We came in around 6:30pm on a Saturday. There was no line, and just half of the tables were filled. The place looked clean and had a welcoming ambiance. Jjajangbap | Generous amount of flavorful vegetables, meat and sauce. Despite its toasty and smoky flavor, it did not taste burnt. The black bean sauce was complemented by the rice's slightly chewy and sticky texture. Seafood Pancake | The portion was larger compared to similar establishments. The thick pancake was cooked to crisp with a generous portion of seafood. Seafood Tofu Soup | The smooth and silky tofu provided added a slight creaminess to the soup. The squid and pork were tender, just wish there was a little more meat, since this was about 60-70% onion and other veggies - Soup (can't remember exactly what it was called, but it was one of the specials printed on a paper). 4/5: a good simple bone broth, nice and rich, not too salty or strong on flavor, but I think that's how it's supposed to be. I'm guessing some of these reviews are fake. I had the pork soon dubu. Flavor was good but this has to be the first place I have ever been to that used ground pork. For the price seemed really cheap. The sides are very average. Service definitely is lacking. The older female server sounds pleasant, but the rest of her looks like customers are bothering her. Never makes eye contact, only took my order and brought the food, didn't come back to ask me if I wanted more sides. When I went to pay, didn't ask how my meal was, said nothing, only acknowledged me when I skied for a receipt. It's summer in Vegas and we came here for Mool Naeng Myun (Cold Beef Soup) and Spicy Beef Soup (which is also cold). If you haven't had this, its may be weird if it's your first time but its as the description says, a cold noodle soup. There's not too many places that have this refreshing dish in the southern area and this is one of them. The portion is pretty big and it's almost too much at one point. A delightful and pleasant experience for lunch with my girlfriend. We were looking for some korean food outside of kbbq and this place was our exact match. Super clean and modern place. Everything is brand new down to the spoon coverings. Greeted upon entry and menu is pretty extensive. Huge selection of items and there is no rush as there is a button to grab your waiters attention when you need something or want to order. We ended up getting the cold spicy noodle, kimchi fried rice, bulgolgi and kimchi soup. The cold spicy noodle was so refreshing because of the heat. All the flavor points were there -- every bite was delicious. They even have a sugar free soju which was nice to see! Service was attentive and even included a nice array of side dishes. Restaurants that have opened in this location typically didn't survive very long, but there's reasons to believe this will be different! This Korean restaurant is the second in the plaza, just around the corner to Soyo, and definitely provides a better experience when it comes to taste. The establishment also has a modern design and gives it an upscale feeling. We go there late evening and it was still quite busy, so we had to wait a bit before being seated. They don't have too big of a menu, so choices were limited. We decided to go with the kimchi pancake and Korean dumplings for appetizers, along with beef bone broth soup, seafood tofu soup, and beef tofu soup. It took a bit of time for the food to get here, but they were delicious! Everything tasted authentic and fresh, and definitely made from scratch and not store bought. The only negative was the service, as it was slow to get someone to come to our table to take our order and get our food/water, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. Banchans: Their banchans (salad, fish cakes, kimchi, japchae, and spicy radish) were really good that I wanted more. It paired well with the meats that we ordered. Boiled Pork Belly ($12): This was really good and the best thing we ate here. Spicy Pork ($6): I haven't seen any other Korean restaurants offer side dish meats for this price and they gave a pretty decent amount. The spicy pork was good but paled in comparison the to boiled pork belly. Mixed Ox Bone Soup ($22): They gave a lot of meat but the soup was bland so I like adding kimchi in it to give it more flavor. That's not to say it isn't good. I ordered the white champong and tonkatsu. The tonkatsu was standard, nothing to write home about standard fare, sauce was average for a korean style tonkatsu. What I thought was upsetting was when they served the corn salad with the tonkatsu, the corn was discolored and shriveled. If the business was going to serve this kind of crap, don't serve it at all. White champong was concerning. The broth wasn't clean, scum was floating all around the edges of the bowl, crab was just mush, mussels and shrimp rubbery, and the broth had a fishy smell. Noodles were ok and wasn't something to be wowed at tasted like pre packaged noodles you can get from greenland and make it at home. Service was below average. My husband and I are so glad we found a new authentic Korean restaurant in the Southwest! We did not have to make a reservation even though we came on a Friday evening. The interior of the restaurant is modern and they have buttons on each table to summon the servers. The servers were attentive and friendly. We ordered the Kimchi Fried Rice, Bulgogi Stew, and the Tofu Stew with Dumplings. The Kimchi Fried Rice is phenomenal! It's probably one of the best Kimchi Fried Rice dishes I've hard in Las Vegas. It's a bit spicy but it was flavorful and is enough for two people to share. The Bulgogi Stew is my favorite; there was a lot of meat and little fat, and the broth was sweet and flavorful. It is served in a hotpot so it took at least 10 minutes for it to cool down. My husband ordered the Tofu Stew with dumplings and he said it was pretty spicy; paired with the Kimchi Fried Rice, he suggested ordering only one and sticking with it. However, he said the Tofu Stew was delicious and the dumplings were cooked well. I would have to give everything we ordered here a 5 out of 5, including the side dishes. The restaurant is clean, inviting, had a fun K-pop playlist playing in the background, and the staff were on point with checking up on us to make sure everything was good. This is a Korean restaurant that serves very popular street food and comfort food dishes like tofu stew and rice cakes. It's pretty cute. Very spacious and spaced out seating so you don't feel cramped which is nice. I did tofu stew with beef and a pancake to go, the seafood one. I didn't love the seafood pancake sauce but the pancake itself was nice. I wish it was crispier but we did take it to go. Also the sauce wasn't my favorite idk if it's common to just serve t with a soy based sauce but it was okay. Just personal preference though. It had a good amount of scallions and seafood. The seafood stew was solid. Not great but good. It was pretty mild in flavor and I like it more flavorful. It was a good spice for the price. Their banchan was good and their rice was good. I've came here to eat several times since I first discovered this place 5 months ago. The food here has been consistently good. My husband and I both are obsessed with the ox bone broth (Seolloengtang) with brisket. The broth is rich and filling. They are very generous with the meat in the soup. I also love that it's homemade with clean and healthy ingredients and comes out unseasoned. Their banchan is also one of the best in all of Vegas, made in house, fresh and flavorful. You know the food is nutritious and good quality when you leave full and satisfied, which I always do. Seolleongtang is probably my number 1 top comfort foods. And I would probably come here at least once a week if I didn't live so far. There is a new trend in Las Vegas that is growing at a rapid pace - overprice and under-compensate. Made in Korea is the last bastion of defense against this blasphemy. Almost everything is shareable. That $14 soup you ordered? Portion is big enough for two. That bibimbap? Huge portions. That boiled pork belly? Great deal and can be shared. It's hilarious because the first time I tried this restaurant out, the lady next to me had complained to the server that she was barely able to make a dent into her bowl of soup, and that she needed to take a big bowl home. Haha! Apart from the price point, the actual food itself was delicious. Not too greasy, very homey. I felt like I could eat and go back home feeling content without wanting to pass out from oil and msg like other similar restaurants. The creamy seafood jjamppong is my personal favorite. I would recommend trying this place to anyone that wants to eat good food at a good price with your family. The modern stylich black interior and furniture is chic and cool. It has about 20 tables and the Bathroom was well maintained. I had Yukgejang (spicy beef and veggie soup). Surprisingly, they didn't spare the ingredients! bracken (fern), radish, green onions, beef, egg, etc. The portion was good, I could have split it as a 2 servings. I asked for extra spicy, the extra secret sauce given was perfect spice level for me! The serving staff was extremely friendly, quick and checked on us in a timely manner. * They just started serving alcohol so you can drink Soju and Korean beers as well! I had some high expectations before coming to this place from reading all the good reviews but that's probably why I felt let down. We ordered steam egg, beef bulgogi and ham&sausage tofu soup, none of the dishes we got tasted bad however I'm just not a fan of adding too much in the steam egg and the tofu soup, it became overbearing to me, I love steam egg just not with so much topping; it ruined the texture for me, the soup was mediocre for my liking, their beef bulgogi was probably my favorite out of everything we ordered. Service was ok, I think we went around the time their employees have lunch (around 3pm) so I didn't complain much but it did take a solid 15 minutes before someone finally noticed that we needed the check, they do keep the restaurant nice and clean but I don't think I will want to come back, I will stick with the other Korean restaurants in China town read more

4-8-2024 Food servers fast and friendly. Everything we ordered was simply delicious! Portion size was generous and we could not finish our lunch. Brought the rest home for another meal. read more
