A nice stop for some good Korean food! Ordered the: - Jjajangmyeon black bean noodle 4/5: flavorful blackbean sauce and nice of veggies and meat and veggies. Good noodle texture. - Spicy squid & pork belly 5/5: super flavorful, sweet and spicy. This is always my favorite thing to order at Korean restaurants! The squid and pork were tender, just wish there was a little more meat, since this was about 60-70% onion and other veggies - Soup (can't remember exactly what it was called, but it was one of the specials printed on a paper). 4/5: a good simple bone broth, nice and rich, not too salty or strong on flavor, but I think that's how it's supposed to be. It does come with some rice noodle at the bottom and a few slices of meat. Comes out bubbling hot! Service is good, you can order from the front or they will come around to your table. Restaurant is clean and is decorated nicely with cool black wall accents and black tabletops. Give them a try!

I'm guessing some of these reviews are fake. I had the pork soon dubu. Flavor was good but this has to be the first place I have ever been to that used ground pork. For the price seemed really cheap. The sides are very average. Service definitely is lacking. The older female server sounds pleasant, but the rest of her looks like customers are bothering her. Never makes eye contact, only took my order and brought the food, didn't come back to ask me if I wanted more sides. When I went to pay, didn't ask how my meal was, said nothing, only acknowledged me when I skied for a receipt. This was bad enough, but what really got me was the Hispanic kitchen worker with the black t-shirt and cap. He was on the right of the kitchen and was making a soup. He used a long spoon to taste it and then used the same spoon to taste it again.

It's summer in Vegas and we came here for Mool Naeng Myun (Cold Beef Soup) and Spicy Beef Soup (which is also cold). If you haven't had this, its may be weird if it's your first time but its as the description says, a cold noodle soup. There's not too many places that have this refreshing dish in the southern area and this is one of them. The portion is pretty big and it's almost too much at one point. The thing that this place miss was its bad kimchi. Not sure if it was just that but it started to make the taste of everything else off. Other than that this place is a cool spot that has nice decor. The service was nice and I feel like this would be a good low key drinking spot.

Found a small Korean spot and we had to try it. Simple decoration inside. The tables were dark so it really showcased the food. The service was quick and awesome. They have a button on table for service. Staff were super friendly. The food was amazing. I got a small pork belly. My son got kfc soy garlic chicken. My wife got dolsot bibimbap. My other son got corn cheese and truffle fries. We got a kimchi pancake and it was huge. Everyone one of us loved our food. I finished the small order of boiled pork belly and 2 pieces of kimchi pancake. It melted in my mouth like butter! Thank you Korean Eatery Made in Korea! We'll be back soon.

A delightful and pleasant experience for lunch with my girlfriend. We were looking for some korean food outside of kbbq and this place was our exact match. Super clean and modern place. Everything is brand new down to the spoon coverings. Greeted upon entry and menu is pretty extensive. Huge selection of items and there is no rush as there is a button to grab your waiters attention when you need something or want to order. We ended up getting the cold spicy noodle, kimchi fried rice, bulgolgi and kimchi soup. The cold spicy noodle was so refreshing because of the heat. All the flavor points were there -- every bite was delicious. They even have a sugar free soju which was nice to see! Service was attentive and even included a nice array of side dishes. Had a great time there. Love all the little details when you come here. 10/10 Will be back!

Restaurants that have opened in this location typically didn't survive very long, but there's reasons to believe this will be different! This Korean restaurant is the second in the plaza, just around the corner to Soyo, and definitely provides a better experience when it comes to taste. The establishment also has a modern design and gives it an upscale feeling. We go there late evening and it was still quite busy, so we had to wait a bit before being seated. They don't have too big of a menu, so choices were limited. We decided to go with the kimchi pancake and Korean dumplings for appetizers, along with beef bone broth soup, seafood tofu soup, and beef tofu soup. It took a bit of time for the food to get here, but they were delicious! Everything tasted authentic and fresh, and definitely made from scratch and not store bought. The only negative was the service, as it was slow to get someone to come to our table to take our order and get our food/water, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise I'd definitely be back again soon!

We got seated right away for a party of 10 on a Saturday night. Menu had a lot of choices. The hot pot family size is a great option and bulgogi was delicious. Bonchon choices were great too, Kim chee was a 10! Service was ok, we had to flag server a few times. They include 20% gratuity for large party, not sure what the minimum was for a large party. Would definitely come back.

We tried a few items: Pork belly lettuce wrap- this was good but we found that some lettuce had a clear slime from the leaves. Bibimbap- this was one of my favorite, their bibimbap was really good and flavorful Galbi jim- the beef was tender but the sauce was more on the sweeter side which can over power the other dishes. It was good. Squid- the sauce of this is also on the sweeter side and had a lot of veggies mixed in. Still good though. Steamed egg- this was good and one of my favs too. Kfc- we got the soy flavor and it was very flavorful but not crunchy. Really happy I got to try this spot. Would probably come back here for the bibimbap. The service was really good too and the staff was attentive.

We came around 3 PM so it was pretty empty. We asked to sit at the back of the restaurant where they have 2 tables kinda sectioned off for a party of 8. We were a party of 4 and would only use one table on one side but the lady was very hesitant to give us that table, telling us that it was reserved for bigger parties. If it was 5/6 PM, I would understand but the restaurant was literally empty and it's not like a hole in the wall. Besides that, the service was fine. Banchans: Their banchans (salad, fish cakes, kimchi, japchae, and spicy radish) were really good that I wanted more. It paired well with the meats that we ordered. Boiled Pork Belly ($12): This was really good and the best thing we ate here. Spicy Pork ($6): I haven't seen any other Korean restaurants offer side dish meats for this price and they gave a pretty decent amount. The spicy pork was good but paled in comparison the to boiled pork belly. Mixed Ox Bone Soup ($22): They gave a lot of meat but the soup was bland so I like adding kimchi in it to give it more flavor. That's not to say it isn't good. My husband and I are used to eating umami food so that's probably why the taste is band to us. I tried this soup many times for the health benefits but my taste buds just can't get on board lol

Beautiful place I came across today and so glad that I found as well! Craving some Korean food today and decided to visit today. I think this used to be a seafood boil place? Upon coming in, it was very clean and spacious! It was around 6pm on a Friday and it was not busy at all so we were greeted and seated immediately. Let me tell you about this place, service was exceptional. The gentleman who helped us was so attentive and friendly that I feel so horrible for not asking for his name. My fiancé and I ordered the following: small pork boiled belly, spicy pork, and the premium brisket oxtail ox bone soup. All were soooo good especially the pork belly. It tasted so clean and tender, it literally melts in your mouth. The ox soup broth was also very clean and hot! Fresh and delicious... now let me tell you about their sides. Massive portions and all so tasty. The fact that they had WHITE kimchi was so cool bc it's often not found in the restaurants here in Vegas so to find it here was such a great experience! Overall I'd come back and recommend this to people who are looking to eat yummy food without having to go to Chinatown or wait so long just to get seated.

My Korean husband chose to get take out from here. And it was a good choice. He ordered seafood pancake, yuk gae jang, and galbi tang. Pros- the food was delicious, authentic, flavorful. The seafood pancake was packed with seafood including squid and shrimp. The yuk gae jang was very tasty. The galbi tang had a good portion of meat. The meat literally fell off the bone. Everything was packaged very well for take out order. They were fast and efficient. Cons- they were stingy with their kimchi/banchan. Considering we ordered 2 entrees and an appetizer, there really should've been more banchan. They gave enough for one person and one order. Food was also on the saltier end as I noticed I was very thirsty after the meal. Overall though we would come back. Food was good for what it was and convenient.

They have $10 tofu soup and other soups. Their other food options are cheaper compared to other places. Came on a Thursday night and it was completely dead. The soup was alright, i prefer more soup instead of lots of onions/zucchini in it. The flavor was lacking a little. Younger lady that took our order was very nice. The only thing i wish they did was give more banchans. They only give 3 total

The server forgot our meat orders three separate times. Nobody came to take our next meat order even after we finished what we had; when I raised my hand to call a server, they saw me and still didn't come over. Because of that, we had to wait more than five minutes just to place our next meat order after finishing the first round. Our appetizers didn't come out until we had already finished grilling and eating an entire round of meat; when we finally asked about them, only then did they bring a few out, mentioning that two of the items were unavailable. On top of that, our final meat order never showed up, and when we asked, they said they would check on it--only then was it brought out. This was hands down the worst service I have ever experienced at a Korean BBQ restaurant.

Didn't seem a lot of people that night which is fine with me. Walked in and the vibe of the place was a normal Korean bar restaurant like you can find on spring mountain. Or in South Korea. Ambiance was nice, very dim and music was just right with a lot of Korean pop music videos playing in the tvs. Hostess/waitress said we could sit anywhere as we sat in the booth, a little dirty but it wasn't too bad. Server gave us the menus and told us we could use the tablet on the wall to order. Drinks needed to be ordered from the server as the tablet only had food items. Ordered many dishes like Kim chi fried rice (it was okay). Wasn't spicy enough. Kalbi was really good. Very favorable and temperature was hot. Some of my family had kimchi seafood soup and said it was spicy but good. Overall it was an okay experience. Cost of everything we ordered was $115 and it was reasonable. Honestly this place would be great for weekends with friends and drinks to hang out at while eating some finger foods. Overall I would go again but with friends who can drink soju.

So when I saw a Hippo Grill was in the area while in the southwest part if the valley, I knew I had to give it a try. I had taken a look at the menu on line before coming in so I knew what to expect by way of food. What I did not expect was that this is a takeout place only. No seating inside whatsoever. This normally wouldn't be a problem for me as I often prefer taking my food home. But home is on the opposite side of the valley. Oh, what to do. I did end up ordering and figured I would eat in the parking lot. I got a mixed plate of bulgogi and mandoo for my entrees. Kimchi, cucumber kimchi, japchae and mac salad for my 4 sides. Yes, it is as much food as it sounds. And yes I dod eat in the car. Well, the mandoo anyhow. The rest of it was really kind if difficult ti eat in the car. It was too hot outside anyhow. So mandoo and gone. I took the rest home. When I got home the rice and meat were still pretty warm but I started in with the japchae since that was the craving that brought me in. Delicious. Exactly what I was looking for. Bulgogi was up next. Tender and slightly sweet. Could have used a touch of salt. Creamy mac salad up next followed by the kimchis. The cucumber was had a hint of sweetness vs the cabbage kimchi. Both were great. I had to force myself to stop eating everything and save some for later. It was so good I didn't want to stop. The leftovers made for a good lunch the next day. Service was excellent in the store. The food was quite good. It is fortunately unfortunate that Hippo Grill is not located in Henderson. On one it would be awesome to have a place like this near home. One the hand, I'd probably spend too much if there was. I would definitely like to go back and try a few more items.
