Tofu Soup - Tofu Soup (Seafood), Jja Jang (Black Bean Sauce)
    Maria M.

Always craving soondubu jjigae when it's cold outside. This seemed like a hidden gem to us. We came in around 6:30pm on a Saturday. There was no line, and just half of the tables were filled. The place looked clean and had a welcoming ambiance. Jjajangbap | Generous amount of flavorful vegetables, meat and sauce. Despite its toasty and smoky flavor, it did not taste burnt. The black bean sauce was complemented by the rice's slightly chewy and sticky texture. Seafood Pancake | The portion was larger compared to similar establishments. The thick pancake was cooked to crisp with a generous portion of seafood. Seafood Tofu Soup | The smooth and silky tofu provided added a slight creaminess to the soup. The seafood was plentiful as well. Menu: Although the menu appeared to be limited at first glance, the essential Korean pub dishes were served. Soups, pancakes, hot pot, grilled meats and KFC were available. Service: The server was kind and way too funny. Orders came out quick. Our dinner was enjoyable even though some orders were unavailable because of a shortage of certain ingredients. Parking: Plenty in the parking lot Highly recommend!

A nice stop for some good Korean food! Ordered the: - Jjajangmyeon black bean noodle 4/5: flavorful blackbean sauce and nice of veggies and meat and veggies. Good noodle texture. - Spicy squid & pork belly 5/5: super flavorful, sweet and spicy. This is always my favorite thing to order at Korean restaurants! The squid and pork were tender, just wish there was a little more meat, since this was about 60-70% onion and other veggies - Soup (can't remember exactly what it was called, but it was one of the specials printed on a paper). 4/5: a good simple bone broth, nice and rich, not too salty or strong on flavor, but I think that's how it's supposed to be. It does come with some rice noodle at the bottom and a few slices of meat. Comes out bubbling hot! Service is good, you can order from the front or they will come around to your table. Restaurant is clean and is decorated nicely with cool black wall accents and black tabletops. Give them a try!

I'm guessing some of these reviews are fake. I had the pork soon dubu. Flavor was good but this has to be the first place I have ever been to that used ground pork. For the price seemed really cheap. The sides are very average. Service definitely is lacking. The older female server sounds pleasant, but the rest of her looks like customers are bothering her. Never makes eye contact, only took my order and brought the food, didn't come back to ask me if I wanted more sides. When I went to pay, didn't ask how my meal was, said nothing, only acknowledged me when I skied for a receipt. This was bad enough, but what really got me was the Hispanic kitchen worker with the black t-shirt and cap. He was on the right of the kitchen and was making a soup. He used a long spoon to taste it and then used the same spoon to taste it again.

It's summer in Vegas and we came here for Mool Naeng Myun (Cold Beef Soup) and Spicy Beef Soup (which is also cold). If you haven't had this, its may be weird if it's your first time but its as the description says, a cold noodle soup. There's not too many places that have this refreshing dish in the southern area and this is one of them. The portion is pretty big and it's almost too much at one point. The thing that this place miss was its bad kimchi. Not sure if it was just that but it started to make the taste of everything else off. Other than that this place is a cool spot that has nice decor. The service was nice and I feel like this would be a good low key drinking spot.

Found a small Korean spot and we had to try it. Simple decoration inside. The tables were dark so it really showcased the food. The service was quick and awesome. They have a button on table for service. Staff were super friendly. The food was amazing. I got a small pork belly. My son got kfc soy garlic chicken. My wife got dolsot bibimbap. My other son got corn cheese and truffle fries. We got a kimchi pancake and it was huge. Everyone one of us loved our food. I finished the small order of boiled pork belly and 2 pieces of kimchi pancake. It melted in my mouth like butter! Thank you Korean Eatery Made in Korea! We'll be back soon.

A delightful and pleasant experience for lunch with my girlfriend. We were looking for some korean food outside of kbbq and this place was our exact match. Super clean and modern place. Everything is brand new down to the spoon coverings. Greeted upon entry and menu is pretty extensive. Huge selection of items and there is no rush as there is a button to grab your waiters attention when you need something or want to order. We ended up getting the cold spicy noodle, kimchi fried rice, bulgolgi and kimchi soup. The cold spicy noodle was so refreshing because of the heat. All the flavor points were there -- every bite was delicious. They even have a sugar free soju which was nice to see! Service was attentive and even included a nice array of side dishes. Had a great time there. Love all the little details when you come here. 10/10 Will be back!

Restaurants that have opened in this location typically didn't survive very long, but there's reasons to believe this will be different! This Korean restaurant is the second in the plaza, just around the corner to Soyo, and definitely provides a better experience when it comes to taste. The establishment also has a modern design and gives it an upscale feeling. We go there late evening and it was still quite busy, so we had to wait a bit before being seated. They don't have too big of a menu, so choices were limited. We decided to go with the kimchi pancake and Korean dumplings for appetizers, along with beef bone broth soup, seafood tofu soup, and beef tofu soup. It took a bit of time for the food to get here, but they were delicious! Everything tasted authentic and fresh, and definitely made from scratch and not store bought. The only negative was the service, as it was slow to get someone to come to our table to take our order and get our food/water, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise I'd definitely be back again soon!

We got seated right away for a party of 10 on a Saturday night. Menu had a lot of choices. The hot pot family size is a great option and bulgogi was delicious. Bonchon choices were great too, Kim chee was a 10! Service was ok, we had to flag server a few times. They include 20% gratuity for large party, not sure what the minimum was for a large party. Would definitely come back.

ATTENTION. Changed ownership today. Do not call in orders. Online orders are not going to them. New menu. We ordered the combo tofu soups. The tofu soup is fine just mild is very spicy The Galbi is ok, just a bit fatty. However the beef bulgogi is pretty sad. Looks like a stir fry. Time will tell of this new owner will survive. But it's not looking for the first day.

We tried a few items: Pork belly lettuce wrap- this was good but we found that some lettuce had a clear slime from the leaves. Bibimbap- this was one of my favorite, their bibimbap was really good and flavorful Galbi jim- the beef was tender but the sauce was more on the sweeter side which can over power the other dishes. It was good. Squid- the sauce of this is also on the sweeter side and had a lot of veggies mixed in. Still good though. Steamed egg- this was good and one of my favs too. Kfc- we got the soy flavor and it was very flavorful but not crunchy. Really happy I got to try this spot. Would probably come back here for the bibimbap. The service was really good too and the staff was attentive.

They have $10 tofu soup and other soups. Their other food options are cheaper compared to other places. Came on a Thursday night and it was completely dead. The soup was alright, i prefer more soup instead of lots of onions/zucchini in it. The flavor was lacking a little. Younger lady that took our order was very nice. The only thing i wish they did was give more banchans. They only give 3 total

    Angelica L.

We came around 3 PM so it was pretty empty. We asked to sit at the back of the restaurant where they have 2 tables kinda sectioned off for a party of 8. We were a party of 4 and would only use one table on one side but the lady was very hesitant to give us that table, telling us that it was reserved for bigger parties. If it was 5/6 PM, I would understand but the restaurant was literally empty and it's not like a hole in the wall. Besides that, the service was fine. Banchans: Their banchans (salad, fish cakes, kimchi, japchae, and spicy radish) were really good that I wanted more. It paired well with the meats that we ordered. Boiled Pork Belly ($12): This was really good and the best thing we ate here. Spicy Pork ($6): I haven't seen any other Korean restaurants offer side dish meats for this price and they gave a pretty decent amount. The spicy pork was good but paled in comparison the to boiled pork belly. Mixed Ox Bone Soup ($22): They gave a lot of meat but the soup was bland so I like adding kimchi in it to give it more flavor. That's not to say it isn't good. My husband and I are used to eating umami food so that's probably why the taste is band to us. I tried this soup many times for the health benefits but my taste buds just can't get on board lol

I added, regular and cheese rice cakes, fish cakes, wide glass noodles, quail eggs, green onion with rose sauce - for the sauce I did the rose and regular spice level. Everything was delicious! I was surprised how crunch and good the regular chicken wing was. The seaweed roll came with a side of soy sauce and it wasn't bad, but probably my least favorite. The dduk bok e though was delicious! I would totally get it again! I could probably do the spicy level since the regular wasn't spicy at all. I will definitely be coming back!

The assortment of banchan was fresh and flavorful, particularly the crisp radish kimchi and cucumber kimchi. By the time we left, the place had every table occupied. So, it can be hit and miss if you will have to wait - just note that. There are three different types of tables - there's bench seating where there is no lean back, booths with lean backs, and tables with metal chairs. While they had a tv with K-Pop on, there was zero volume so there's no music which would have helped the ambiance. The sounds of the restaurant was the conversations around you. While the lady tried to seat us at a bench table, we requested seating with a back so we can feel more comfortable, she obliged and we sat at a circle table with the grill in the middle. Quite quickly, water cups and water was provided along with your standard K-BBQ utensils and plates. We started with steamed eggs, salad, a few of the sides such as fish cake, bean sprouts, and cucumbers, rice, brisket and galbi. I will note that the steamed egg and salad is a favorite of ours at all other K-BBQ places so I was bummed out that the steamed egg was limited 1 per person here and that the salad was 1 per table. I haven't been to any other K-BBQ place where the egg and salad were limited. I was surprised. The steamed egg was very good - it came out steaming hot and fluffy. It tasted really good when you use one of the sauces that they bring you as well. The salad had a nice refreshing taste of the standard K-BBQ salad dressing and I liked the sesame oil flavor that I'm pretty sure was in it. If you don't like to eat loads of rice at K-BBQ (we don't because it makes us too full) - the menu also allows for 1 order of side lettuce so this helps you get more greens in. The brisket was good - as normal, a little fat on the sides of each slice but you can scissor that right off. The beef bulgogi was very tasty. I thought it was well marinated and had more flavor than other K-BBQ places. The galbi also had a good marinade. We also tried the salted short rib and the marinated short rib. I couldn't really taste much difference honestly, but I really liked the dipping sauces and used the heck out of them. We ended with desserts and it's nice that there's 3 types of desserts and multiple flavors with each. You can have ice cream, the popsicles, or mochi ice cream. We had 1 strawberry ice cream and 1 strawberry mochi ice cream. They came out a big frozen so our grill was on the cool down mode enough to where we could sit our desserts on the side of the grill to defrost it a little. The desserts were tasty. The service was pretty good throughout the dinner. I would say that they are there enough to get your items. Other K-BBQ places might visit your table a tad more, but I would say I wasn't missing anything and got to order everything that I wanted. When they drop your items off they don't really say much so it's up to you to know what you ordered. Overall - Doh is a solid K-BBQ place.
