Asian Yummy
Mark M.

I was driving by and Asian food seemed like a good choice. This was my first visit here. On a Friday afternoon, it was fairly quiet, and I was the only customer. I tried a couple of different rolls. The Vegetable Spring Roll was a disappointment with the vegetables being closer to mush than distinctly cut and crunchy. The Pork Egg Roll was better, with the meat taste clearly coming through. My House Special Pad Thai entree was filling. There were plenty of rice noodles and meats, vegetables, and egg. The Pad Thai was not very spicy (which is to be expected) but good tasting.

Mood - dinner Upon entering was greeted with great customer service. Was given the option to sit wherever we chose, and given menus. Opted for the Pu Pu Platter, house fried rice, sweetheart sushi, plus original Thai Tea from a can. Nothing disappointed in the slightest. The teriyaki beef sticks were my highlight, along with that tea. I had never tried it before and was pleased. Interior is a long booth back with accommodating tables and chairs. Television was playing in the background. Everything was very clean. The table was very well taken care of. Would recommend- pricing was reasonable Location is Flamingo/ Durango- ample parking

Chances are you are like me and first welcomed the owner change, new name and new menu with some apprehension. However I still come here as regurlarly as I was when it was operating as " sweet and spicy " and not because of location convenience etc but really because the food is still quality and well priced. I have not tried the whole menu yet but I already have my go-to item and actually crave to come back for it once a week - the veggie soup, healthy and yummy broth. Didn't think I would ever go to a specific restaurant for their veggie soup, but Asian Yummy made it happen ! Don't hold grudges, sweet and spicy is gone, give these guys a chance

Came in to eat for dinner. Used to come here before it was Asian Yummy and the menu now has a lot of different options to choose from. Definitely an asian fusion because they offer Thai, Japanese, Chinese, etc. My girlfriend and I got egg drop soup, pepper steak, shrimp fried rice, and orange chicken. Food was really good and tasty ! Portion size was pretty nice as well. Interior- the decor was nice. Also very clean on the inside ! A+ Service could improve- we were the only people in the restaurant- the server brought our check while we were still eating lol. Overall the food was good and we will definitely be back !

Chewy beef and old tasting rice.

We were trrying to find a place for soup since my friend had a cold so we decided on chinese won ton soup. He ordered it from this place that we had never eaten at before. I usually only pick restuarnats that have several hundred review and this place only had 11. The delivery guy cane to my door when we had specified on the notes to meet my friend at the apt office so that was annoying bc he did not follow our directions and I was in my pajamas ugh. The soup was not great-I only ate one wonton. It was not in the usual chicken soup type of broth it wasnt that tasty. The chicken fried rice was not fluffy n fresh-some rice pieces were crunchy hard meaning not even cooked-tasted old. Only a few pieces of chicken in the rice so that was disappointing. Then the fortune cookies had "ads" not the typical cute saying it was adds for Purple mattresses. Ugh come on-really. Overall not impressed and we will not be going back herr. Way too many Chinese places all over Vegas I demand higher quality.

Dining area...clean and cute.

Having a late lunch today. Thank God this place has lunch specials until 4:00 PM! Each lunch special is just under $7 and comes with a good amount of entree, fried rice and egg roll. I ordered the Beef in garlic sauce and the boyfriend ordered Orange chicken along with pan fried wontons. Everything was made fresh to order and delicious! Service was good too, the girl was sweet and attentive.

I was very dissatisfied. The food is very greasy. Mongolian beef tastes burnt. The egg rolls and dumplings are greasy and no flavor. Orange chicken is mostly breading. My chicken with garlic sauce has a strange chewy texture, like beef. Do not recommend. I spent $90 and it was the worst chinese food I have ever had. Disgusting.

Lots of Asian food such as poke, curry, ramen, and even a small market with onigiri. This was the perfect spot for an indecisive morning. It was also a decently spacious area with plenty of seating that arranged all group sizes. Parking was plenty as well.

All were huge portions, reasonably priced, tasted amazing, and the food came out quickly. The staff was super friendly, and after we were done with our meals, the busser had stopped by promptly to pick up our trays. We were pleasantly surprised by our experience here, and I will definitely be back in the future for a quick stop for lunch or dinner where we want many food options. Highly recommend!

Went to BlackSheep for the first time this weekend. WOW what a menu!…read more I had a hard time choosing what to get. While I didn't end up loving my dishes, I still looking forward to coming back. I got the salmon skin tacos. Very creative, very beautiful, not much flavor. The strongest flavor that came through was the red onion which I'm not a big fan of. For dinner I got the vegan noodles. Good texture, liked the veggies, it was a little spicier than expected and I'm coming to realize I may not love gochujang so much. The sauce was just a little too thick and overpowering. That said, the bao sliders were delicious, the steak tartare was interesting. The pork jowl was very tasty and the short rib looked very good. I did not love the imperial rolls, they had some flavor/spice coming through that I really disliked but others enjoyed them. In addition to the food, the service was great. They took great care of us, and even offered to write happy birthday on the cake we brought in. They did charge a cake cutting fee and cut up our whole cake and served us which was nice. Finally the ambiance was nice. It's not a large space (not too small either). Felt intimate, not a ton of other people. It was a great dining experience and I look forward to going back.

It's located in a small strip mall on W Warm Springs Road, about 8 miles southwest from the W Hotel where I was staying. The décor is simple, with about six tables inside and tables outside for al fresco dining. You go there for the food, not the décor. They offer a tasting menu for two for $190, that is amazing. What's more amazing is the deluxe version for $370. As a solo diner on this occasion, I couldn't avail myself of either so I made my own, three Shigoku oysters ($12), three Oyster / Uni / Foie Gras ($30), U3 Prawn with truffle butter ($40), Truffle Bone Marrow Filet with Foie Gras ($76), two glasses of wine ($14 and $16), and Illy coffee to finish ($4). The three Shigoku oysters were great; the ones with uni and foie gras were sublime! I had a glass of 2024 Touraine Sauvignon Blanc with the oysters. The Truffle Prawn was out of this world! The large prawn was split and grilled with truffle butter. The meat was perfect, and I scooped all of the goodness from the shells and savored each bit. I wanted another order! The Truffle Bone Marrow included two bone halves, topped with sliced medium rare filet and seared foie gras. I can never have too much foie gras! The marrow was so unctuous and combined with the filet and a slice of foie gras, I was in food heaven! It's so decadent and insanely good. I had a glass of District 7 Pinot Noir with the meat. Alas, no room for dessert. If I did, I would have ordered another Truffle Prawn. I ended my meal with a cup of Illy coffee, then headed back to my hotel. Ah, what a meal! Superb from start to finish! The total came to $253.08, including a tip. Highly recommended! Rating: 4.75.

One of my favorite options for Late Night Bites! A lot of people I know that work in food &…read morebeverage come here for a delicious Japanese/Oriental inspired meal. Let's start with the highlights of this place- This restaurant has what I'd call "sexy food"- dishes that look like they came straight out of a fine dining restaurant, BUT here, at a MUCH more affordable price! ESPECIALLY DURING HAPPY HOUR!! ( 11 PM - 3 AM). Here are the MUST TRY's: The Gyoza- AMAZING flavor and texture. (Happy Hour Dish) The Sashimis- All come with a citrusy yuzu soy sauce. I love the Yellowtail and Salmon one especially! (Salmon Sashimi is a Happy Hour Dish) Black Cod Lettuce Wraps- Umami, crunchy, satisfying! Chicken/Beef Kushi- the sauces for these- just WOW! (Happy Hour Dish) The New York Strip- Look at the presentation! Amazing! The side seasoning, the greens and chili threads- they all pair with this beautifully cooked steak very well! They do have pricier dishes- even a full Chef's Tasting Menu! But since I usually just come for a quick bite late at night, I don't really get those. Ambience- it is a small restaurant, but not too busy. I find that a lot of late night workers come here for a nice fancy, but affordable dinner. This place is great for groups of friends. What needs work- I do love the food of this restaurant, but there are some things that hurt it. I'd love to see them overcome these obstacles and turn out even more popular on the other side! The Outside- I'm not sure if it's the sewage or something, but around the corner spot where this restaurant is located, there's just this awful, stinky smell. I feel like that issue hurts the restaurant, especially for people who would want to dine outside. The hospitality- the staff is fast- hard working- efficient and good at their job. I don't have to wait much for my food to come out. But I feel like there is a lack of hospitality- I get the feeling that they're disinterested in you being their guest- I don't exactly feel welcome and it just comes across as they're just trying to get the job done. Closing Time- Happy Hour and Online Apple/Google Maps says this restaurant closes at 3am- however, there have been times where this restaurant stops seating or taking in orders before 2am. So just be aware that you may not be able to eat there if you go past 2. Fried Rice/Yakisoba- The rice and the noodles are great, but there's something funky about the protein. When I've ordered beef yakisoba before, the beef tastes funky- not fresh. I feel like these are strong side dishes, but I do question the freshness/flavor of the protein added to these dishes.

Oden (fish cake) soup now $15. Still a favorite dish when feeling sick, unwell. Tako Wasabi $4. Grilled Flounder with delicious pepper sauce. Ika Natto $5 Our standards: Coastal big city non-Japanese descent ppl privileged to be around enough typical Japanese food, a city with a decent size Japanese communit(ities) within the it. Our expectations usually is by price, we're not elevated foodie type for fancier dining experiences unless it's for the entertainment of it, etc. We like city versions of hole in the wall, ghetto fab, semi-purist, daily casual and sometimes clearner types of food. So this place fits the daily casual place to eat at. If you're looking for more perfection in dishes, there's tons of other places to line up and pay higher prices for in Vegas. For those coastal city ppl even coming from NY NY, where the norm for casual/mid tier least westernized sushi places costing easily $100ish per person (less than $100 per person), this place could be an alternative for you. Ppl coming from big city super suburbs, towns/no where towns (local vegas is more of a town, not city) then of course this place will be awesome no matter what due to lack of resources and exposure in one's area.
