I wasn't sure what I thought a KBBQ was supposed to be, but I sure wasn't expecting this! Upon entering, I was blown away with the modern yet traditional decor. There was no wait and we were sat at the cutest half booth that fit my whole party of 6. They had a great deal for a Dinner Combo (6), that came w various meats, Soybean soup, Fried Dumplings, white rice, and assorted Korean side dishes. We were given the option to have our meats cooked by the chefs in the back or in front of us, and of course for the experience we HAD to see this in front of our eyes. Our waiter was so attentive and made sure we were all having a great experience, super thorough with explaining all the meats cooking as they were making them. Most of the meats were TO DIE FOR, I absolutely loved the Gogi Beef short rib which our waiter said was the bestseller. This was my first time trying Kimchi and it was sooo delicious, nicely seasoned. This was overall a great experience and I was so glad we came!!

grilled. After spending nearly the entire day at Universal Orlando Resort, our appetites were quite ravenous. And craving Korean bbq of all things. The Yelp app sizzled in assisting us in our bbq search. LOCATION: Free standing building in a shopping complex. Ample parking available. FOOD / DRINK: The menu is quite extensive. They have the usual beef, chicken, and pork choices available, as well as variety of banchan served with the meal. We ordered the beef brisket, pork belly, chicken breast, shrimp, and (admittedly) some others I can't recall at this very moment. They were all decent portions, and we were all satisfied with the quality of the meats also. Though I will mention that the spicy pork wasn't as spicy as I thought it would be. As for the banchan, the kim chee and pickled radish were the winners of the night; we were constantly asking for a "refill". Of the two, the pickled radish deserved first place. SERVICE: Very good. Our server was a young man with a good work ethic, friendly and respectful manner, and much patience. We appreciated that he carefully (since he was new) answered all our questions. He informed us that he had been working at the restaurant for less than 1 year, but he seemed very informed regarding his job. He checked on us periodically throughout the meal. NOTE: 1. We actually visited the restaurant twice during out trip last November. The second being 11/9 (for dinner) when Magic Kingdom closed early due to Hurricane Nicole. BOTTOM LINE: A great place for Korean bbq!

One of best Korean places in Orlando. The food is amazing. The galbi, bulgogi, spicy chicken etc is great. I love all theor side dishes, kimchi, broccoli, radish and more. Their customer service is top notch. All the servers are very nice and helpful. Their ambiance is very nice. I like there flames that are around the table. One of the funniest things to do is to cook your own food. My son enjoys cooking his own food to the temperature that he likes. You get a lot of food for the price. It's worth every penny. I highly recommend this place for date night or family dinner.

Honestly, the quality of meat was just ok, but our server was 11/10 amazing. Ordered their Pork Belly, Galbi, and Ribeye a la carte so we could get more of our favorites - the best meat was by far the Ribeye. The Soybean Soup was also good. It was spicy without overwhelming your tastebuds. The side dishes were just ok. Great service but the meat is nothing special especially for the expensive price you're paying.

One of my co-workers was raving about Korean Gogi Grill, so my husband and I decided to give this place a try. It was a solid "meh." This Korean barbecue restaurant is located amongst a strip of other stores and restaurants in the Dr. Philips area of Orlando, FL. The decor was probably the best part of our visit - clean, modern with orange being the dominant color. Our server was nice but never brought us the chicken wings that we ordered as an appetizer and didn't check in on us as often as I would like (and the place was pretty empty) since this was our first time doing Korean barbecue (and we informed her of this) and I ran out of water since some of the food items were spicer than I would like. My husband and I ordered the dinner for two. The meal started with numerous small plates with items like pickled radish, macaroni salad, tomatoes, etc. we also each got a cup of soy bean soup and chicken fried dumplings. My favorite out of all of these pre-entree dishes were the chicken fried dumplings. Our server helped us cooked the meats that came with the dinner for two - chicken and various beef and pork cuts. I just ate the chicken and husband ate the other meats. We thought they were just "okay." We were also given white rice to accompany the meats, but the portion was small. We wanted to end the meal with something sweet, so we ordered the tempura ice cream. This was just "okay" as well. We don't think we'll be making a repeat visit to this Korean barbecue restaurant as we were underwhelmed and disappointed with some aspects.

This place was cool. It was a little weird because we were the only ones in the restaurant, but it turned out to be pretty good. All you can eat is a plus. The steak was a little bit of a disappointment but the pork short ribs were amazing. Maybe not enough sides but there were other options we need to go back and try for sure. The service was quick and our waitress was very kind. My mojito was bangin. Would go again.

If you come here expecting traditional Korean bbq, you'd be disappointed. But if you come here expecting more fusion type modern Korean bbq, this would hit the spot. Lots of solid options for bbq and meat quality was decent. Our party of 4 ordered the set meal for 2 with a side ala carte order of beef. We were pretty stuffed by the end of the meal. Service was excellent and the establishment was very clean. My only qualm is that the selection of side dishes (banchan) was fairly limited.

Visited Orlando and decided to stop by for some Korean BBQ on a Tuesday night. The place was large and nicely decorated with small nooks for semi-private groups having a birthday party. My friend and I decided to order an entire cow for dinner: LA Galbi, Rib eye, bulgogi, and beef fingers (the meat between the ribs). Our meat was so deliciously marinated that we didn't really need to use the sesame oil or samjang sauces on the side. Our server, Vickie was friendly, attentive, funny and amazing. She really knew all about the food and gave some great suggestions on drinks. We ended up ordering a simple light & refreshing beer to wash down the small cow we ordered. I love Korean food and we have many Korean BBQ places in tHe DC area I'm from so it was nice to try another place away from home. Good food, and good company, plus It was an easy place to get to with lots of parking. I would come again next time I'm in Orlando! Oh- and don't stick your hand in the mesmerizing fire wall. Haha!

You gotta Gogi here! This place was so fire, compliments to the chef (me). I love Korean bbq, so I was so glad to find one on my trip to Orlando. The vibes were incredible, I was amazed by the "fire" the entire time. Definitely a gem!

First as you can see from other reviews we love this place. But tonight was an off night. We ordered delivery as we always do and order the same items as we always do. But somehow the soon tofu leaked into the bag. Tonight the turnip kimchi tasted bad and for some reason the broccoli had no flavor. I am hoping things haven't changed there and it is just an off night. Of course when you order through a 3rd party no one takes responsibility and blame each other so you end up paying for something that you don't eat.

I made a reservation for 13, but only 11 came. My friends and I are in town for a couple of nights before heading out on a cruise mid last month. We arrived a little early and was seated in a booth for 10, but it fits 11 of us as there were 4 kids. The server that took our order wasn't helpful and informative of the menu. She repeated our order and left w/o even turning on our grill. Furthermore, we needed extra plates and utensils but had to ask for it. It took until the food came out for us to ask again and finally for the extra plates & utensils. We ordered a variety of meat and the following dishes: 1. Edamame: Came out after all the plates and meat. I was taken aback that it should've been the first thing to come out after water. 2. Seafood pancake: We really enjoyed this with the sauce that came with it. The only thing was I felt there wasn't a lot of sesfood in it. I barely saw any, and the shrimp were super small. However, the flavoring and thickness of the pancake were good. 3. Japchae: I didn't try it, but I believe it was good as the plate was finished with my 10yo son eating it mostly, and he's a picky eater. 4. Teobokki: Not traditional style, more stir-fried, so it was on the dryer side. I was bummed hoping for that spicey thickened sauce and fish cakes. It tasted alright and wasn't as flavorful. 5. Korean fried chicken: super crispy and hot (as in temp), so be careful when you bite it. Comes with 2 sauces. I especially like the red savory sweet chili sauce over the soy sauce. 6. The meat we ordered was: Marinated short ribs, bulgogi, beef brisket, pork belly, and shrimp. I especially liked the marinated short ribs as it was flavored well, and the thickness of the meat was just right. 7. 8 rice bowls. We had to ask for it many times, and they brought it out in 2 ramen size bowls instead. The rice wasn't even filled up in the bowl, so we had to ask for another bowl of rice. So I'm not sure how many bowls of rice it was that we received. 9. Veggies to eat as ssam (wrapped up with the grilled meat): it never came out, so we didn't even bother to ask for it. The restaurant was not too busy, but I felt that the server was not efficient and attentive to our large group or know what needs to be given when there are kids. We had to ask for everything, and it took some time to get it or that we just let it pass and not bother with it. The food was not great but not bad, but service needs to be improved on. Their mints were probably the highlight of my dinner as it's the kind of peppermint candy that looks hard but melts in your mouth.

What can I say ? Gogi is the best KBBQ in Orlando and pretty sure better than any NYC or DMV Korean bbq! The selection of meats is beyond than expected. They definitely have fresh side and sauces. Their lettuce is so fresh and the garlic, Jalapeño and sauce is so so good. They are pricy compare to restaurants around the area but let me tell you it's worth it. Recommendations: order the fresh salad, short rib marinated, Bulgogi Beef, and Wagu. Definitely try the soup and the side noddles. ***pomegranate Martini***

I tried this place twice. In the first time, it was great, I was completely convinced. The meat, the banchan, the atmosphere, the service; everything combined perfectly. All of that made the second visit. However, the second visit was pretty bad. Almost nothing be the same as the first visit. The meat was super salty, the place was hot (i think something wrong with the A/C), the service is weird ( idk how to explain, but it was really bother us; even the waitress tried to make things better by telling some jokes, it didn't work). Therefore, I have never made the third visit. The place just kind of out of my mind.

In our defense, we'd never been to Disney Springs before and we're not really Disney people, so we were absolutely BLOWN away by the intensity of the area. If you're using Uber or Lyft, be prepared...the location is smack dab in the middle of everything, and you'll likely be walking about half a mile from either drop off point. There was a line wrapping around the building, and by the time we reached the counter we were starting to sweat. But I have to give credit where it's due: the staff was incredible. The girl working the door, our cashier (who I later saw busing tables), and the various employees checking on guests EVERY . SINGLE . EMPLOYEE. was hustling their face off!! The line never stopped. It was absolute chaos in there, and I was genuinely floored by how hard everyone was working. We ordered the trio sliders. The pulled pork was okay but desperately needed sauce; the Carolina sauce helped a lot. The Nashville hot chicken slider was just okay. The standout was the brisket slider. I'd absolutely order that again. My favorite thing we ate, though, was the wings. Sweet with a nice little kick, those were fantastic. We also tried the waffle fries, which were pretty ordinary and a little over-seasoned. The coleslaw was very unique, almost sour. We ordered the burnt ends as well, and this is where I feel obligated to defend Polite Pig a little. We've been eating some really great barbecue lately, so maybe my standards were high, but the burnt ends just didn't hold up for me. They were extra chewy and heavily sauced. My boyfriend thought they were perfectly fine. My bigger issue was that most of the food just wasn't hot. If everything had come out piping hot, it would have elevated the meal considerably. Drinkwise, my boyfriend got the Old Fashioned and loved it. I ordered the batched vodka lemonade and had no idea it was carbonated. Had I known that, I never would have ordered it. It was not for me. My biggest knock, unfortunately, is the bathroom. Back in 2019, I used an outhouse on a hiking trail in Utah. This bathroom was worse. Dirty diapers were literally topping the garbage can. Since the restrooms are individual and co-ed, there was a urinal in mine, and maybe it's because I'm a woman, but the smell was absolutely awful. Above all else, the floor was covered in urine. It was atrocious. At the end of the day, all my love goes to the hardworking employees. They were the stars of the show. The food was decent, and there were definitely a few standouts, but for me it just wasn't worth the stress and chaos that comes with the Disney Springs location. But if you're already there then dine on!! So if you go, do yourself a favor: use the bathroom beforehand.

This is Oviedo's hidden treasure! The brisket is amazing (seriously - 4 Rivers and Bubbalou's…read moreshould be worried). It just fell apart in your mouth and had such a delicious flavor. I had the smaller bowl (1 meat and 2 sides) and it was enough to feed me for 2 meals. OMG the beans! There were 3 or 4 types of beans in it and it was incredibly hard to not gobble them all down instead of saving some for my hubby to try at home. My friend had the cornbread casserole which she said is her favorite side after the beans (I'm GF so I couldn't have that but I wanted to!). Another friend had the Bbq brisket sandwich with potato salad and she said the potato salad was really tasty. Just so you know - this is a very small restaurant. No inside seating, just picnic tables outside. (Some are shaded.) There is an area outside to wash your hands after eating and you can download their app and order online which gets you $5 off your meal (that's a good deal) but even without a discount, the food is worth every penny and the portions are generous.

I used their app to order online because I had heard they sell out. I ordered a brisket and ribs…read morecombo that came with a side and drink. Plus a pulled pork sandwich. It was ready when I pulled up to the lot adjacent to the BBQ restaurant. There is outside seating only and a sink to clean up afterwards. I went in and my food was ready. I opened it and was checking for the extra pickles which were an option in the app. The person who handed me the food said that they had not had pickles in some time because they were having issues with the supplier. Darn. So I decided to eat my pulled pork sandwich at the picnic tables outside. Actually the tables are not that far from the road where cars and trucks whizzed by. I went back and asked for more bbq sauce because I got two small cups of bbq sauce which had about 3 tablespoons of liquid each. Pulled pork always sucks up a lot of sauce. There was plenty of meat and the bun was fresh but overall it would have been perfect with some acid from the pickles. My brisket and rib meal was excellent. I ate it later and I found the southern green beans to be good. I would definitely get this combo again. It came with a drink which is a canned soft drink. It doesn't say on the app but they also have bottled water. Overall I felt this restaurant lived up to all the hype. Check the app for $5 off on your first order. See QR code in the picture.

The front staff remembers us every time we go. I am obsessed with the herbal and spicy hot pot, so I usually have them make it 50/50 mix. The vegetables are fresh and there's a wide selection of meats and seafood. I also like to make my dipping sauce with the garlic sauce blend. My favorite is the Galbi which is seasoned well. Both savory and sweet. Another obsession is the asago dessert which is a tapioca pearls, black beans, fruits and jelly in a sweet coconut milk. I really enjoy going here since it's a good alternative to other AYCE in the surrounding vicinity because of the better quality. I want to see this place get more traffic because it's hidden in the old JoAnn's shopping center next to Aldi. There's plenty of parking in the commercial lot.

You can pick one or add the other for only $5 more. They have a good selection of meats, veggies, and others. The app selection isn't my favorite compared to other restaurants but still varied. And the sauce bar is always stocked. If you're hungry, this is the place to go!
