First time having Korean cuisine, and was so thankful my best friend brought me to BaBbi BaBbi! One thing to note is that the portions are HUGE!! Definitely to be shared with someone else (unless you love leftovers as much as I do ) I got the kimchi fried rice and my best friend got the bulgogi! As you can notice in the picture, the bulgogi came with A LOT of sides!! The meat was incredibly tender and flavorful, and my kimchi rice had the perfect kick of spice to it!! The korean twice fried wings are a MUST!!!!!! Get the sauce on the side if you're hesitant towards spice. Note: Parking is also incredibly simple! We went there last night with our two kids and had a very disappointing experience. We ordered two orders of bulgogi, one kimchi fried rice with bulgogi on cold bowl, and one kids' meal. We waited around one hour, and the waiter kept telling us that our food was "almost done." When the food finally came, my husband's cold bowl was still missing, so we had to share the food we received. The bulgogi was extremely watery and tasted like it had a lot of MSG. On top of that, our waiter forgot our drinks, so I had to remind him. I also had to ask another waitress for utensils. Meanwhile, another table that arrived about 20 minutes after us received their food before we did. The waiter never checked on us or seemed to care about the situation. Given the poor service and long wait, we decided we were not going to leave a tip. At the end, he gave us an $18 discount, which we appreciated as at least an attempt to address the situation, although we were still very unhappy. But then things got even worse. The menu clearly stated that an automatic gratuity applies to parties of 5 or more. We were a party of 4, so that policy did not apply to us. However, when we paid with our credit card, we noticed that a $19 tip had been added automatically even though we had not authorized or agreed to leave a tip. After that, the waiter and waitress were nowhere to be found. We were exhausted and had two kids with us, so we decided to leave rather than spend even more time dealing with the situation. This entire experience was frustrating from beginning to end -- extremely slow service, missing food, forgotten drinks and utensils, poor food quality, and an unexpected tip added to our credit card despite the menu's stated automatic gratuity policy. My parents wanted Korean food so I found this place on Yelp. It had good ratings but comments were good and bad. It looked good to me and they had corn cheese Rangoon which I had to try. I got tempura that was coconut shrimp and sweet potato, corn cheese Rangoon and I got gochujang wings. Everything was fresh, super crispy, and had really good flavor. The wings came with crispy tteok and I loved that paired with the wings as well. I had my miso soup after as a cleanser and it was really refreshing. My daughter had chicken fritter with rice which really was just chicken tenders. They were cooked well and she enjoyed them. My parents had dolsot bibimbap which they said was pretty good. Nice to find a place with vegan options near the Sprouts we stopped at. According to the Happy Cow app they have vegan bibimbap and chapche. You order via QR code on your table, which is always mildly annoying. The food came promptly and included sides, which they made sure to only bring the vegan sides for us. Ordered the bibimbap and it was good. Came with a traditionally spicy sauce on the side, which I tasted and it was too sweet for my taste. The decor is cute and there's four TVs playing K-pop. Oh what a treat! I may have found my favorite Korean restaurant in Orlando! Took a quick Memorial Day holiday getaway to Orlando and wanted something a little different. We found it! This place had charisma, excellent service and absolutely delicious food! We had pork dumplings, Korean corndog, passion fruit iced tea, lychee soju, beef bulgogi, and a host of side items that came with our meal. Sooooo good! Excellent seasoning and flavors. Great place for korean food! There was one server and she worked her butt off to provide service to everyone who was dining at the restaurant. Since she was the only server, she also bussed all the tables too. When it got busy, you can tell she was a little overwhelmed but she kept her spirits up and provided good service to the best of her ability. The restaurant ambiance is hip and happening. There are flat panel screens to watch KPOP videos. Restaurant is clean and looks fairly new. We ordered korean pancake, soondubu, pork belly plate, tonkatsu kimbap, galbi plate & korean chicken wing. I kid you not, we loved every single plate we had. Nothing was disappointing, every bite of food was flavorful. For 3 adults and 1 preschooler, we had 1/4 of pancake,3-4 chicken wings and some kimbap leftover. Highly recommend this place for Korean food! Shoutout to the girl working her butt off. Ok so I've been to Babbi Babbi a few times now... and for a small quick service Korean spot it had all the necessities you might need to feed your Korean cravings. Now this location is located within a shopping plaza in the Dr. Phillips area. There is plenty of parking available in the parking lot and the restaurant is pretty spacious with a good amount of tables for dine in. When we first arrived we were greeted immediately and were allowed to choose our seats. Our server was super attentive and very patient with us as we were making our selection. For food, we both ordered the build your own bibimbap (Korean Rice Bowl). We were given the option to choose a rice base, protein, toppings and additional add ons. The food came out in a hot stone bowl still sizzling when it got to our table! Our meals also came with bonchon (Korean side dishes) and miso soup. Overall,I think the dish was very delicious! The only thing I would say is that for my protein... I chose the fried tofu and it had an unusual slimy/chewy texture... even though the flavor was good... This was soooooo good. I got this as take out and even with an 1 hour drive, it was still hot and amazing when we got home. There really isn't any Korean food near my house and we were up in Orlando and had read great things about this place. We were not disappointed. Where to begin: 1) The Bibimap - I had it with white rice, chicken and garlic shrimp and had all the add-ons except the egg and spinach. It was devine. 2) The Kimbab - we tried the original - generous portion, nice amount of filling and super tasty. 3) Kimchi fried rice - large portion (lasted 2 days) - spicy and perfectly moist. 4) Tteobokki - we got the regular one, not the Rose one, and my daughter loved it. She said it was a bit sweeter than she's use too and not overly spicy, but she really liked it. 5) Pork Mandu - we got these pan fried and they were perfection, including the sauce. They also included several little "sides" - kimchi, radish kimchi, and some other things I wasn't sure of, but we tried everything anyway and liked them. And they gave us Miso soup also, which was good. It was a large order - we wanted to try a bunch of stuff. We had leftovers for a few days, but we ate everything. I will DEFINITELY go here again. They also have fun street food type options, such as cheese corn, Korean corn dogs, etc. I've had those in the past and didn't think they'd travel as well but I saw people eating and enjoying them. This place hit the SPOT!!! After spending a whole day at the park, we really wanted some warm and comforting food. We were also pretty hungry so we wanted something that was also semi fast. Thankfully Babbi babbi was it. I would say this place is somewhat a mixture of a sit down and fast food style restaurant. We stumbled upon this restaurant which sits in one of the many shopping centers in Orlando! We wished, we had one near us! It was amazing!!! There is no hostess, therefore we sat in one of the open tables; we were immediately approached by very attentive waitress, who after providing with Menus took our drink orders. We ordered the tonkatsu, soondubu, and spicy squid. The tonkatsu was thin and dry, spicy squid came out chewy, and the soondubu lacked taste. They provided a few banchans but the kimchi did not taste right. The service was quick so there was a positive. The restaurant is nicely decorated and plenty of seating and clean. Great stone bowl restaurant. I recommend the visit if you visit Orlando. It is about 4.5 stars. This restaurant value vs price is good on value side. I would visit again if I am in the area. We got Japchae Mandu with chicken. This sweet potato noodles is unique. It is something new to us. The second dish is build your own hot bibimbap. I have the grilled pork with added Galbi. The food was very good, we had the wings, galbi, marinated chicken, fried dumplings, dolsot bibimbop, and the bulgogi kimbap. Everything was well cooked and tasted good., I didn't love that the onions under my galbi were not sauteed, but just wilted, and I'm used to a lettuce wrapper for eating it but that's a optional thing I think. I disliked the order from the QR code thing, but when in Orlando... Discounting the app ordering the food service was good and the runner and the hostess were courteous and friendly. Loved our meal! We got the Marinated Pork, Spicy Pork Kimbap, & Japchae with Fried Tofu. Korean food is not normal on our going out list but we loved the dishes and the use of fresh vegetables. Marinated Pork was scrumptious. The other 2 dishes were good but we were hoping for a little more heat in the Spicy Pork Kimbap and a bolder flavor in the Japchae. I was in the mood for some Korean hot stone food and this spot was super close to my hotel while I was in town. Parking can get a little crowded and limited in front of the restaurant so you may have to park beside the Whole Foods parking lot area. We were greeted right away and I put in my order right away. We ordered the kids meal beef bulgogi, hot stone bowl beef bulgogi, and soft seafood tofu soup. We also ordered some water. Not knowing that they came in water bottles and are $1 each. So this is definitely a first. lol The complimentary side dishes were good. I enjoyed the kimichi cucumbers and seaweed salad. My hot stone bowl was amazing. The portions were extremely big for the price. The kids beef bulgogi was pretty big as well. All in all, this place was definitely up to par with the Korean spots in GA. If not better. This was our second time here. This place had great Korean food! We arrived and we're greeted right away and brought to our table. This place is very spacious and has TVs playing K-pop music, great decor. We love it!! Between 6.5 of us we order quite a few items off the menu. Starting with Fried Mandu (Korean Gyoza), Korean Corn Dog (cheese and hotdog with ketchup, Mayo and sugar), seafood pancake. Then we ordered some bulgogi kimbab (Korean version of sushi roll), spicy squid, bibimbab, tonkatsu, and bulgogi. The server then brought out some water for us and miso soup. We shared all of the entrees and all were super delicious!! Can't forget to mention all of the banchan (small side dishes like kimchi). All was great!! Service was great!! I came because it was about 1.4 miles from the hotel I'm staying at. Great service. I came in for a last minute take out order. The staff was nice. My food was good. The tteokbokki was excellent. It comes with fish cake but I don't like it so they kept it out for me. I would love to come back to eat at the restaurant when I have more time. Lots of variety. I thought it would just be a quick take out place but it's definitely a good restaurant. The food was prepared quickly and packaged nicely for me. I would definitely come back. The restaurant is located in a nice plaza with plenty of parking. Just be aware of the intersection around it. It's terrible with traffic and the intersection lights. People don't know how to drive and block the intersection. It took me a long time to get to the restaurant because people kept blocking the intersection. Not their fault though. Being from LA, we had our fave locations for good Korean food, but then we found this place on DoorDash. Korean food is my comfort food.
