I did not like that the menu did not list how many pieces was in the order, so I just ordered a full order. I tried a small piece on my way back to the car. It was nice and crunchy and had lots of labor without being saucy & messy. I reheated it in the air fryer the next day - of course it as better right after it was made, but it was still good. My problem was that it was a bit spicy for me which I found odd because it was just soy/garlic. (Yes, I know garlic can be spicy if a lot. It was not overly garlicky.) My friends and I popped into CM KFC for dinner and had a lovely time. Choong Man Chicken has come to Schaumburg straight from Korea to serve us Korean Fried Chicken goodness. Everyone loves the Snow Onion here and if you like onions, I'm sure you'll love that. I do not though so enjoyed my regular ol' kfc here. They use a special style of frying here that also includes baking so is said to be a bit more healthy than the usual deep fried protein. Soy garlic is my favorite of the flavors. We were the last ones dining when we were in and they patiently waited while finished up. Their fault for serving soju and beer here, lolz, just kidding ofc. No worries on parking as it's Schaumburg plus it shares the plaza with a convenience store if you need anything after. CM Korean Fried Chicken is a new solid chicken option in the area, for sure! Great Korean Fried Chicken Joint! This is a casual chicken and beer place. We came on a Saturday night and most tables were occupied. The staff are very nice and attentive. Food: Soy garlic wings: These wings are my favorite. Perfectly seasoned sauce with still a crispy exterior wing. The wings also come with pickled radish with gives a nice acidity to cut through the fried fattiness of the fried chicken. Spicy garlic wings: These give a slow spicy burn that builds over time with a gochugaru/gochujang garlic sauce. Good, but too spicy for me to eat more than a few. Waffle fries: I really liked the seasoning on the fries and the crispy texture was on point. In my opinion, waffle fries are the best ratio of potatoey to crisp! We ordered takeout on a Sunday for lunch. We were able to order online for pick up. They open at 11:30am and our food was ready at the time we expected. They have a large dining area, which is nicely decorated and they have plenty of parking available outside. The fried chicken can be a bit pricey but the flavor is great. There's a little tin trash bin to throw away any bones and a water bottle for the table. We ordered... all in wing format: Snow onion -- a generous amount of thinly sliced onions, placed on top of the wings. I don't know what exactly they do to prepare the onions, but it was not overpowering at all, and was a delight to eat, in between bites of chicken. The chicken had a really nice sweet and savory sauce to it Lemon Green Onion Chicken -- Crispy chicken topped with sliced green onions mixed in our signature lemon dressing. Again, the green onion wasn't overpowering at all. Red Hot Pepper Chicken Crispy and tender chicken tossed in our addictive gochujang sauce. This was my absolutely favorite! The sauce is not that spicy and if a wimp like me can do it, you can too! All chicken was cooked perfectly and crispy, as you would expect from Korean fried chicken. Choongman chicken in glenview is my absolute favorite korean fried chicken in Chicago. I was excited about more locations opening up, though this one is not quite the same. No carrots, celery, and ranch combo served. There were some new flavors which we tried - but I like the original flavors best. The red hot wings were delicious, spicy, and crispy as always. The mep snow was just a more saucy and slightly sweeter version - I didn't like how it didn't actually come with the snow onions. The honey galic (was this a typo on the menu?) was a good flavor for those who are spice-intolerant. Crispy and sweet. Last week I was talking about the restaurant and a co-worker, whose son used to work at that CM last year, said that the owners keep their employees tips. came on a thursday around 5:30 and it was pretty empty. we ordered fries and they were perfectly crisp. wouldn't be shocked if they were double fried. we ordered a curry half chicken and a soy garlic half chicken. both were delicious but the chicken was pink (some more than others)...it tasted cooked but i felt weird eating it. 4 hours later and i feel fine still though! i love the flavor of the curry which was a new one we opted to try, but the soy garlic is still my favorite! friendly service as well. i'll be back if i'm in the area but only if i feel like spending $55 (for 2 people total). read more

Decent amount of space between tables and big enough of a place where even if it's crowded, you won't feel suffocated. Menu has decent variety regarding flavor and types of chicken (wings, tenders, half a whole chicken, and a whole chicken). Appetitizers are typical fried American food like fries, shrimp, onion rings, and wedges so we opted out of getting those. We ordered Garlic Spicy (tenders), Soy Garlic Green Onion (wings), and Cheese Monster (wings) altogether, which were about 8-9 pieces each dish that was shared among 4 adults. Portion worked out well for us (wings were not big but no problem) as we're not big eaters so we finished everything and were full at the end. * Cheese Monster - quite surprised as I thought the cheese powder coating would taste artificial but it didnt and tasted good- my favorite of the 3. * Spicy garlic - had one pepper rating for spice level; was pretty spicy for a spicy food lover for me so can't imagine what their 3 pepper flavor would be if this one is already spicy. Not sure what happened here. Korean calamari is supposed to be soft and buttery. It seems like this batch may have been frozen for too long or over cooked. I ordered two different kind of wings (snow and honey garlic). Disappointed with the calamari but chicken was descent. The chicken was so incredible. I was hesitant at first when ordering the snow onion chicken because of the mound of onions on top. I assumed I'd just push them to the side and just focus on the sauce and chicken. I was wrong, the onions totally exceeded my expectations and added this amazing fresh crunch and sweetness to help cut the fatty umami flavors of the chicken. I thought it was just a bunch of raw onions but they're marinated and have no sting of an onion. After eating for over half an hour, the chicken remained crispy, despite all the saucy stuff on top. That was incredible, I have no idea how they do that! The cheese curds had an incredible cheese pull, also! The meal came with some pickled radish on the side and much like the onions, it was a perfect pairing for the chicken. We even asked to get some radish to go with the leftover chicken because they were so good together. The two server ladies there were so attentive and nice and gave us some radish to go. They were truly a gem. The restaurant was nice and roomy. It felt open and clean and the staff worked hard on cleaning tables as soon as a guest leaves. Yesterday my family and I visited this spot after our recent flight from Seoul. It was recommended by my parents as they hoped the food would come close to legitimate Korean fried chicken.
