Awesome food and super accommodating for my sons 7th birthday when he wanted pizza crust with nothing on it to make a spaghetti pie and it was awesome! Love the food and everything was fresh right from the oven. Pricing is also great for the quality and portion size. Love it!

Ambiance was very relaxing but the food was incredible! We were not impressed with the waitress and did not get bread which we thought was given to every table. The food was so delicious it's absolutely worth going back. I can't wait to bring my daughters!

Thru the years we have been here numerous of times! Every single time has been great! We like their drinks, the food and the ambiance! In the spring/summer outside they will have music so that is always a plus! They have daily specials as well! Last night I came with my girls and we ordered our usual appetizer, mozzarella fritti, dinner we had the kids pasta with marinara, the build your own salad and the Valdostano plate! They bring bread to the table with their pesto and that's always a hit with everyone! The server was attentive and nice! I know we will be back soon!

Friends and I had lunch here today before going to an art class in Hampstead. I ordered the cobb salad, which was very good, although the bacon was way overcooked. Some of the pieces were too chewy. The avocado was perfectly ripe; and the gorgonzola cheese was yummy. Same with the blue cheese dressing. Two other salads were ordered, and a Caesar chicken salad wrap. All very good. Nice service by our young waitress. While I made reservations in advance, it was not needed. It wasn't crowded at all. In nice weather, sitting outside is a good option. Nice décor inside with huge canvas artwork - most were Italy scenery.

Solid place. Great ambiance, food and service. The food has always been delicious and well presented. We have had everything over several visits. From pizza, to salads, to pasta and more. All beautifully prepared from a chef that seems to care as much about flavors as he does about presentation. Take a look at some of these pictures!

The chicken was so juicy and the flavor combo was amazing! I will definitely be adding this to my lunch rotation.

Asked for the full wine menu to be brought over: never arrived, ordered waters: 20 minute wait (first, only brought the sparkling water for my fiancé and then I had to wait another 10 for my own water), ordered a bottle of wine: 10 minute wait. The only thing that came fast was the food which was great, but that was only ordered after waiting probably 30 minutes at the table already. We weren't really checked on while eating, and I want to say it took 20 minutes for the waiter to come over for us to request our check after finishing (+ another 10 waiting for him to actually bring it over). I get it was a Saturday, but we ended up spending over 2 hours at the restaurant

She told us about all of the specials and gave us suggestions to help us select our meal, honestly her personality alone made us want to come back but the food sealed the deal. We started with the Filet Tartine which absolutely blew us away, then shared the beef Wellington and the brussells, this was our first time having a Wellington and on top of being delicious the tableside service was outstanding! The side of brussells were the star for sure, with pancetta and apricot, savory but sweet. So amazing. We also shared a few drinks throughout the meal, the tiramisu martini, the lemon meringue, gardens of Augustus, and the10 year tawny, everything was amazing, though we're definitely coming back for the tiramisu martinis! And finally, don't get me started on the view, the large windows face out over the river and look out to the battleship, we got there right as the sun was setting and added to the romance of it all. Overall we had the best Valentines anniversary of 4 years thanks the Ella and her team at Sugo, Thanks!

The staff were okay, but unfortunately the food really missed the mark this time…read more All of our pasta was overcooked, to the point where the noodles were falling apart and almost shredded. My vodka sauce (and one of my friend's as well) was only lukewarm and very thin, more like a watery tomato soup than a sauce. Oddly, the noodles themselves were extremely hot, but so soft that it was hard to even pick them up without them breaking apart. My husband ordered a baked ziti, and his dish was even worse, the noodles were completely overdone and lacked any structure. You could not stir the cheese in without the noodles shredding. When we brought this up, the staff seemed a bit confused, so we showed them how easily the noodles were falling apart. Instead of being apologetic or acknowledging the issue, the response felt more like, "Okay, so what do you want?" which came across as a bit abrasive and dismissive. They did still charge us for our appetizer and drinks (one cocktail and a soda), which felt a bit off given the situation. It wasn't necessarily about the cost, but more about the lack of effort to make things right, it just didn't feel like there was much care in how the situation was handled. We've had better experiences on Resy before, so this visit was disappointing. Atmosphere was ok. Temp was fine.

The place is pretty basic, not much atmosphere. I don't recall any music in the background. I was pasta carbonara and read on facebook that this place makes an authentic dish. It was good but what I've eaten in Rome Italy is so much better. My Caesar salad was a nice portion with a thick and creamy dressing. My husband had the meatball sub. He really liked it. And it was a big portion. The garlic knots were delicious. I'm glad we finally got to try this place but it's not on the top of our best Italian restaurants in the area.

We were guided by other Yelpers' reviews. When booking our reservation, we opted to sit at the kitchen counter, which I recommend if possible. It's quite entertaining to watch the kitchen flow and various dishes be made. To start, we ordered the dates, croquetas, and the salad. All were delicious and light enough that we were still able to enjoy our entrees - agnolotti and the rigatoni. I hadn't read many reviews about the agnolotti but it was the star of the show. The rigatoni is their classic and doesn't disappoint. We already determined that next time, we'll need to try the beignets and possibly the lasagna! There were only 2 of us, so we had to limit our dishes. Service was incredible (attentive and friendly) and the restaurant itself is adorable. I totally understand why this is one of Wilmington's top-rated restaurants!

Unfortunately, our experience was incredibly disappointing. Our group of friends ordered our entire meal at once and had just received our appetizers when a staff member abruptly came to our table and, in a very rude and confrontational manner, told us to "be quiet" because we were being too loud. We understand that restaurants have to maintain a comfortable atmosphere for all guests, and if our volume had become an issue, a polite and discreet request would have been completely appropriate. Instead, we felt embarrassed and scolded. The interaction left us so uncomfortable that one member of our party immediately asked for the check and told them we would be leaving before our entrées were even served. Rather than apologizing, showing any empathy, or attempting to salvage the situation, the staff simply brought the bill, set it on the table, and walked away. What was most disappointing wasn't being asked to lower our voices--it was how we were treated afterward. Hospitality is about making guests feel welcome, even when an awkward situation arises. There was no apology, no acknowledgment that the interaction could have been handled better, and no effort whatsoever to make things right. Given the restaurant's reputation, we expected exceptional food paired with exceptional hospitality. Sadly, while we may never know how the main course would have been, the service ensured we won't be returning.
