We get the lamb gyro every time! It's so authentic and fresh, always made to order! The kitchen is open so you can watch them prepare the food for you! The tables are quaint just like you would imagine a little Greek restaurant would be like! We take our food to go, but it would be a lovely space to enjoy our dinner!

My husband and I had lunch here recently. I had been to the original location on Oleander with several friends over a year ago. Order at the counter and a server will bring the food to you. My husband had the Greek burger, which came with fries. I had a bite of the burger. It was so tasty! I had the Greek gyro bowl. It came with some hummus. I didn't realize it came with rice at the bottom. It was very good. Decent portions and reasonable prices. We'll return here to try some of their other items on the menu. All the food photos I see on Facebook look wonderful. I do wish they would open another restaurant in Leland. They were supposed open sometime in 2024. I hope they will open one in Leland.

Food was good! Everyone was so kind! Our table got the lunch combos with lamb gyros and fries! we will be coming back to try the Souvlaki sometime soon

The best Gyros I've ever had. The environment is clean. George is super kind, an absolutely gentle man who knows how to put together a mean gyro. I got the Lamb Gyro and Baklava. Absolute class act. This is a place that makes you want to become integrated with Greek culture. What more can I say than the iconic, "RUN DONT WALK". *excuse my horrible picture, I couldn't wait*

Perfect large juicy lamb chops, potato wedges, tomato, green peppers, olives, pita bread and feta cheese.

Let me convince you: this place serves the absolute best lamb chops in Wilmington, hands down. No fancy decor here, just great food. I grew up on a sheep farm in South Africa, where lamb chops and eggs were our daily breakfast and then we got them for dinner too. Trust me, I know my lamb chops, if they are on the menu at a restaurant in Wilmington I try them, and the ones here at The Greeks are top-tier. Four massive, perfectly cooked chops (I prefer mine rare), grilled to perfection by the owner himself, who's nailed it every time I've visited--four times now! The sides are a standout too, especially the potato wedges, which taste like a nostalgic nod to my South African roots. My family also raved about the gyro platters--huge portions, everything fresh and flavorful. Last night, I tried lamb chops at Kipo's; they were good but didn't come close to the magic here. If you're after the best lamb chops and authentic Greek cuisine in town, head to The Greeks in Ogden. You won't be disappointed!

Honestly, the best food around. I go once a week minimum. Get the souvlaki! It's the best!

Now while vacationing in NC, I expected to find some damn fine barbecue, which I did two doors down from Meet the Greek at Heritage BBQ. But a place the serves solid Greek food, like lamb & beef gyro meat shaved off a spit!!! No way!! Friends let me tell you, most happily, I was wrong!!! Meet the Greek delivers fresh, hot, tasty Greek food in belly filling quantities!! I went with two friends and I ordered a large beef lamb gyro, a 4 piece order of Dolmas, stuffed grape leaves, and of course some Baklava for dessert. The gyro was massive, freshly cut lamb & beef with red onions, tomatoes, lettuce, and a generous helping of fresh herbaceous Tzatziki sauce!! To say it hit the spot would be an understatement!! The Dolmas were also very fresh with perfect seasoned rice that has just been the right touch of mint. How one can feel so full yet pleased that it also felt like a healthy meal!! The Baklava, a dessert, paper thin filo pastry layered with chopped nuts and honey, even felt on the healthier side of things as I licked the sweet honey from my fingers and considered all the other carnival sweets I indulged in whilst on my beech vacation!! My one friend got a medium gyro and barely finished it, said he wanted to stop but it tasted too good not to finish it. My other friend chose a Caesar salad, not exactly Greek but she was delighted to find the Caesar dressing so fresh, cheesy, and creamy! Meet the Greek also offers not only a Greek Salad but an even more traditional Horiatiki or Village Salad featuring briny Kalamata Olives. This would have been the one for me had I not been so stuffed from my gyro & grape leaves! The restaurant itself is not large but is very clean with a nautical Greek village decor that only enhances your dining experience. The staff was very friendly and accommodating as well. If you are new to Greek food or just looking for something different from beach vacation fare, I highly suggest you take the short ride and take a bite of some excellent and generously portioned Greek Treats!!! Your taste buds and belly will exclaim OPA!!!

The garden area was absolutely beautiful and worth going to for a evening meal just by itself. Definitely one of the nicer interior restaurants we have been to in a while. The menu options were ok, not as varied as I would have liked but I also think if I liked fish I would have enjoyed the options more They have an elaborate table side filtering of fish which would be a unique experience for those who enjoy fish. My husband ordered the braised short rib with orzo and I ordered the moussaka. No bread or any other offering was provided which was a bit disappointing at this price point Both of our dishes were good but nothing exceptional. I recently had mossaka in Edinburgh Scotland and it was noticeably better with a rich complex flavor, this one was a bit bland. I think if we had friends coming into town and wanted a nice upscale ambience where the food is secondary I would go back, but probably won't be a frequent option for us

I wanted to keep that run of fresh delicious salads and fresh Medeterranian flavors going. I found that here, this is my third visit in three days. This visit I was greeted with "Hi Chris, how's your dad?" by chef Reema. Minutes later her husband arrives, same thing, "How's your dad?" I had just met these guys two days before. Such delightful and caring people. The food here is amazing and so fresh! The chicken gyro platter is superb and healthy. Tender, flavorful chicken on a nice greek salad with delicious homemade hummus. The spicy sauce is outstanding and so flavorful. They have 5 flavors of hummus! I am gluten intolerant so they gave me fresh cucumber slices for my hummus instead of pita. So good! The stuffed grape leaves were also excellent. This particular location at The Pointe, is my new favorite restaurant in Wilmington. It might look like a fast casual place but this food is made with love and served proudly. The flavors here are extraordinary!!! Remaa, the owner and chef won't let you down! Don't miss this gem at The Pointe!

I paid online and received an email and text on how to reach them if needed. They said 20 minutes to prepare the food which was just enough time for me to get my things and drive there! When we pulled in they had a convenient drive-thur! The women asked my name and my food was ready a few minutes early. She was very nice and gave me extra cilantro and hot sauce when I asked! So simple and fast! We had ordered a classic gyro, a gyro shawarma and the veggie platter with a Greek salad, grape leaves, plantains and cilantro jalapeño hummus! Everything was made exactly to order and so delicious. I should have ordered more pita for the hummus because it didn't come with any. The gyros were huge with plenty of meat and sauce. I preferred the classic versus the shawarma but since my husband and I shared I got the best of both!! The plantains were like a dessert and almost melted in your mouth. All the flavors were perfect for this quick Mediterranean meal! We'll definitely be back!
