Worst Place to take your car for service. They are not even competant to put a new battery in your car. There charges are way out of line. They put a new battery in my MKX and it did not even have all the cells filled with water. And they tell you your brakes and tires need replaced when not even necessary. Update for review. So finally after 3 MONTHS our truck was fixed in South Dakota at McKie Ford. The odd thing is 2 weeks before it was finally finished. Korum randomly called the dealership who was dealing with our mess in South Dakota and asked for an update. After weeks of nothing!!! They certainly didn't call us to check on us. The customers!!! Ridiculous. He tells them that during a meeting we had come up in conversation so they wanted to check on us. Really? us? Nice try. Luckily we have a good relationship with the McKie Ford so they let my husband know. He called Korum and of course got voice mail for the GM. But he blasted him letting him know again how disappointed we were with the whole way they treated us! And come to find out the service manager who we were told to deal with the whole time. Is no longer employed at Korum. Interesting. So again Korum dropped the ball in an opportunity to deal with us, the customers and to try to make it right. Instead, they didn't, they called the other dealership just to see if our truck was fixed yet. And then nothing to us. So again I stress, DO NOT BUY FROM KORUM FORD IN PUYALLUP. I have a 2004 suv and the service department teamwork of Doug T, Tina G and Jason P, service managers and technicians came together really well, All parts were there in advance, work done while I waited, came in under budgeted price, all while I was able to laptop work from the waiting room with delicious free coffee , a great salad for lunch from the waiting room delicatessen. I am so happy with my new Ford F-150 Lariat! I will recommend Woody a 100% of the time! He was amazing! This was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had! Mike the service adviser told me they couldn't tell me why my explorer was down shifting hard, but they still charged me $85. So my hard down shifting still there, just because they couldn't duplicate the symptom doesn't mean it's not there. They didn't do a professional and fulI diagnosis. basically gave them $85 for free. Mike's costumer service skills need to improve..He seemed annoyed and careless when I was talking to him. That made me feel depreciated and no important as a paying costumer. His impression was to get me out of the door right of way. And on top of that I thought FORD would at least wash my explorer and remove their plastic bad they used on my seat and paper removed from the floor. I had been in the market for an SUV with a 3rd row. I'm a busy grandma that watches my 3 grandkids twice a week and need the room for car seats, big dogs, Costco runs and trips to our cabin. I have been test driving 3-4 different brand SUVs and quite frankly they are all pretty nice. But the Explorer felt familiar and comfortable. My husband and both our kids have Ford F-150s that we can't recommend enough. I had already arranged financing through our credit union and the finance department at Korum said they thought they could do better. They didn't push or oversell... I told them it was through BECU and that's one of the CU's Korum shops for rates. But they were right. They could do better! Our whole experience (including test drive) was about 3 hours and I drove away with a 2018 Explorer Limited with full powertrain and lifetime warranty. No one else could touch the price. It had 14,000+ miles on it. It's beautiful, comfortable, and feels very safe. Now I keep finding excuses to drive somewhere. Anyone need me to run an errand for them?!?! read more

This review is of the Korum Ford Service Dept. Brought my truck in to investigate a suspicious noise. Scheduled a day to leave it there and have them check it out. They couldn't duplicate noise. Brought it back for the third time, met with tech and pointed out the noise. I was told it's nothing don't worry about it there is nothing wrong. Knowing better I went to Riverside Ford (now Sunset) for another opinion. I worked with the shop foreman and explained everything and what I thought the issue was. They took my truck and ran the required tests. Long story short I ended up with a new short block under warranty because my suspicions were correct. Riverside never charged me a dime. 10,000 miles later and my engine still purrs like a kitten. I will never consider Korum for any business in the future. I'm sure Korum is fine for an oil change or check engine light diagnosis, however I believe they are to big and to busy to care about and genuinely consider a customer's concerns if the problem is not blatantly obvious or diagnosable via scan tools. Update in regards to Korum's response: Yes the noise I mentioned to the service writer from the heater switch was addressed and recommended to be replaced cuz it was stripped. Cost was in the $300 to $400 range. I declined due to the cost and it being a relatively simple fix if it becomes an issue. As far as the brakes go there was no noise. If there was I would remedy on my own. However, there was a clunking noise from the rear end that I also mentioned to the service writer and there is a technical service bulletin about this. That issue was taken care of at Korum as well. All in all I was charged $270.43 for the diagnosis and to re-grease the slip yoke with what I hope was the Teflon grease recommended by Ford to address the common rear end clunk during acceleration. I hope this review benefits others. read more

I arrived April to look at a Fusion Hybrid. Test drove it, but they wanted way more than I was willing to pay. They steered me towards the gas version 2011 Fusion. This car had the 4 cylinder engine & was told what great gas mileage it gets. I decided to buy it without checking to see what other dealers would sell a plain Jane Fusion for & soon learned I paid way too much. Chalk it up to a learning experience. Not only that, but I soon discovered that this 4 cylinder engine had 4 cylinder power with a V-6 gas mileage. When I got home I discovered I didn't have the second key. I honestly don't know if the failed to give it to me or if I some how lost it, but the said just look & see if you can find it. After 3 weeks I gave up trying to find it & went back. It cost me $186 for a second key. Korum Ford asked me if I would like to have the 09 Mercury that I traded in back & when I said yes, they were silent because they were expecting me to say no. But they wouldn't do nothing because they got their money. I didn't forget about the stars above because Korum is in the negative column. PS Now even Yelp is giving me lousy service. Yelp wouldn't let me post this unless I gave Korum at least 1 star which is 2 more than it deserves. That was the last straw. After 21 different Fords, & Mercury's, I decided I would never buy another Ford product again. I went car shopping & after 3 days I traded the the Fusion in with just 603 miles on the odometer for a Toyota Avalon that is 3 times the car. It not only has a V-6 with good performance, but it gets better gas mileage in-spite of being a bigger & more comfortable car. Yes it cost me to trade the ConFusion, I mean Fusion in, but Titus Will made me an excellent deal on the Avalon that helped even it out. Still Korum cost me about $6,000 when you take in to consideration that their original price was $3,000 higher than it should have been. read more

I've bought 2 used Ford's from this place and had some service work done. I don't know why I kept going back but I'm finally through with them and won't be going back. Their used Ford sales guys are pretty nice, they're not going to give you the best deal ever but they make the experience pleasent enough. That's what got me to go back and buy the 2nd vehicle from them. Offer for trade-in was ridiculously low, it was a Civic that was only a couple years old, not going to be that hard to sell. Definately watch out on trades. At signing as expected the guy was trying to upsell everything imaginagle, accessories, GAP protection, warranties, paint protectant, you name it. He was really high pressure, pushy, and rude. When selling GAP and extended warranties he basically told me I'm a total idiot for not buying them and he just could not believe I was that dumb to not buy them. This really ruined the experience that had been fairly good up to that point. What a piece of crap! Went by there a few more times in the next couple of years to look at different cars we were interested in. Started to negotiate on a Toyota they had that the price was really high on, ended up practically a shouting match with the sales guy and sales manager swearing they had basically paid more for the trade than the Toyota dealership down the street was asking retail for theirs. Rather than just admit that they couldn't get the price down to what I was asking they went on and on trying to justify the price, rather than drop it and try to find something that would be a better fit. Then a couple years later I took a Ford in I had purchased elsewhere that needed some warranty work done. They have a fairly large shop and the location is convienent so I gave it a try. What a pain!! They ended up keeping it over a week longer than they had originally told me, communication with serivce writer was terrible, I always had to leave him a couple voicemails before he would call back, never once answered when I called. 3 times I went there to pick it up after they said I could come get it, and when I got there they said they wanted to keep it one more day "just to make sure everything is right". That got really old fast. The 3rd time that happened I was upset and talked to a few people in the service department that could offer no help and didn't seem to care at all, didn't try to smooth it over at all. Finally ended up talking to the sales manager for new Fords, he said he would talk with the service writer and service manager and find out what was going on and see what he could do to fix the situation, then call us back the next day. Do you think we ever heard back? Nope! Then after 3 "want to make sure it's all done right" lines, finally picked it up. Didn't make it to the fairgrounds before it was spewing nasty smoke out from under the hood. Took it back, it was Friday night and they were all trying to leave. They told me that it's normal since they steam clean the motor and it's probably just stuff burning off, give it until Monday. I told them no way it's burn off, it's billowing smoke!! Bottom line they didn't want to look at it. Took it back Monday for them to fix.....again. Oops, they screwed up putting one of the valve covers and it was leaking oil on to the exhaust. They finally got it fixed right. Despite all this crap, there was no way they would waive the $100 deductible on the repairs, and no one said sorry this has been a pain, or sorry for the frustration or anything like that. Finally I'm done with that place!! I would highly recommend you stay away and go somewhere else, THIS PLACE SUCKS!!!! read more

It all stared with 4 recall notices from Lincoln ( not the dealerships fault, but I will NEVER buy Ford product again ). I called to schedule the issues to be fixed only to be passed off to a voice mail. I left a voicemail thinking it must be procedure with recall services. I waited about 5 days and decided to call back, I spoke with Sabrina who sent me to a voicemail again. I left a voicemail & waited about a week. I figured they were probably slammed with other customers making the same call I was making - I'm sure I wasn't the only one with a recall. If I told you I had to call back & leave another voicemail, would you believe me?? Well, I did call back, spoke with the same Sabrina ( I verified just to be sure ), and left yet another voicemail. It's is now about a week after the last voicemail & I just left another one. This time I am stranded on the side of the freeway, at 12 a.m, 200 miles away from home, with meetings in the morning & still 75 miles away from my hotel. I wonder if they will return THAT voicemail? I have three vehicles now and buy a new car every two years like clock work. I will never purchase another Ford product and I will never buy from Korum. **** update***** Korum did call me back and talking to the service manager was just as worse than not receiving a call back at all. He said that I did make appts but that I didn't show up for them. But he also said that there is no record of me EVER taking my car there..... I have documents from them showing I got routine oil changes there.....WOW!!! read more

To make a very long story short this dealership was so bad I had to involve Lincoln Financial Services to get the dealership to send the payoff on time. They lied to my face, to LFS and were reprimanded by Lincoln - Ford Credit. I tried to call the owner of this dealership many times to inform them the head of finance was playing games but none of my calls were returned. I would not trust them to take out my trash they are so bad. read more

I am going to be completely honest here. The customer service here needs some work and customer concerns need to be a priority. I didn't like being pushed off to later dates multiple times especially when my concerns were areas included in the multi-point inspection and all I wanted was quick peak taken and told what they thought. I have been very patient with you guys. I also don't like being told there is nothing wrong when truly there is an issue. Larry is awesome and he really took care of me. We finally got our Ford Focus fixed.....no hassle! It WAS NOT FIXED BY KORUM FORD. We had another issue that came up and we were determined not to take it back to Korum Ford. So we took it to another dealership in Sumner. Imagine our surprise when they asked us if there were any other issues that concerned us. We mentioned the problems that we had that KORUM FORD WOULD NOT FIX! They said they knew what the problem was. They didn't mention anything about a machine that didn't show a problem! We picked up our 2012 Ford Focus at the end of the day and were told in addition to fixing the problem that we brought it in for they also put in a new clutch. The clutch was still under warranty. Our car has never run as good as it does since they fixed it. We can not thank Sunset Ford enough for finally fixing our car!! read more

I am a serious buyer and they are so scattered around here that I don't want to even buy a vehicle from here. Seems like the truck has a transmission issue that's being worked on and isn't ready for sale anyway. I wasted two days waiting on this vehicle that wasn't ready for dale. For the first time in...well...ever...I went to a used car lot, and was not confronted with the stereotypical "used car salesman". I saw a car I was interested in on their website, and called to set up a time to come and take a test drive. Karen, the nice lady on the other end of the line, was very helpful and got me scheduled for the next day. I was to ask for manager Mike Niles. When I arrived on the lot, the first salesman who approached greeted me nicely, asked if he could help, and then took me directly to Mr. Niles. Mike was very friendly, got me set up with Paul Helling, my salesman, and off I went for my test drive. During the test drive, Paul was not trying to hard sell me on the virtues of the car. Instead, he spoke of how much he has enjoyed working for the Korum group over the last few years, and what a great organization it was. He allowed the car to sell itself (which it did). Going in, I made it clear that I would not be purchasing a car that day as there was another that I would be looking at 2 days later. Not once did Paul try to pressure me to take the car that day. He respected what I had told him, gave me his card and let me know to contact him with any questions. I did end up buying the car, though it took a few days to actually take possession as Korum took care of having two recall items fixed at Nissan, ran it through their inspection, replaced several items that needed replacing (at no extra charge to me), and throughout it all were very good at communicating where things stood. I can say, without hesitation, that should I need to buy a car in the future, and Korum has what I am looking for, I will be going there first. Edit/Update: Adding 2 stars for follow up. General Manager looked me up, called me, and reimbursed me for the tires and electrical and promised to follow up with those involved to make improvements for future customers. Original: Recently bought a used van from Korum Ford-Lincoln. Can't say they lived up to their promises. I traded in a 2010 to get a 2014. After haggling over the price for two days, I finally agreed to pay more than I originally planned because the car had most things on our checklist. Part of the deal, Korum agreed to move my trailer hitch from the old car to the new car, send the car through a service and safety check, and arranged a discount with the dodge dealer down the street to help us replace missing headphones for the DVD player. The safety check decided the bald tires where OK. They were completely bald on the sides (smooth to the touch), but had tread in the middle. Probably had been run under inflated by a previous owner. Korum decided that because the center had tread, the tires wouldn't be replaced. Getting just 2 of the tires replaced afterwards was $374. The 'service' apparently didn't include an oil change because the oil change indicator came on 2 days later. (about 50-80 miles?) The discount with dodge was supposed to get us the headphones and remote for $80+tax. When my wife went in to pick them up they where $160. When she complained she was told if she didn't take the deal the price was going to go to $320. When I called my sales guy at Korum he said he knew about the price switch but decided not to tell us, because we could decide if we still wanted them when we got to dodge. This is more Dodge's fault than Korum's, but Korum did make a promise they couldn't keep. What I do totally blame Korum for though is the trailer hitch. They moved over the metal, and they ran the wires up to the engine block, but then handed me a piece of paper that said my deal did not include wiring the hitch to the car, and informed me that I should go hire dodge to finish wiring it at my own expense. I was going to call the sales guy to complain, but they told me there was no point because the decision not to cover it was the used car sales manager. Hiring dodge to finish the job I already paid Korum to do cost me another $306. Overall, we like the car now that its safe and finished, but Korum doesn't rate very highly on keeping their end of the bargain. read more

Not only that I was assured that they have a 65 minute turn around time policy for customers with appointments. I'll be giving them another chance as I can appreciate a business taking time to correct and compensate unhappy customers. read more

I purchased a 2016 Chrysler 200S from Korum a couple of months ago. I came back because I had a great experience back in 2014 when I bought the same. My how times have changed. First off, let me say my sales person was great. He listened to me and found me the right car. This one-star rating (which I wish could be a zero-star rating) is compliments of the finance guy Ron. Once my loan was approved and I was ready to sign the paperwork, I went in to see Ron. He seemed like a jovial guy, almost aloof. Once I started going through the process with him, I realized that he's not aloof, he's just lazy. One by one he just kept tossing papers in front of me and telling me where to sign. Everytime I had a question about what I was being asked to sign he'd say "oh, you know, it's just a bank thing". I should have shut the program down right there and made him explain to me what all the paperwork meant. Honestly, I was drained from being there for so long and this wasn't my first rodeo. Here's where the first major problem happened. Once the main loan paperwork was handled, it was time to go over various options (like Gap insurance). All of the sudden, Mr. Lazy turned into a customer service professional and was going over the extras that he said I needed. I watched a video on a paint coat and talked about a treatment for the leather interior. Before we really got into it, I let Mr. Lazy know that I wouldn't be buying any extras and that I already negotiated to get Gap insurance included in my payment. He pressed the issue for a good 10-15 minutes until I finally told him that it wasn't going to happen. From that second on, he said NOTHING to me except "sign here". I understand that he probably makes extra money when he sells these things, but he made me feel like a total zero. I was the one spending tens of thousands of dollars and he was treating me like I wasn't worth his time. The final issue that happened here was when I had to bring my wife in. She was on the last loan and needed to sign off on the old car. Ron, I mean Mr. Lazy, had the receptionist there call me numerous times in a 24hour period even though I said we'd be coming in that evening. I let the receptionist know that we were heading to a concert and needed to be in and out as quickly as possible. Well, we showed up and when Mr. Lazy saw my wife he said "wow, look at you, all racked out". Yes my wife looks good, and yes she was wearing a lower cut concert shirt (AC/DC!) but that is completely and utterly unacceptable! I already don't care for this idiot and if it wasn't for the fact that I had a date night lined up with my wife already, we would have had a real confrontation. Long story short, Ron in finance (AKA, Mr. Lazy) only cares about what you are going to buy to line his pockets. He'll treat you like a nobody if you don't buy his extras, and if you bring your wife or girlfriend in there expect some sort of harassment. Did I voice my experience to Korum? Yes. Did I get a reply from the GM? Yes. Did he offer to do anything? Nope. After reading other reviews on here, it doesn't sound like fixing the problems they create is on their to-do list. I bought 2 brand new cars there in 2 years and I'll never bring my business there ever again. I'm making sure that none of my friends or family will buy there either. read more

I bought my first brand new car (2016 Ford Fusion SE) from Freddie Trotter on Saturday February 20th. He made the experience a great one and very easy. He was on top of everything and answered any questions I had. I kept him and the finance guy there past closing and they never made me feel rushed. I settled on Financing with one CU and Frank the finance guy found me a better rate Sunday morning so I ran down and signed new paperwork.
