The customer service and financial departments are both horrible! I set up finances ahead of time and made it clear we would be in a rush to get the deal done as my husband had to work very early. When we arrived no one knew anything about what I had already set up and the finance person took great pleasure in taking his time and trying to make us mad. He has a big sick smile on his face the whole time! There is something worng with him for sure! We were all set to buy this $25K vehicle and drive it home but he totally blew the deal!!!! I would not send anyone to this car lot ever!!!! The next day we went to a Ford dealer in Chehalis and closed the deal with pleasure and were treated like royalty! 2016 Used F150 Platinum. I bought the used truck at night and didn't notice there weren't any floor mats because plastic was on the floor. I asked for mats and was told they could probably get me some. NO Mats! After a few weeks I went back in and asked about getting a discount to buy some. I've received NO call backs. What a bunch of horse pucky! They refuse to cover the damages. Went in to purchase a mustang. They offered me $2,500 for my truck when KBB trade in value is 10k. I was offended and clearly stated that it was worth much more than that and the salesman went to get his manager to "see what he could do" and basically said my truck was not worth the $2,500 they were offering. Long story short the manager continued to insult me and argue with me and i left very displeased. I went to fugate Ford in Enumclaw the next day and they gave me the 10k i was asking for on my trade in and a better deal on the mustang. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!! read more

Took my car in for a recall, the brakes were barely working at all. They completed the recall, at least they say they did, 400 miles later the brakes totally went out. My 19 yr old son ended up 6 ft into an intersection. I called Korum and they told me to bring it in and see if something went wrong. So I drove the car many miles using the parking brake to get there, when I arrived they said they would not look at the car because they already did the recall. So, I now have a car with no brakes at all. THANKS KORUM for making it worse. No wonder they show a 3 average on yelp, the only good reviews I see are obvious fakes. read more

We did not purchase a car but the customer service was amazing. We were warmly greeted by salesman Mike and he listened and took notes! Not just mental notes but actual write down on a piece of paper note's! He listened to what we were looking for and never tried to push us out of our zone. He took the time to pull multiple cars up side by side and we ended up choosing a different model car then we came in for. Not because we were pushed but because we were given the opportunity to go side by side and drive one right after the other. IF YOU GOING TO BUY A CAR ASK FOR MARC GADISON. It was my first car haggling in my life and  with Marc it was actually fun. As I said im pretty young early 20th and I was kind of scared to make a deal with used car dealers because I dont know anything about art of negotiating and there is good chance that dealer will clean you out by pressure. However with him it was not that bad, I had full paper of questions that I was going to ask(oil change, battery change, recall, lease car, etc). Each time I asked him, he went into get the paper for my questions(instead of just saying its fixed or we changed it like 3month ago), he got me a prof. Moreover, he was always one step ahead, he opened hood before I even got there, got the answers for my question before I ask. Oh and one thing that he did that 3 other dealer after him didnt. He actually told me a flaw of car. He was so honest with me, although I used that flaw to my advantage on cutting price on car later. He was really honest. And one more, I didnt end up buying car from him because simply the car was over my budget his manager didnt meet my expectation. But I asked about the hybrid car (FROM DIFFERENT SHOP) that im going to go to after this him(the problem, normal market price) and he told me everything plus he told me that car is pretty good deal and told me it might be better for me to buy that car. If you look for him. He will help you out as a person not as a dealer who pressure you to buy the car with hidden flaw. However, he is a dealer from korum shop he have to make a living. He will not help you out on none-sence price that you going to push on them. His probably will not going to cut a price on car for free(actaully he didnt cut me a good amount of car :( but he is helpful and kind). You have to do your own research on the car before you get there. Set up your own limit on price. And if that doesnt work with them dont blame on dealer. Bought an SUV from Korum Ford recently. Price was competetive, financing was no problem. They cleaned the car up very nice b4 delivering to my home and put a lot of work into it b4 delivery, tires, brakes and a few other things. Even gave me a rental while I was waiting for it. That being said, communication between myself and the sales rep and managers was poor. I was told they had to replace the head gasket which is why it took a week after I bought it to take delivery, and this turned out to be false. I asked about getting the A/C working and got no response. Almost every time I called the sales rep or mgr with a question or follow up I was told I would get a call back by a certain time and that didnt happen. The plates took right up to the last minute to get and I set up a time to pick them up when I was told tgey were there and when I got there they didnt know anything about the arrangement and I wasted an hour 1/2 for nothing. When I called to get a quote on getting the A/C fixed I couldn't get a solid quote and so I left msgs for the sales rep and service mgr to call back which they never returned. So, to sum up, nice car, good price, everything (except the a/c) was fixed, but communication and honesty get a thumbs down. read more

This place sucks! Their vehicles are all overpriced just to increase profits to their evergrowing kingdom! I, too, was a believer in them since that's where I bought my first Ford Explorer. But beware..it's almost guaranteed that you can get a better deal elsewhere. They have "such a good name" in the community so I felt I could trust their service shop w/ my 06 Explorer that needed a brake job. These idiots somehow managed to drop my truck from the freakin' lift! Are you kidding me??? They said it was some "freak" accident that they've never seen happen before and blah, blah, blah, blah. But of course, being Korum they would make it right, right? Wrong. Worst experience ever! Okay, yeah, they let me borrow a loaner Fusion (imagine soccer mom going from Explorer to Fusion). They told me it was "purely cosmetic" damage. Umm, okay, I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to mechanics but any person with any intelligence will safely assume that there is more than cosmetic damage when a truck falls from ANY height! They said they would take care of it & let their insurance handle it. A day or two in a body shop and I would be good to go. I asked them to at least give me a 1 yr warranty should any mechanical damage have occurred that we couldn't yet see. No, no, no, surely it was all cosmetic. So their insurance guy calls me up and says, "uh yeah, your Explorer is a total loss." WTH?? You mean this super-star auto shop couldn't tell there was that much damage??? After weeks of negotiating w/ their insurance co, I got a call from Jerry Korum...real un-nice guy. Just what you'd expect from "the man." He called me at my work 4 times in 1 hr threatening to pick up his Fusion if I didn't return it right away. What a jerk. He spoke to me like I was his 12 yr old son who just got caught joy-riding! After I gave him the facts of what was really taking place (because all he heard was stories from his minions) he said they world work with me to make this all right. Long story short (because this was really quite an ordeal) they showed us some overpriced, overused Explorers & would not give us any kind of price break AT ALL. These jerks were the same people that left me w/o any vehicle because they were negligent and they have all the power in thier monarchy to help me out since they got me into this whole situation and all I got was a bunch of garbage from some senior manager who felt they had done all they needed to do already. I couldn't make all this up even if I tried. All I'm saying is you can find a better deal elsewhere. These guys have tons of overhead and they have become too big to care for the average jane. Never buy from this slime-hole. I made two separate purchases here. I bought a Ford Ranger in 2000 and a Mustang GT in 2006. The Ranger was a good deal and never had to go in for service before it was sold at 120,000 miles. Thinking I would like another good experience I went back. The used (2005) Mustang GT was supercharged, lowered, and had a custom exhaust but was under factory warranty still. Between 30,000 miles at time of purchase and 90,000 miles I exclusively services the car with Korum as I had purchased an extended warranty at time of sale. I should have read the fine print. As it turns out, this car was an absolute lemon, or so it seemed. Multiple alternators replaced, serpentine belts, and a pulley that froze up. There was also an electrical wiring problem with the inter cooler, an issues with spark plugs stuck in the engine due to carbon build up, a collision censor that triggered falsely and cut the fuel, and countless other issues. Every time nothing was ever covered by warranty and Korum always gave me the run around. Each time it was in the shop they found other things wrong from the last time, and something else always broke shortly thereafter. One incident which was my fault was hitting a steel plate in a construction zone which damaged the Borla exhaust system. It was in the shop for weeks and I was told it had to be sent elsewhere for custom work with the Borla exhaust. It cost more that $1800. Recently while changing my own oil I noticed one of the 2 mufflers says Ford on it. Another time my brake fluid was low and Korum said they topped it off. Months later the entire braking system failed. The seals were swollen from having the wrong braking fluid added. All seals, hydraulics, and calipers had to be replaced. The cost was almost $5000 and was clearly the fault of Korum. Nobody else had added brake fluid. We had a meeting with the mechanic and managers, including the GM. They basically said "you can't prove nobody else added the wrong fluid so we won't pay for it". They discounted $1000 after threatening lawsuit. This was the last time took my car there. Yet a year later my left rear caliper froze up. As it turns out, it had never been replace though the other 3 had. Fear of even more problems I never took the car back and started taking my car to another shop. Since that time I have had almost zero problems with the vehicle and the small things that have been replaced were far less expensive that the rates at Korum. I've put another 50,000 miles on with almost no issues. I've determined the car was likely never a lemon, but rather the dealership and their service shop was a lemon. NEVER buy a car her and even more important, never have a car service here. I was in the market for a new car around the time of the brake incident. I told them I would buy from them again if they made things right but they refused. I booth my 2011 Escape V6 AWD from Titus Will. It was a smooth and easy experience, great price, and was treated like a human. I was clearly explained what an extended warranty would and would not cover. No problems so far. I left out so many bad incidents with Korum but I didn't have time to write an entire novel. As stated before, avoid them like the plague. read more

First post ever on Yelp. Why because that is how appauled by my experience from their Sales team. I would like to state that I started my dealings with Korum by going through the internet. I was helped by Mellissa who is an OUTSTANDING customer service agent. When I thanked her for all she had done (over 20 emails and 2 lengthy phone conversations) I asked to come in and test drive the vehicles. I also made it very clear I was tired of pushy no customer service sales people and please make sure I was going to work with somebody as caring as she was. Now comes Reggie (the 30yr vetran in the industry "Proclaimed"). Reggie first did not even know how the car worked. Then we went for the test drive where he proceeded to tell me how to drive the car (what speed I should drive at, what exit I should take). He turned the music down so I could not check out the speaker system. When I confronted him on it he just go quiet. Then started the schmoozing of my son. As if redirecting the conversation from the buyer to his son was going to help? After driving the cars they did offer to let me take a car home (I think cuz it was now 30 minutes after closing and they did not want to stay). This is where Mike (the Sales Manager comes in) in Mikes defense he seemed like a normal guy and I hear he got sick and has not been in. That being said I work 2 jobs and often very late. I asked that negotiations start over phone or email. I was told that would be great and I would hear from them in the morning. Never contacted! I had my wife take the car back and let them know I was not interested. At 7:30pm that night I finally got a call from Reggie. Leaving a message he tells me that my wife told him how much I liked the car, WTF? At this point I am done with Korum. But why write the review? Well I just got another call from Reggie. Denying anything on the message (that I still have on my phone). Trying to talk cars through a 3rd party instead of me. Then the change in tone and the abrupt hang up from Reggie. I am an avid buyer and purchase a new car every 2 years. Sorry Korum, that will never happen. read more

I am going to be completely honest here. The customer service here needs some work and customer concerns need to be a priority. I didn't like being pushed off to later dates multiple times especially when my concerns were areas included in the multi-point inspection and all I wanted was quick peak taken and told what they thought. Salesman or manager who brought a lap dog with him has disrespected my wife by calling my wife babe to hop on to yellow thunderbird display and commanded my wife in front of me to give him her cell phone to take a photo of her but I stopped him but then he have lusted the view when my wife got out from the car to check upskirt. The boyfriend and I came here looking to get some prices on new cars after his truck died. There was a gentleman salesman that was helping us (can't remember his name) and after we made it clear we weren't going to be buying that day, he gave us to someone else. I thought it was incredibly rude, but overall, I was thankful. That's when we met Doreen Dryer. She was extremely patient with us, showed us cars that fit our budgets, and although she used the sales tactics (I've been in sales for years - You can't fool me), she wasn't like a lot of "those" salespeople. The first of two complaints I have is about a used car that they had just gotten in. It was like a 15-year old car but with SUPER low mileage on it. The boyfriend gave it a quick test run and we came back. When we asked about price, she mentioned it was like $10,000 or something like that. That seemed like a lot of money so I did a quick check on my phone on Kelly Blue Book - The value of the car was either $3,000 or $5,000 - I don't remember which. I asked her if they would be willing to come down to whatever the price was on KBB and she said no because that wouldn't cover the cost of the trade in (she wasn't aware I checked KBB). This tells me one of two things: 1. She thinks I'm an idiot and don't check my numbers. 2. Her car dealership paid WAY too much for a trade in. I don't necessarily think #1 is correct, but I'm sure Korum doesn't have multiple locations and is still in business by paying twice as much (or three times as much) on trade-ins. So yeah...That was one thing that kind of irked me, especially when you consider the rudeness of the first guy, but I let it go because she was not completely pressuring us. The only other complaint I have is that we purchased an additional warranty, but when the car already started giving us issues, they couldn't tell me if it was something that would be covered by warranty or not. I would have to bring the car in and if it was deemed "not a warranty" issue, the diagnostic fee was $150. I'm glad I didn't go to their service department and went to my regular mechanic instead - It wasn't a warranty issue but I didn't have to pay $150.00 for a diagnostic fee on top of repairs. Long story short, when we walked out, we got a good price on a good car, a MORE than fair trade in value, and were overall happy with the experience. There are complaints about any company but Korum was a lot better than some car sales companies. I would recommend them (and Doreen in particular) for anyone that is looking for a vehicle. read more

I just picked up my new Explorer from them tonight and couldn't be happier. Ryan was extremely helpful and understanding. I changed my mind every 5 seconds it seemed about what I wanted and he never seemed bothered or impatient with me. I decided what I wanted on Sunday night but I wanted a black one and they didn't have the exact one I wanted on the lot so in less than 48hrs he had it ready for me to pick up. I started by looking online-and Melissa in internet sales was very responsive, friendly, and helpful. The particular model with options was a little unique, and Scott (sales manager) quickly located the vehicle in Oregon. I set an appointment and went to the dealership. Scott was very open and honest, and gave me not only a good value for my trade, but a great deal on the new vehicle. Start to finish I was at the dealer for less than 3 hours. The vehicle arrived the very next day (from Oregon)-as promised-and then Scott went through every detail-he even set up my phone! Took my Ford Ranger truck in for several minor repairs, one being a new shift indicator cable, which, they did not have the part, was going to take 2 or 3 months to get it, however, I was charged that day $150 for what I thought was the labor to put it in the part when it arrived, which would be around the end of May. My total bill that day was $850 for what I had repaired and the $150 for the indicator cable install. Several weeks later, I received a call from Korum saying that the part would not be in now until "Maybe", October! I had to cancel, as I will not be in this area in October! So, went to Korum, to get a refund of the $150 labor I paid, and they told me that it was not for the labor to put in the part, but for looking at! I told them that I am the one who told you what I needed, all you had to do was order the part and install it.....so they basically said, that that $38 dollar part was going to end up costing me $300 dollars to put it in!! $150 to "LOOK" at it, and another $150 to put it in if and when it ever comes in!! Needless to say, I will never use there service again, nor will any of my family! read more

I had that sick feeling you get from past experiences. BUT our salesperson Dymetri kept saying they would take care of it.
