He told me that the reason that the engine was extremely loud was because it was a HEMI. That was a lie. The Dodge Charger comes with dual mufflers. The second set of mufflers was missing and this resulted in the louder than normal sound. In addition to this, I was informed that the reason that the tire pressure sensor was activated was that there were after market tires on the vehicle. This was also a lie. Les Schwab replaced a sensor and the warning signal went away. In each case, I did not ask the question 'Why?'. The salesperson (Adonis) volunteered the information. But for the fact that he lied to me I would have given this business a 5 star rating.

I also want to recognize Paul, the shop manager, who has gone above and beyond trying to help me throughout this situation. He has communicated with me, advocated for me, and continued trying to find solutions. My frustration is NOT directed toward Paul. Unfortunately, my overall experience with Austin Auto Sales after purchasing the vehicle has been extremely disappointing. Less than a month after purchasing my WRX, it developed major engine problems and ultimately needed an engine replacement. I purchased an extended warranty specifically for peace of mind, but I've now been without my vehicle for nearly two months, while continuing to make payments on a car I can't drive. I still don't even have my permanent license plates and am on temporary plates. The warranty eventually approved a replacement engine, but now there is another issue. The replacement engine needs timing belt service which the belt is worn tensioners are bad and the engine is used, which isn't covered by the warranty. Considering how quickly the original engine failed and how long I've already been without the vehicle, I asked whether the dealership could help with this additional expense. What really disappointed me was learning that my 1-star Google review was brought up when assistance was discussed with upper management, with the question being raised as to why they should participate in an additional expense for someone who left a bad review. That doesn't sit right with me. A review is supposed to reflect a customer's actual experience. I didn't leave a negative review for no reason. I left it because a vehicle I had barely owned suffered a major engine failure and I've spent nearly two months dealing with the aftermath. At this point, I'll pay for the timing belt service out of my own pocket. I'm done asking for financial assistance. I just want my WRX repaired and returned so I can finally move forward. I understand used vehicles can have unexpected problems. What matters is how a dealership responds when those problems happen shortly after a sale. Again, Dawn was great during the purchase, and Paul deserves recognition for everything he has personally done to help me afterward. Unfortunately, those positive individual experiences don't change how disappointed I am with the overall situation and the response from upper management. After nearly two months without a vehicle I had barely purchased, this experience has completely taken the excitement out of owning it. I cannot recommend Austin Auto Sales based on my experience. If you're considering purchasing a used vehicle here, do your homework, get an independent inspection, thoroughly understand the warranty, and understand what support you may receive if something major goes wrong after the sale.

Quoted in the Low $200s, Then Told It Would Cost More Than $400…read more I purchased my 2024 Toyota Sienna XLE from Toyota of Puyallup in November 2023. Before scheduling a brake-fluid flush, I called the dealership and was quoted a price in the low $200s. Based on that quote, I drove more than an hour from Bothell for the appointment. After I arrived, service advisor Liam told me the service would cost more than $400 because my Sienna is a hybrid. The dealership had access to my vehicle information when it provided the original quote, so I do not understand why the correct price was not given before I made the trip. After I objected, the dealership honored the original quoted price but described it as a "courtesy." Honoring the price I was quoted should not have been treated as a special favor after I relied on it when scheduling the service. The service manager was unavailable when I tried to address the issue, and my subsequent attempt to contact the dealership by email was unsuccessful. The dealership ultimately performed the service for the original quoted amount, but the attempt to more than double the price after I arrived significantly damaged my trust. Customers should be able to rely on a service quote--especially when the dealership already has the vehicle's information. Based on this experience, I would not return to Toyota of Puyallup for service.

They lowered the asking price by about 5k, got me an excellent rate at at a credit union, and a payment I can absolutely manage. There was never any pressure. Their goal was to make sure I was happy and boy am I!!! Magic Mike is one of the nicest people I have ever met. He is honest, has impeccable integrity and does his job to help people like me. We scheduled an appointment and drove down to Olympia the next day. When we first got there we were given a paper application and then were told that in order to be approved for a loan, we would have to trade in our other car (that was in a repo status). We specifically put on the application that we didn't want to trade in any car. We had made plans outside of the dealership to sell privately, but were told that it was a stipulation of the bank and we didn't have any option. We were hesitant, but continued with the paper application. Jonas ended up 'finding a way' to make it work without a trade in. Things started out a bit rocky, but got better the longer we were there. Jonas ended up getting me and my husband into a nice, clean, solid car (2014 VW Passat). He was very helpful and friendly. He listened to our needs and worked around our bad credit. He was straight up, no pressure. We are so happy with our purchase and would definitely buy from him again. Jeff O. helped us finalize the sale documents and seal the deal. He was experienced and friendly and worked with Jonas behind the scenes to get us the car we wanted. The reason for 4 not 5 stars was because of the trade in mixup and that they went to the gas station and gave us a little under a half tank after we bought the car. For us it's the little things that make all the difference, so I would suggest that they fill the tank up for new car buyers, especially on cars above $10k. It would be nice to have seen the CarFax as well. Other than those very minor things, these guys were absolutely awesome!! I would definitely purchase from them again. This place was legit. :)

Ryan was open and honest about what we could afford and Joe helped match us with a car that was perfect for our situation. They did not pressure us into a vehicle that was outside of our budget even though we were approved for more. I highly recommend this place! A great overall, low-pressure, experience. They lose a couple of stars because the car was not detailed to our expectations. There were nasty stains on the carpet, seats and crevices, grease, and trash from the previous owner. This is more of an indictment of the I-5 Cars service team. However, we postponed buying the car a couple of days for them to "detail" the vehicle and it looks as if they only did a surface wipe. To their credit, WAC did offer to take a look at the problem and possibly rectify the issue. We ultimately decided to a pay for a detailing professional to do the job since losing trust in their service capabilities and not wanting to drive back out to their location. Still a location I'd recommend to anyone looking to buy a new or used car.

The dealership is spotless, organized, and everyone we met was genuinely friendly, not the "I've had six coffees and a quota to hit" kind of friendly, but actual friendly. Our salesperson Sean was an absolute rockstar. His knowledge of the Kia EV9 is next-level, seriously, the guy could teach a master class on this thing. He explained every detail in plain English, answered every question without missing a beat, and somehow managed to make torque, charging rates, and drive modes sound exciting. Sean made the whole experience feel more like chatting cars with a buddy than sitting through a sales pitch. Jacob was also awesome, super helpful and made sure everything behind the scenes ran smooth as butter. Together, Sean and Jacob made a dream team. The whole dealership runs like a well-tuned engine, clean, professional, and welcoming. Even the coffee was good (and I'm picky about coffee). You can tell they actually care about their customers and take pride in what they do. If you're even thinking about checking out a Kia, especially the EV9, go see Sean and Jacob at Kia of Puyallup. You'll leave with a smile, a great car, and maybe even a new favorite dealership. The Kia EV9 is flat-out awesome, it's like driving the future but without the sci-fi soundtrack. The instant torque, smooth acceleration, and whisper-quiet ride make every trip feel effortless. No gas stations, no oil changes, just plug in and go. The tech inside is incredible too, from the massive screens to the ambient lighting and smart features that actually feel smart. After experiencing this level of comfort, power, and efficiency, I honestly can't imagine ever going back to a gas engine again. Once you go electric, everything else just feels... outdated.
