I had takeout but there are dine-in options with indoor seating. The indoor seating looked nice and the staff looked attentive and friendly. It is a clean-looking place that can accommodate groups. Regarding the food, the gyro platter and kostas pork were definitely a pricey option and I expected more than what I got for the price or at least for it to be absolutely delicious. The taste of it was decent but not amazing in my opinion. It also wasn't in easy pieces to eat with the pita triangles given. I enjoyed the gyro alot more then the kostas pork. All-in-all I enjoyed and finished the food but not sure if I would recommend it without giving it another try.

Kostas grill is definitely a worthy place to eat. Thank goodness for the sign because you can't see it from the road. It's in the far end of this shopping centre. Once you get inside, there's about 20-30 tables. Music isn't too loud but there is mild-moderate din from people talking. The food? Buckle up friend! It is SO GOOD. This place has everything from gyros to souvlaki to other Greek meatballs I can't pronounce. Amazing selection of both surf and turf. Awesome salads. I got the pork gyro special (with orzo) which came with a Greek salad for $21. Salad was my favorite, because it's. The hot entree was filling and tasty but the salad was my favorite. I'd love to try them all! (It didn't just have feta sprinkled on top, it had a block haha!) Highly recommend. (And yes there are selections there for the faint of taste)!

Nick was our server and he was an amazing host! He was really so friendly and personable and only added to our great experience at Kostas Grill. It was lunchtime and Nick really provided us with excellent service and made it look so easy. I could tell being at Kostas Grill in the off-season was in our favor. I'm sure Summertime is absolutely crazy busy so we took advantage of it. The halloumi appetizer was very good and went perfect with the fresh veggies and pesto. The Horitaki salad was excellent as well. Everything is as fresh as can be. The dressing was so good and the feta was too! We added falafel to the salad and it worked perfectly and gave the salad some crunch and texture too. Missing from view is the Baklava and coffee because they disappeared too quickly for a photo. Sorry about that. But you get the idea, that too was like you just stepped out of Athens! The next day we went back and took food out to bring home to our family for dinner. We tried some different dishes and each one of them was cooked to perfection. When you see a rating like this on Yelp you know you can expect to enjoy your meal. Try it and don't let the crowded strip mall scare you away. It's worth every bite.

Great food! We enjoyed the soft shell crabs, gyro and salads. Plenty of food with entrees. Our service Nick was great. Owner Nick made us Greek coffee. Had key lime ice cream for dessert. Warm atmosphere with beautiful pictures of Greece.

Updating my review from more than 4 years ago. Came back here and really enjoyed my dinner. Same friendly and wonderful service too! We ordered the flaming cheese after seeing several others order Thai. Very interesting dish. When it comes out, there are flames! The cheese is good, but it has a strong alcohol taste so may not be shit ale for kids. I ordered the chicken gyro platter and it was so good! Highly recommend this dish. It came with chicken chunks on a metal skewer, pita triangles, tzatziki sauce, lemon potatoes (from a choice of several options) and a bowl of salad. I'm not a salad person but this salad was good because of the dressing. ! My husband kept commenting on how I looked like I was really enjoying my meal! We also ordered lemon chicken, which was moist and tasty. It came with lemon potatoes (from a choice of sides). Note that this is bone in chicken. My husband got the gyro platter. He didn't enjoy his meal as much but said it was ok. We also ordered the orzo with meatballs. I didn't try this myself but my kid wasn't a huge fan. The Espa (Greek orange soda) is really good. It's like an orangina. Dessert should not be missed! We got the baklava with graham cracker ice cream. It was delicious!

My family and I dined here for the first time and it was absolutely delicious. The staff was so nice and very efficient. The owner came over and chatted with us and was so social. The food was fresh and we loved how they serve traditional, authentic Greek dishes. The servings were huge and we all had leftovers to take home. We will definitely be back!

While I was at the gym, I saw their specials outside of their store and that brought me in today. Another satisfying meal here and as always I enjoy it, the soft shell crab was very delicious. The service was very good and our server was very attentive! There were more people here this time which makes me happy because this place is such a sweet spot in this town. As others have said in their reviews, Kostas Grill is a hidden gem that offers very tasty, freshly-prepared Greek food served by attentive staff in a very unexpected location. My dining companion and I were looking for a late dinner somewhere along our drive back from Cape May to Morristown.. and we weren't expecting much from this unadorned, family-owned and -operated Greek restaurant located in a strip mall next to Retro Fitness on US Route 9 in Tuckerton -- but both of us were pleasantly surprised by both the food and the service at Kostas Grill. We walked into the restaurant about 20 minutes before closing and were worried that the staff would turn us away, hurry us through our meal, or serve us dried-out food that was destined for the dumpster. Thankfully, none of those happened. The hostess greeted us with a smile and sat us right away, quickly followed by our friendly and energetic server who brought over a small bowl of dried chickpeas to munch on while we perused the menu. I opted for the "Spicy Kostas Pork" platter ($21), comprised of two large pieces of marinated pork loin served with a small Greek salad, tzatziki, pita triangles and lemon potatoes. My dining companion opted for the Falafel platter ($21), comprised of a generous portion of falafel balls served with a small Greek salad, tzatziki, pita triangles and Greek seasoned fries. YUM. We both thought the combination of flavors and quality and freshness of all of the ingredients was OUTSTANDING and the portion size was very generous for two hungry adults. Gus and his staff made what could have been an uneventful meal on our drive home into a memorable dining experience. If we are ever back in the area, we'll definitely return to Kostas Grill. Pro Tip: Kostas Grill is a BYOB establishment, so feel free to bring your favorite wine or beer to enjoy with your dinner.

Went to Kostas had a few different apps which were all amazing. Sampler special App was perfect size, mussels were fresh with great sauce, Greek Mac and cheese was killer. Our entrees came out hot and cooked perfectly. Lamb shank in orzo was falling off the the bone. All in all great job guys. We look forward to coming back. read more

I am a picky eater from NYC and I am giving them a 5. Food is fresh and tasty, good menu selection and staff is friendly and efficient. Atmosphere is clean and fresh but not cozy. Haven't had anything that wasn't great so far after four visits. I don't eat dessert much, but I always have the olive oil ice cream. It is amazing! A must have!!!!! read more

We've had the best grilled octopus at Kostas on numerous occasions. Today, we enjoyed the best Gyros we've ever had, bar none. A blend of tender tasty beef and lamb with the most delicious tzatziki sauce, etc. We highly recommend Kostas for a lunch or dinner. read more

One of my favorite places. I love the souvlaki or gyros for a lunch and their octopus, whole fish and village salad are regular choices when we go there for dinner. Nice simple decor, a fresh change from the other local restaurants. We are frequent visitors. My son's Greek G/F liked much of it but said they missed the mark on the desserts a bit, especially her favorite, Galaktoboureko - a custard pie that should be served cold but for some reason they had popped it in the microwave. That and the price of the octopus take it down from 5 to 4 stars but overall a great meal every time we go. read more

I'm not usually a huge fan of many types of Greek food, but Kostas is absolutely fantastic! Great gyro meat, their version of a burger is awesome, especially the one with the gyro meat on top, more than anyone could possibly eat. I also love the dish of spiced chickpeas they bring out too. Excellent baklava. Would and do recommend to everyone. read more

This restaurant is a really great addition to the dining options in Little Egg Harbor. The food is good and fresh and the staff is very friendly. Once you order, it takes a while to get your entrees but it is well worth it. Everything is fresh and cooked to order. I had the chicken souvlaki platter which comes with a Greek salad, fries, warm pita and tzatziki sauce. My family had a burger that had slices of eggplant (I cannot remember the name) and a chicken gyro and everyone was very satisfied and happy with their choices. I thought the owner was very friendly, he came to our table to introduce himself and welcome us to his restaurant. It is also BYOB which is an added bonus! If you are in the area, I highly recommend this restaurant! It is a welcomed addition to the area. read more

Worth the trip. Simply outstanding in their food's quality and quantity. As proof, try their Rack of Lamb or the Mussels in Red Sauce. This place has the best gyro I've ever had. This gyro didn't have thinly sliced, dried husks of meat. It had vine ripened tomatoes, IN FEBRUARY, it had huge slabs of juicy, tender, charred lamb/beef kabab. It had rich, freshly made tzatziki sauce, which was delicious. The pita was perfect. The thinly sliced onion was perfect. Every detail was THE BEST on this sandwich! My friend got the Greek salad and a meatball side, and she loved it. The food is fresh and the service is good. It's a new place, and I hope they succeed so I can keep coming here. They serve fried chickpeas when you sit down, which is a nice touch. Very delicious. Great food and reasonable prices. I had the lamb burger with spicy feta spread and fries. The feta spread was delicious and the fries were really good also. My wife had the lamb gyro and really enjoyed it. They do not skimp on the portions. Had the calamari for an appetizer. Nothing amazing, but good. Everything was on point and we really enjoyed it. So far I have been here two times. Both times we had a great meal. I'm not used to Greek food but Tuckerton and surrounding area need some new restaurants. It's a very pretty and clean place. First visit, I can say it was a little noisy. Second was not as bad. Both times the servers were excellent. Salad is delicious, the dressing was perfect. Second time I was watching the cheese and asked for the feta on the side and it was no problem. First visit I had the Spanakopita and it was delicious. Second visit my husband and I had the burgers they were very good too. Going back Thursday with other friends, I'll let you know how they like it. BYOB a plus. read more

Came here because of all the positive reviews and now I'm adding mine. This place is fantastic. Excellent, fresh, authentic Greek good. The menu has tons of options but on this trip we both had the gyro platters. VERY large With fries, salad and pita. Even the side salad on the platter was delicious. Great service and super clean. Amazing service and super fresh & authentic food! So first they bring out these delicious seasoned chickpeas for the table which was a nice surprise. Then for the appetizers we got the tzatziki with pita along with the falafel which was great. For the entree I ordered the Spanakopita which was one of the best I ever had and it came with a pretty big greek salad,even the salad itself was really fresh and great. Others at my table ordered the lamb pot pie which was outstanding & a huge portion, the Moussaka which was so delicious along with the Lavraki (whole fish) which they give you the option to cut it yourself or have the owner come do it for you at the table (which was cool to watch) & it was so fresh & flavorful.The waitress and owner were super friendly and chatted with us for a while,can't rave about them enough. We also ordered dessert to go which was the Baklava and Kataifi & they were pretty big portions for the price and tasted amazing. We went to Kostas last week. For a restaurant that is opened for less than a month............they have their ACT TOGETHER!!!! The service was great. The food was delicious and plentiful. The décor made you feel like you were in Greece too. We had the calamari as an app. It was fried to perfection. There was enough to share with my husband. My husband had the lamb burger which was delicious. The fries were seasoned and they were good. I had the grilled veggie w/feta pita. It was tasty and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We had dessert and coffee. I had the Greek pastry. Needless to say....I skipped dinner!!! The people who own the restaurant are so friendly and they truly care about their customers and service is very important to them. Give them a try...you won't be disappointed. It' a BYOB too. read more

I ordered the gyro at $10 a pop.The meat was very dry and it didn't help that they only give you a smidgen of tzatki sauce. If you should want more it's another $1.50. Ridiculous! I won't be going back. read more

In response to the owner- She hung up on us and literally said "just cancel your reservation" without giving me a chance to speak. I've been there before and the food was good but unfortunately your service sucks. Your owner was excuse my French, a b*tch and if you lost your chef then your restaurant wouldn't be in business, sorry to say.

My meal was legitimately transcendant. I haven't had anything as good as this in a while. I had sweet Greek coffee which was in an adorable little cup and it was some of the best coffee I've ever had - and I adore coffee. Then for my actual meal, I had the Greek American burger, which was way more food than I usually eat, but it was so good. The gyro meat? Phenomenal. Everything about it was wonderful. Then we ordered olive oil and sea salt ice cream, which I wouldn't have normally expected to be a good combination, but it was beautiful. So smooth and creamy and sweet. It tasted the way silk feels. Exceptional! Fantastic! Have never been disappointed! Went last weekend with a group of 5, including an Aunt (an excellent cook), who always complains about something at a restaurant, yet had nothing but praise for the chef this night. Everyone loved the food...and, I'm talking about a tough crowd! The fact that it's BYOB makes it even more appealing. The staff was great!
