My daughter is allergic to everything, soy, dairy, egg, fish & shellfish. She can safely eat out at 4 places, and Caring Kitchen is one of them. We stop by every time there is a birthday party to pick up a cupcake so she can be included with her peers. We stop by for fun, we stop by because everyone deserves to be able to go to a store and say pick what you want. Now, for those of you who are like us and are worried about some cross contamination, Rancho does have nuts and soy. We have never had an issue with cross contamination with soy, everything is clearly labeled, and the team does a great job confirming any allergy's. I would double check depending on your nut severity, but many things seem to be pre-wrapped for this reason. The other location is even more allergy free (nut and soy free). I cannot reccomendation this company more, you will pay for the quality, but also for the safety, amazing taste and everything else that comes with a great bakery.

I ended up ordering that year a Banana Cream Pie and a Salted Caramel Dutch Apple Pie. Pies generally run in the $18 range. Well the day of pickup,I was more than thrilled with my two pies and they were absolutely beautiful,especially the Banana Cream Pie-it was so gorgeous-like a piece of art. Their whole pies are usually 8" in size-though smaller versions are also available. The pies they make at this shop can definitely be described as artisan crafted specialty pies-a whole different level than what I was used to. Lately I've been getting a few more pies here for random family events or maybe just having a sweet tooth that day. I've gotten the mixed berry pie which is a pie that features four different berries in the filling which she picks up at the local farmers market then uses the freshly-cut fruit to make her filling by hand-it's very impressive stuff and you can really taste the freshness and quality of the fresh fruit.
