I have read a couple of reviews on this place, and most were negative. I wad a bit worried, but it ended up not being a problem. We got there and were seated pretty quickly! Our server Emma explained how it worked, how to order, where all the food was, and told us about allergens when asked! They had peanut sauce here, so being a peanut allergy haver I couldn't have that. All the other food was clean from it! If you sre allergic to seasmee or sou you will be out of luck. Some of the stuff I didn't like was how when they brought out our veggies, they were on the same plate as our shrimp. Not at all food safe, especially for the lettuce. We ended up having to send it back and get other lettuce. The spicy stuff was not for me personally, and when cooking it with other meats, the flavor would get into that meat as well. The sauce that makes it spicy also sticks to the hot plate a ton! If they hd more non spicy options I would be greatful. Also, our waters were not refilled the entire 1 and a half hours we were there. I'm not sure if we had to ask, but at other restaurants you don't. My favorite foods were the finger ribs and the mussels. My GFs were the finger ribs and the premade appetizer wings. Overall, a very nice experience. We didn't get a food wasting surcharge, abf since out party was less then 6 people, we didn't get the bug party charge either. Kinda pricey, at 77 dollars (80 with tip) for two people, but I would go again. They have definitely improved since opening. read more

It looks amazing inside. Very new and shiny. All the food tasted great and there were sooooo many options. Loads of sauces at the sauce bar. The servers were ok. The food runners acted like they didn't want to be there. I think they opened before they were ready. They were getting table numbers mixed up and they had no clue what meat they were giving us half the time. There were multiple times we just never got the food we ordered either. My 2nd visit, our server was a little off putting while we were paying. He said tap so I did, he told me I was doing it wrong, snatched it out of my hand and did the chip. I don't expect them to be rays of sunshine, but dang. We will return, but maybe only after they've had more time to settle. read more

The food overall tasted good but the meat cuts were not that great. A lot of the table and dishes looked like they didn't wipe it down or wash well. Overall selection of meat and vegetables was okay, but I have seen more selection at other places. Ordered enoki mushrooms and did not receive it. Ordered calamari and did not receive it. We ordered it twice and waited a pretty long time for nothing. We had to flag someone down to bring it to their attention to get us one order of it. Our grill was always getting too hot from waiting on what we ordered and made a lot of splattering because of it. We were already wanting to leave and pay, but our server went on break. You can always tell the quality of the place from the bathroom and in the women's, 2 stalls were clogged, the disabled was not working and there was no hand towels. Decor is the whole vibe, we had the hot pot and I tried the first soup base which was not nice. When our waitress first talked to us she said we could switch it up no charge except we had to order that through her, but it took 20 mins to even talk to our waitress again. Love this place! We have been here 3 times already ! The first time was little bit underwhelming due to not sure how to order the food. The key is to order 3-5 qty for each of the food that you want to eat in the beginning. Their first serve is usually pretty quick. So I went to this restaurant for the first time today and was not impressed. First, lunch is $33. Like that right there should say everything, but it doesn't. We got to our table right away so that's a positive but from there, it just went downhill. Our "waitress" rushed through explaining how we were supposed to order and get our meal. Wellington, as we were going through the menu in order to choose what meats and vegetables we wanted the options were not the same for the hot pot and barbecue, which makes no sense to me but whatever and when I say vegetables, I say that really loosely it was garlic, onion, some leafy green, sweet potato, pineapple. However, there were two that were promising however, they were out of stock and when we asked their waitress about that, she said that they only get a shipment once a week and they usually run out of stuff on Sundays. If that's the case, why don't you adjust your shipment . When we went up to where you get the sauce and the appetizers that was less than helpful. Yes, the sauces were labeled, but I had to take a stab at which ones were going to set my mouth on fire and which ones weren't, there were a few things that were not labeled and I have no idea what those were and when we asked the waitress, she had no idea. The "appetizers" were subpar; I grabbed the spring rolls and I'm pretty sure that those were the same thing I could probably get at Walmart in the frozen section. When we got back to our table, our drinks had arrived. I ordered a green tea and my friend ordered mango lemonade. She had to have the waitress remake her cause it basically tasted like water and I still have no idea what I was drinking, but it was not green tea. It was not see-through, it was dare I say milky in color. Our dirty dishes sat on the table for roughly 30 minutes even though anytime the waitress came she didn't grab a plate or anything. At one point, she put a business card on the table and said that if we put a review, our drinks would be taken off after we did the Google review at the table and questioned her about the drinks coming off. She said that only the fountain drinks and lemonade counted, and that the green tea was a bar drink. Like what a bar drink? That's absolutely absurd. The entire experience was unremarkable. And I will say that if you plan on going for lunch during the week, I don't even think that $23 is an appropriate price. I think the place is shit. I would not recommend for anyone to go there at all. I have had poor service and poor food in restaurants before, but it has always been rectified while I'm sitting there. When the waitress asked how it was and I believe I said something like disappointing she said something like that that's fair. Like what? That's fair and you do nothing. The only good part was the little cake. They had the little mango cake and the little cappuccino cake that they normally have at Chinese restaurants. They didn't fuck that up. Make sure you do your research before going because there is no "here's how you do this". Order your drinks immediately because you won't see your server for most of the time because their sections are too big. Make sure to ask which price they will be charging you because you might go in for lunch and they'll charge you for dinner without saying anything.
