Really closer to 2.5 stars. It's pretty average. We ordered the #1 to go which is 3 snow crab clusters, shrimp, etc. It came in one of those foil baking dishes. There was literally an inch of butter in the bottom. I dont get that. Absurdly unnecessary and not cost effective. The flavor was what you would expect from food drowning in butter and garlic. The sausage wasnt unique, the shrimp I'm pretty certain were frozen prepackaged type, and not much you can do with snow crab legs. A couple hard boiled eggs are in there which is....odd. The price isnt awful. Pretty consistent for the area. The restaurant itself is pretty meh, plain as heck so no real reason to dine in. I'm a little surprised they didnt do more for a grand opening. I saw the sign go up a couple months ago but didnt even realized they had opened till I saw reviews here I wish them luck but theyll likely need to make some changes. I had been wanting to stop by (2920 location) and did finally; but close to closing time. I ordered crab legs and shrimp. Both were very good and well season; I got spicy... Could have been a little more spicy but the flavor was great. Luv, Luv the way they make their potatoes in small pieces which makes them more flavorful. I just tried it for the first time, and I'd say I love the flavor! I ordered "One King Loaded" and tried it. Awesome garlic butter sauce! However, I didn't expect that there would only be half snow crab in my order. When their menu description says "1 snow crab," I was expecting 2 clusters. I went here last week and forgot to post because I was still licking my fingers! This place is so good! I tried the one off of 290 but due to the horrible service didn't even get to eat. Decided to give this place a chance since I heard such great things. And I was not disappointed! From the staff to the cleanliness to the food, everything is A-1! Only downside is they're not open 7 days a week. Otherwise they would know me by name! If I could give them more stars I would. I even made the mistake of ordering Spicy thinking it wouldn't be too bad. Boy was I wrong. I called to see if they would allow me to exchange since my husband absolutely CANNOT eat anything spicy. Even though it was my mistake AND they were super busy due to COVID-19, they allowed me to exchange it for something different at no extra cost! They even walked it out to the car for me. This really went a long way for me. I want to personally thank Sam for his understanding and superb customer service. I'm recommending this place to any and everyone who is within a 50+ mile radius. Very basic atmosphere but when you're cracking crab and covered in butter, who really cares. Note: they only have bottled sodas, but... They are BYOB! There's an Exxon across the street... You might want to stop by there if you forgot your favorite beverage. I can't say all that much about the snow crab size, it's not in season... But it was good. But the real magic was the pound of melted butter with perfect potatoes, corn, and sausage floating in it. Normally potatoes are easily forgettable with seafood but... Well let me tell you on all 3 occasions that I have tried them in the last month it's has been horrible. The food is dry and salty. My order today is what led me here. For the price I paid it made no sense for the food to be over cooked and the sauce was barely enough for the food. Then the food had the audacity to be cold . When I tried to call the locations the line was just busy. I do not recommend this place. You'd swear it was people cooking that have never cooked a day in their life and is just practicing with us and overcharging for it. I came across Krab Kingz via google. I was waiting crab and shrimp. My go to place is lotus. But since it was a Sunday the location I normally visit was closed. I ordered the #2 Krab &shrimp platter with the kitchen sink flavor (all the flavors mixed together). The portion size was great. The staff was great and very friendly. However the food just wasn't as tasteful as I would like it to be. I'm not sure if my order was suppose to get some type of butter. But I was not offered or given any type of butter. Been coming here for crab legs since they opened. The meal with 3 crab clusters and shrimp to share was always very good. Everything used to come all together well seasoned in one bowl with the most delicious sauce. After this last visit, sad to say I won't be back. The food came out in a bowl with the shrimp, eggs corn and potatoes with a lightly flavored oily sauce. Then a tray with tiny crab clusters and flavorless oily stuff came out next. Had to ask for something to open the crab legs and was given only one cracker tool for 2 people. Had to ask for another cracker which should be automatically provided for all crab orders. The oily "butter" had no flavor, the bland corn was over cooked, and found out you have to pay for drink refills. The food has to be good if I'm making a special trip out of my way to an establishment to pay $$$. Went to Blue Water right down the street a few months prior and it was so much better which is where I'll be getting my crab fix for now on. read more

I decided to give this place a try for lunch, given all the 5 star reviews. The people who work here are very friendly and informative. I give the service 5 stars. The 2 star review is for the food. We ordered the fried catfish and the crab legs with sausage. The catfish had a lot of breading and it had a distinct lemon taste. Neither my son or I like lemon on anything. The taste was so bold I think they should call it lemon breaded catfish. My son ate 3 bites. The crab legs had good flavor and I enjoyed them. The potatoes were not the whole potatoes you would get in a usual "boil" type dinner. They were chopped up and swimming in oil. I am sorry to say we left over half of the food uneaten 42.00 worth and had to stop at another restaurant on the way home. read more

Have been dying to try this and finally did. Can't say we'd go back. Several things 1) They don't have the proper tools for cracking crab. Two pairs of crackers for the whole place and the sharp sliders weren't a lot of help (except for puncturing myself!) 2) The crab was luke warm at best after about a 15 min wait. 3) I got Cajun flavor but it was more like garlic butter with the garlic overpowering everything. 4) it was swimmmmming in butter! Like wayyy too much butter 5) Potatoes are cut in small chunks and sitting in butter and the peels were tough. 6) It's BYOB, but should be bring your own drink because dine in drink options are limited and only bottled. (No Dr. Pepper or tea) 7) Husband had shrimp and it was served the same way and he said the same about garlic flavor. Tooo much! 8) Very expensive for not being full service! We could have eaten at Bluewater Seafood with full service, cheaper. 9) sausage is cheap commercial quality like eckerich. 10) I'm currently dealing with garlic indigestion! read more

I've been waiting for over a month for this location to open and was so excited to finally see the OPEN sign this week. Met with friends for dinner and was really impressed. You place your order and pay at the counter. Your food is delivered to your table fairly quick. The staff was very friendly and was accommodating with special orders. I ordered the 2 Krab Cluster platter with potatoes, corn on the cob, sausage and a hard boiled egg. I ordered mine with the Cajun Butter and it was perfect with just enough spice. By the way, the clusters were very full and delicious. Will definitely be back to try the other combo's. Staff explained they the will be adding fried options to the menu soon.
