Chicken Avocado Panini + Mac & Cheese
    Dheredia625 ..

First time here so we wanted to try a few different dishes, we had the Chicken Avocado Panini, Mac and Cheese, Potato Wedges and Steak Panini, everything was absolutely delicious! The service and ambiance were amazing. We will definitely be back for more, highly recommend!

Chicken. They didn't try to rip us off either. I'll come back just because they did this for us when we asked for plain chicken.

We drove by a few times and finally tried it last year. It was surprisingly good. Ribeye steak is delicious. Ribeye tacos are an absolute must order each time. Mushrooms, potatoes, strawberry lemonade are our sides and beverage of choice each time. Pesto chicken sandwich is also good but we always default to the steak options first. It was so good we brought my family there the following week. We come whenever we can. Each time the food truck village seems quite sad. We ordered from the Indian and Thai place as well. Those are pretty good so I'll need to give them a review. Huge plus: we asked them to cook chicken with no sauce or seasoning so our dogs could have some while we ate. They had no issues or confusion about that order at all and only charged us $5.00.

    Dinner with the family.

This is a great food truck offering fine dining steak dinners and sandwiches at half the price of a traditional steakhouse restaurant. They some times sell out before closing, so it's a good to arrive early. Next time you're in Multnomah Village, give them a try.

Wanted to take a picture before diving in, but couldn't wait. Plate was full to start..

Stumbled on this place at the French Quarter food cart pod opposite Johns Marketplace on Multnomah Blvd. Instead of the usual gyro, or burger, I splurged and got a NY steak at Del Toro for $19. OMG. With broccolini and mushrooms, cooked perfectly with butter finish. Bang for the buck off the charts - flavor town extravaganza. Treat yourself, you won't be disappointed.

We had a surprise Friday night open in our schedule and so I called early in the week and got one of the last spots. I love chicken jagerschnitzel ("hunter" mushroom wine sauce) and was excited to give their version a try. (Note: there is a $2 up charge to get chicken schnitzel instead of pork tenderloin.) The sauce was a little different than I'm use to but it was still very good. But the Spätzle was amazing; very buttery/creamy and so magical in the sauce. Probably the best Spätzle I've ever had (including all that I've had in Germany and Austria!) My husband got the schnitzel and wurst special and enjoyed his meal. We decided to share the coconut cream cake for dessert and it was delicious. The decor in the restaurant is fun and whimsical. Make sure you use the restroom and see the fun paintings in there as well! Parking is street only and a little tricky to find. We drove around for a bit and ended up parking a few blocks away in the neighborhood.

Thousands of options here in one gigantic marketplace, and something for everyone! The marketplace itself is quite dated. Yet it is eclectic and quirky. It is welcoming and irrefutably very memorable. There is a dedicated area to serve beer on tap with a list of about 12 options and then there is a restaurant with a limited menu. Mostly things like burgers, sandwiches, and other common pub fair. There are vegetarian options available. When your order is ready, they use an overhead mic that is resemblance of something that you would hear over the loudspeaker at an 80s rollerskating rink. On site, there are bathrooms and areas for seating that include bar tops, high tops, and even a couple of comfy couches. There is an outdoor patio that is very inviting during the warmer months of the year. Ultimately, this is an incredibly impressive presentation of beverages. Perhaps even something that some people would consider a museum of sorts. Either way, there is definitely choices for everyone, and this is an establishment that can't be missed. Yes, you can visit the other location on Powell, but nothing will ever match up to the original location here in Multnomah village. An experience, a chance to shop and stockpile some beer, but truly a showcase of excellence in beer culture in the heart of our city.

This was my 3rd time here: Pros: Their sourdough bread was good when I tried a few months ago. Nice atmosphere Decent service Cons: A few pastries of theirs I have tried in the past fell short for me. Just didn't taste good. Either too greasy, or the taste was off. Cranberry Almond scone, recently purchased, fell short for me. Way too dense and too sweet. It would make a decent cookie. Buckwheat and seed scone also fell short. Way too dense and dry, too sweet. Also would make a decent cookie. Scones are supposed to be dense, but not as dense and not as sweet. At least the traditional scones. Lemon poppy seed rugelach was not good. It had a hint of rancidity and bitterness from poppyseeds. Poppy seeds taste bitter when they are either incorrectly processed or improperly stored. Rancidity happens when poppy seeds are old. It's a very specific taste that cannot be mistaken with anything else. Tried the bites of Stollen laid out for people to try. It just didn't taste good. Dry, flavorless.

You know it's going to be good. The clam chowder blew me away. Smoky, rich, and layered in a way that I've never had chowder. The smoked marrow bone is the secret weapon. Then came the pork chop.
