Best burger I've had a in while! I had the Hangover Helper and my fiancé had the Dr. Dave's Korean and we had the crispy chicken bites for an app. Everything was great, including the fries. Cool place too, spacious and clean. They even had a high chair for the high top tables which we needed ... loved that! Service was fine ... not GREAT. Really want this place to do well...good burgers, friendly staff, great location. The weird part is it's always empty which is strange. I think the place needs a redo with the interior. Warm the place up to create a more cozy space for people to gather, not just get a burger. Add some lounge seating in for patrons to just grab a drink (Beatrix at Oakbrook Mall has a great lounge space). Went here for happy hour and was impressed. Food was good. Ordered the guacamole, fried onion rings, and chicken bites. Guacamole was kinda bland but the flat bread it came with was good. We love Krafted! We go to the restaurant in elmhurst 3-5 times per month and love our meals: two appetizers (chicken bites and onion rings) and each of us 3 has a burger. Fantastic burgers. We have soft drinks. But they have 20 beers on tap and a full bar. And I must give a shout out to a server we have gotten many times, Tanya, who is fantastic! She was great our first time with her. Always quick with a smile and a great personality. But now that she knows us, she brings our drinks on the way to get us. And we usually order 3 different drinks. She remembers not only the drinks but who they go to. On top of this, she is attentive to bringing refills before we request them. She is always on top of the entire meal process. I don't even know where to begin. Service was terrible. Took 10 mins and plus me walking to ask someone before a waitress even came over. We ordered. Drinks took 15 mins. The worst part or weirdest was they brought my sons hamburger out 20 mins before our food and even our drinks!! They messed up my tater tots order and gave me fries. My son ordered a kiddie cocktail and they must've used carbonated water and barely any grenadine. We had to send it back! How do you mess up a kiddie cocktail. My husband ordered pizza and pretty sure it was a frozen Tombstone or Jack's by the way it looked and size. It looked like they thru extra toppings and that's it. I am rooting for this place, but it's off to a bit of a rough start. It was moderately busy (the exact level a new business should hope for...not jam packed, but not empty), and the staff seemed friendly and genuine. They have tavern style pizzas, burgers, and chicken sandwiches. Great, I respect a focused menu. We ordered two pizzas, and they were decent. Good enough to warrant a return visit. That said, no napkins, plates, utensils, etc. and the whole operation felt a bit poorly run. For first time I'd definitely want to come back, I ordered the black and blue burger and definitely a lot going on, with the bacon tomato lettuce to the blue cheese sauce blue cheese crumbles and Monterey Jack cheese. So definitely a lot going on with this burger. I did get the opportunity to taste the meat without the fixings and it definitely tasted delicious. For a $13 burger I definitely would have liked to see a bigger patty but size doesn't always matter, if the flavor is truly there the size of the patty can lack. With all the fixings it is a big sandwich. Staff was extremely friendly and great. Was not really interested in purchasing liquor at 1pm on a Friday but definitely have a wide variety of craft beer large whiskey selection. The atmosphere is very modern and very welcoming, if you come during the summer the front doors will be wide open. Definitely feel comfortable giving 4/5 five stars. The only thing in my opinion that could have made this experience a 5/5 would be if the burger patty was a little bit bigger. Restroom was very clean as well. At some point I'd like to do a pizza review and do a review on just a plain burger to truly get the taste of the meat. Been a few times now and really like the food; especially the spicy chicken sandwich, buffalo chicken pizza and rotating taps. Wouldn't recommend going at peak times unless you have plenty of time though. I know the service industry has been hit hard by staffing shortages so if I go out to eat the "service" bar is set pretty low and this experience was lower than that. We had a group of 10 women and were seated at 2 different tables with 2 different servers. When we asked for separate bills our server told us that based on 6 people at the table he was unable to accommodate. The server for the other table (which was right next to our table) was more than accommodating with that request. So we ordered drinks and food. Everyone was served their drinks, except me, and one of the ladies asked for a glass of ice. We were engaged in conversations and a little time went on and the other lady had to ask again for a glass of ice. My drink was still missing, however I chose to wait and see if he'd bring it with the glass of ice. Alas he brought the glass of ice and couldn't remember who asked for it and then set it down in front of someone else. I finally went up to him at the bar and asked for my drink. He brought that and then the food started to arrive. There was an issue with 4 of the 10 meals that arrived. One of the women ordered a regular cheeseburger with mozzarella cheese and the burger was so spicy she was unable to eat it. The chicken wings were very dry and not crispy and there was an issue with a mismatched order for 2 other ladies. I was very put off by the server that brought the wrong food trying to get the woman to settle for the incorrect order. Overall a very disappointing experience and I would not go back. read more

Went for the first time Thursday at 5:30 and it was packed. Many families with children-nice to see another family friendly restaurant in Elmhurst. They have 3 pinball machines in the back. We had the Korean Burger and the Smokehouse burger - very good. Ben, our server, was busy but kept his smile and attentiveness. Tursday had a speical on 1/2 price pizza and beer $5. This is more like a 3 and a half. I want this place to succeed. We need food options here in Elmhurst. It just opened so with a few tweaks it could get a much better rating. Menu is pretty limited, it is a whole page of hamburger, fried chicken sandwich, pizza. Yes I was the dope that ordered chicken in the burger joint. I was looking for something spicy so the only option seemed to be their chi hot chicken. Not sure if it was supposed to be this was but it came out blackened. Really! But the chicken on the inside was still tender and fairly good. They used pickled jalapeños to spice it up. Full disclosure the menu said jalapeños were on it. In my opinion picketed jalapeños are only appropriate for bad nachos at the ball game. We were going for chicken and waffles until they said the chicken wasn't hot (spicy) . The place was packed so we sat at the bar (I like the bar anyway) They had a little problem with one of their heating vents. It blowed cold air on us most of the night and was actually blowing the napkins off the bar. Bar tender put a plate on them to keep them there. Bar tender was friendly and attentive which was good because it took forever for our food to come out. Overall it was ok. I was hoping for a little better. We will go again to see if it is any better with other selections. They kept the same decor and layout as the previous restaurant. read more
