First time trying this place, and normally I'm a bit picky about my boba. Did not leave disappointed. The boba was sweet and had the perfect texture. It's what dreams of boba are made of. Seriously. I can't stress it enough. Both the matcha storm and king brulee were sweet (but not overpowering sweet) and tasty with just enough of all the ingredients that you could taste them all. Very refreshing. I also had the popcorn chicken. It was also extremely good, with a generous layer of crispy breading and seasoning and juicy chicken on the inside. I had it with the sweet and sour sauce, but it was good enough to eat without the sauce. The decor was clever and fit with the theme. The staff was friendly, attentive and gave helpful suggestions. Definitely one of my best boba experiences, if not the best. Will definitely come back. read more

Free hair in drink with purchase! See photo. I hear in some cultures a hair in your drink is good luck...lucky me!! Also, not as good as Krak Boba I've had at another location....tastes way different. This place looks a little run down too, like it was new a couple years ago but they aren't maintaining it much. As a boba glutton, I went to this place 3 separate times in a week before I had to leave (Class of 2020!) Oh, do I wish this was open during my time here at UCR. I had 3 drinks and 3 of their snacks - the Golden Lotus, King Brulee, and the Mango fruit tea/PopKrak Chicken, Krak Fries, and Krak Bread. Golden Lotus - 4.5/5: A pretty unique drink with a delicious payoff. A white peach oolong drink enhanced with lotus seed and water chestnut jelly was a surprising mix but I loved the delicate flavor of the tea with the jelly, with the seed adding a nutty flavor kick to it. My -0.5 is on the basis of the large size of the lotus seed - they were too big for the straw. It turned my pleasant drinking experience into a hunting party as well, using my straw as my sword to slice the seeds in half in order for me to consume it. Smaller sizes, please! Mango Fruit Tea - 4/5: While not objectively the best thing on the menu, compared to the countless other fruit teas I've had this one is a very solid contender. It isn't too syrupy and the tea doesn't completely overtake the fruity aroma - think Gong Cha fruit teas before you order. King Brulee - 3.5/5: I've had some very delicious creme brulee foam caps in the past, so I was excited to see that a place was offering it now; however, not only was the drink a completely different size than the other drinks (not communicated to me nor indicated on the menu) the finish on the creme brulee was scattered and sparse. The flavor was quite nice though, one I equate to a much milder version of Tiger Sugar's black sugar milk. Also, there was flan in my drink but it was located at the dead bottom of my drink - normally I wouldn't mind but it seems that they just put an entire flan cup's worth and did not bother to chop it up.. it was in one comically large piece. The food is pretty generic, minus the Krak Fries. Short and sweet: PopKrak Chicken was solid, more on the advertised crispy side over the greasy side. Mine did not come with fried basil (I've seen basil in pictures!) Krak Bread was good, I was expecting a salty/savory bread but it was sweeter than savory. Not my thing but I can definitely see parallel dimension Allen loving this. Krak Fries was arguably my favorite because it incorporated more ingredients - Fries, cheese, sauce, and sweet sausage. The sauce balances the sweet sausage and fries VERY well, and I just wish the fries were extra crispy (but were actually quite soggy). All in all, if I were to EVER go back to Riverside, this would definitely be a place I would check out before I leave. Hopefully they become more consistent and rise to IE boba stardom. read more

The drink was really good. If you're craving boba I definitely recommend this spot! We got the butterfly passion fritz and just like in the name, it tasted like a frizz soda. the workers there were really nice, and fast. the store itself was okay, it was kept pretty clean but a homeless man inside. i loved their tip jar tho read more

So far we have tried the Green thai tea and the Wintermelon milk tea. Both were just okay, nothing amazing. I feel as if they aren't as strong in tea flavor which I prefer. The boba however is sweet and chewy which is great. The place is clean and employees are very friendly. read more

Stopped by looking for something refreshing, and that's exactly what we got! We ordered the Golden Lotus, Dragon Slayer, and Strawberry Matcha Latte, and they were all so good! I usually get my drinks less sweet, and even though you can't adjust the sweetness on the Specialty drinks, these all ended up tasting amazing anyway! I'm always a little hesitant to order something beyond a basic tea, but these drinks were both beautiful and super yummy. We also ordered the fries and chicken. When ordering, there was a mixup so they misunderstood what we wanted. When we explained it to them they were so kind and understanding, and even gave us a free food voucher! Above and beyond good customer service, in my opinion. The fries were fantastic- a good balance of truffle and Parmesan- and the chicken was perfectly crispy and moist. Upon first impression I noticed that the store interior was fairly spacious and had cute LED light decor. There were plenty of hand sanitizers placed throughout the store which was also a plus. Social distancing stickers were placed on the floor and plexiglass separating order/pick order area. There wasn't really a line when I went so I got my drink fairly quickly. Notes: There's plenty of parking in the plaza and is located near UCR I ordered the Matcha Storm because it reminded me of Omomo matcha appearance wise (with the creme brûlée's swirl). The taste however, was very different. It tastes like a Starbucks caramel frappuccino but instead of coffee, with matcha powder and has just the right amount of sweetness. I'd rate it a 7/10, nothing extraordinary but not bad either, just nothing memorable. The matcha flavor wasn't very apparent in the drink so everything tasted kinda "bland"?? Honestly I would recommend trying something else from the menu. Price wise, it's on the higher end I paid about $5.93 (with tax). Overall, I think is it worth trying! They just opened recently so there's room for improvement. read more

UPDATE: Been going here often and the drinks are bomb af still, but this time I found a piece of aluminum thats probably from the yakult seal in my drink :,( I was drinking it and felt something poke my tongue. For the Krak Fries, when we order it with spice level hot, it never comes with any of the spice! The place is rlly good, but I feel like the quality might be going somewhat down :( read more

Decided to check this place out before leaving Riverside! The interior is nicely decorated, they provide hand sanitizer at the front, and the cashier who took my order was super sweet. I got the Taro Twist which is like mashed taro bits with milk + boba and it wasn't my favorite drink ever but also not the worst. I wish the drink was a bit colder, I ended up putting it in the fridge for a while before drinking it. I wouldn't get the same drink again but I would come back to try something else or maybe the food options! read more

I got the Matcha Mango Twist with Oatmilk (w/ no boba) and I'd recommend this if you like this unique combination! I really enjoyed the drink cause it was the right amount of sweet for me :) The King Brûlée was bomb too! Definitely shake up the drink very well so all the sugar& flavor gets mixed in :) The bobaristas at the store were very nice and answered all my questions nicely. There were four of us so we got to try 4 specialties recommended by their friendly staff: Taro Twist, Matcha Storm, Tropical Paradise & Golden Lotus! Taro Twist 5/5: O.M.GEE deliciousness came from heaven! Made with fresh milk & definitely fresh taro mash! It was one of my favorites! I haven't had a good taro drink in a long time! I love how it's NOT too sweet but flavor and sweet are well-balanced! Caffeine-free perfect for kids! Matcha Storm 5/5: if you like matcha & rich creamy flavors! Definitely go for this one! Tropical Paradise 5/5: if you love a good sparkling fruit flavors for this hot summer days - I highly recommend this one! It's so refreshing and it'll bring you to paradise! Stumbled upon this place and not what a find!?!?!? Talk about finding a diamond in the rough. Not the most safest of locations but this place is worth coming to. The menu is overwhelming, every thing looks so good. Personal tip, there is a reason why the bread is called Krak Bread! This thing is amazing! Been here twice now, impressed both times by the quality of the food and boba drinks as well as the service. I really hate coming to this part of town and come only if I have to use the USPS. After discovering this place I'm going to have to come more often. My wife is so hooked on the Krak bread, I'm expecting the new PlayStation 5 as a reward for discovering this establishment. read more

One of my go-to spots in Riverside when I'm craving green Thai tea. I think Krak has great options, including their brown sugar crème brûlée, taro swirl, and ginger ale. Service is fast and kind. My only criticism is that their drinks tend to be on the sweeter side. I usually opt for like 0% sugar if it's an option because if not, it's waaaaay too sugary. read more

I got the Golden Lotus with boba, the oolong tea is pretty good, combined with the cream its a light sweetness that's quite pleasant. The drink's overpowers the taste of the water chestnut jelly so its mostly there for mouthfeel. The lotus seed adds a powdery texture when chewed that may be offputting to some but it's not intrusive. The boba topping itself is quite nice, balanced sweetness with a good amount of chew to it. Overall I'd give the drink an 8.1/10. Quite a unique drink, never had anything like it. However, the downside is that the drink cost $5.45 with $0.65 for boba for a total of $6.10, which is quite steep for a cup of boba. read more

Good tea! Wish I'd gotten the regular boba instead of the pink boba that comes with the Moon Princess, though. The pink ones are a little harder, more like jelly but not as soft. Couple stars off since I don't think it's exactly worth the price point (a little higher than your average boba prices). They only have one size, too. Otherwise super fast service. read more

For me, the drinks are pretty average. Nothing I crave about them. But I will say, as someone who doesn't like boba, their boba is pretty good quality. I'm giving it a 3 mainly because of service. They're usually not happy and a little sloppy. They didn't clean their blender good and some of my dragon fruit bits ended up in my sister's cookies & cream drink. She didn't mind because she loves their drinks. Now we go to the one in Corona. Much better service and the boba quality is the same. read more

Boba: 4.5/5 Drinks: 4.5/5 Parking: easy Rounded to 5/5, b/c this is riverside and I am thankful for good boba shops. Is the boba chewy and sweet? Yes, it is very chewy. I like my boba that way. Do they have unique and classic drinks? Yes Is parking easy? Yes, in a strip mall with ample parking. Is the place cute? Can I hang out there? Yes, cute, but can't hang out there currently. Just a grab drink and go type of place. Drinks I've tried: Dragon Slayer: Lychee slush drink with dragon fruit and mango bits. I usually don't get fruity drinks but this was DELICIOUSS and super unique. All the flavors go really well together and lychee is delicious. For those who don't know, dragon fruit has a very benign flavor (slightly sweet, washed-out flavor). It looks like it would taste crazy, but is actually very chill. King Brulee: Basically brown sugar milk tea with pudding and some burnt creme brulee like bits. Not my favorite from here since it's on the sweeter side for me Matcha Storm: This is sooooo good! Super creamy yet ice blended matcha drink w/ a strong matcha flavor. One of my favs. Green thai tea: I tried my friend's drink for this one and it was great! Thai tea flavor with this very almost fragrant and flowery green tea aroma. Nice, unique blend! read more

At the same time, my husband approached another employee -- a young woman with very long black hair and a pink bandana (see pic)-- simply to ask for the WiFi password. Without even looking at him, she told him he needed to "buy something first." When he explained that I was already ordering, she repeated herself in a dismissive tone and continued making sandwiches without making eye contact once. What stood out most wasn't just the lack of hospitality, but the overall attitude from multiple staff members. The environment felt cold, dismissive, and inconvenienced by customers being there at all. Ironically, the café advertises community classes like yoga and live meditation classes on the window, yet basic customer service and professionalism seem completely absent. The food itself was fine, which is why this review is specifically about the service experience. Even after how poorly we were treated, I still left a tip because I refuse to match that level of disrespect. Management seriously needs to address the customer service culture here. One rude interaction can happen anywhere -- but multiple employees displaying the same behavior reflects a larger issue.

She seems clean and friendly, and the teas are hung up on the wall and not placed on a table so you won't get litter paws all over your tea leaves. Maybe it's just something to be aware of if you have cat allergies or just dislike them.
