We're a little into the cut and I'm chit chatting with the barber and as we're talking about where we're from and grew up, I tell him my husband is from a different country. He proceeds to say to me- "oh. I know like a lot of people don't like people from that country". To which I say "oh, uh hmm" because I was confused and my brain could not understand why someone who I am giving my business to, would say such a rude comment to me, in front of my son, who is half from this country! What in the actual world?! Why would ANYONE say this to a customer? My…read moretypical barber in the Bay was booked, so I decided to hop on Yelp to find something on the way, and that lead me here. Walk-ins at Bay Area barber shops are hard to find. Luckily EJ was available to line up my face and he did a wonderful job. He lined up my mustache and when I asked for a straight razor shave finish, he was able to take care of me right away. I didn't ask how much the service was before sitting down and when EJ told me $10, I was blown away. It's 2.5x more for the same service up in the Bay. I didn't have any cash, but luckily he took Venmo/cash app for payment. I've been to to a few barber shops in the bay where the customer service is next to nothing. Not here! If I lived in the area, I would definitely give EJ a try for a haircut. He was kind, courteous, and did a great job.
